  • When he was chief in Dearborn, Ron Haddad hired Brian Smouthers as a police officer. Today, he wishes he hadn’t. “He should never work for another police department,” Haddad told 7 News Detroit. After Haddad fired Smouthers in 2020, the longtime police chief thought he would never wear a badge again. But he was wrong.

Downriver has an issue with the cops. About 15 or so years ago- Allen Park had a red headed cop that was a bad cop. They fired him. Southgate hired him. I pulled over on Northline road near Allen Rd because my car was smoking- with my 2 young children in the back seat. I get out to pop the hood- the same red headed cop pulls up behind me and told me to stay in my car..... he issued me a ticket for a crack in the windshield instead of seeing if I needed help. Then he LEFT! What a wonderful thing to teach young kids.... that cops are NOT the first people to go to if you have an emergency. Grrrrrrr.

All the first victim had to do was get a PFA order on him so that he can’t work as a cop. This is absolutely worse because they have no relationship and she went to the police to report a crime and ends up being victimized by him. Also report him to the Michigan state agency that certifies local police so that they can revoke his police certification.

So, even having the woman’s photo in his phone was not enough to get him, fired from being a police officer, knowing that the chief knows that she was not assigned her case file🤯🤯🤯🤯

If you get fired as a cop that should be you're one and only chance, they act like they get fired once a day but it literally takes huge criminal leaps for police to ever be held accountable even in the slightest.

And law enforcement officers that gets fired or quits should automatically be red flagged in the system and lose thier certification and never be employed with security or any type of law enforcement again.
