So you can probably tell how passionate I am about Mother Hecate. I really hope this video helps you, especially you newbies out there.
I have lost count of the amount of times people have come to me, scared of Hecate. There is no need to be scared! It pains me and I'm sure it pains her too, to know of the lies and fears people have. I'm making it my mission to clear up what I can, when I can :)

Last night (November 16,2023) had a supper in her honor). Been working with her for two years. The more time I spend with her, the more I can see times before I knew her, she knew me. She was unlocking doors my whole life. If I could do it all again, I mean life, the only thing I'd change is that I would have realized her presence sooner. That would changed a lot of other things.
Well...I am a believer that she comes to us when we are ready and she is needed. Her timing all has meaning I'm sure :)
What did she did to you?
@nana-wj9gn Mostly, she "shows me things." Sometimes, this comes in the form of a sudden insight or a feeling of fatedness about some seemingly trivial thing. For example, about 20 years ago when I was in college, I took a class that wasn't in my major but was a university requirement. Actually, it wasn't the class I signed up for but, for reasons I won't go into here I was allowed to fulfill the requirement with a different class. This class had a service learning component. When the professor was explaining this component, I heard an audible click right behind my head (like the sound of a pad lock opening) and I knew that somehow my life would change profoundly as a result of this service. Ine of the things I did was work on a tiny organic farm. This set in motion a series of events which led, all these years later, to my wife and I living in a tiny off grid cabin, something that both of us always wanted to do but could see no clear path to that life.
I didn't know anything about Hekate at the time but, the feeling I got when I heard that "click"is the same feeling I get now when ever she "shows me something". This is only one example. As I've worked with her, she has shown me other points in my life when she was opening doors and shedding light.

@@ThatDivinationWitch the funny thing is, I randomly came across a reading on TikTok that said “What message does Hekate have for you?” In that reading it said that I was listening to all the rumors about her and was afraid to work with her. And that was true. The reading was pretty accurate. I’ve been trying to work with her for years, but was afraid because of some of the things said about her. So it’s funny that you mentioned it right off in your video that a lot of things said about her aren’t true.
I was asking her to help me find the right information on her. And she answered with you.

I never heard of Hecate before coming across a jewellery website that creates necklaces and earrings inspired by different goddesses. I got really drawn to the Hecate one and bought it.
I then started googling and watching videos about the symbology of Hecate and actually got worried about all the darkness around it and thought of not wearing the pendant.
I’m glad I found your video, I now feel more at ease with it.

Thank you for this wonderful video! I am also very partial to Hekate, as well as other dark godesses, like Kali. I guess it's because I feel like "She has seen stuff, dark stuff, like me!" Her daughters, Medea and Circe, are also strong, and hasn't been tamed down by the patriarchal society, but you can almost feel Hekate walking by their side, giving them courage and strength. I’ve felt Lady Hecate calling me all my life. I’ve recently begun to answer that call. Her energy feels like home to me. She picked up from my lowest point years ago and waited patiently until I was ready to answer her call. She is my dark mother, my guiding light in the darkness, and I have been preparing a small altar for her in my office. She waited for me at the crossroads and welcomed me when I came to her. Looking back, she is the reason I redecorated my bedroom in her colors. Dark Blue, greys, blacks. I’ve laid out lavender and out by her candles.

Hi there ive recently connected to Her unintended...just felt it. When i look at things in my life i see how she has always been there. Im just joining the dots. So many synchronicitys... from the herbs i like various symbols...and running with a pack of dogs- all happened to be female dogs...magical experiences and learnings....still unpacking things .but now i know how its solidifying...yet to know why...but who ever does eh....thankyou for you for sharing. I started working with Lady Hecate recently and the only candle i had for her was a white one. She was only content with it because i had no money for another candle and the candles name was "The Crossroads". Ive decorated it and that seemed to make it more enjoyable for her.
I feel Hecate is making herself known to me. I am learning so much and am amazed @ the synchronicities.
I truly believe she sent you to me. To not be afraid. To learn more about her and to accept her. When you said candles, I immediately heard black color. For wine I heard red & rich.

This video helped me so much thank you, I’ve had multiple encounters experiences feelings, and dreams about her. I feel like she’s been in my life a long time, but since I grew up in a Christian household, I didn’t even know she existed. I’ve always loved the moon, my Nana had a huge collection of antique keys. I’ve had several other types of experiences. But the one that made me realize I needed to work with her was when I had a dream about her, there were 3 of her in my childhood house. She did look scary to me but then a portal opened up and I got to go talk to my papa who passed a couple years back. The other day I realized she was the one who led me to him in the spirit realm. I’ve been in the spirit realm in dreams many times but that one was so different. She’s the reason I’m able to communicate with my papa even after death. She deserves the most love and devotion.

I'm so glad Mother Hekate led me to your channel. As I ask for more people who work with Hekate, so i can locate like mided people and i found your chance 😊. When i began working the Hekate she told me to drop my Amcesteral alter and since then I've grown so much. Honestly , i felt i was speaking eith Trickster spirits at that time in my life. You are a beautiful soul. Thank you for this video. I needed it. I struggle with a male God. Hecate has started calling me. A dragon and a witch showed up in smoke at a bonfire. I asked my tarot last night if she was for me and it told me yes. Then this morning there were two lightening bugs in my living room. I put them outside. Took it as a sign.
I've had fine luck with beeswax candles, they're more amber colored than white. I just find they burn nicely and the wax pools in a pretty way, and are small votive sticks so they aren't expensive. I also like to burn favorite candles that I didn't want to burn otherwise.
I found my tarot deck (first time I ventured into it) seeking out something specific and found exactly the kind I wanted, like it was something out of my childhood with illustrations from the Arabian Nights. It's been very helpful and I generally find the readings are clearest leading into the new moon.
Oh, and generally the most potent feelings and readings I've gotten has been when I put a concerted effort and intention into what I'm doing--like when I went out one day to get a tarot deck and incense with her in mind, specifically taking action (rather than purchases, that's not what I mean) and being mindful.

I am new’ish. I feel she’s been for real calling me since 2022 probably, when I was listening to a podcast about her and my keys fell off my keychain, into my lap, while I was about to turn into a Starbucks 😊I’ve been researching and honestly a little timid, about approaching someone so powerful. But I am getting closer, I’m researching how to specifically connect, rn. (While I meditate). I’m excited yet reserved
I lost my father and went through a horrible toxic relationship/ ending of that relationship. The ending of that connection has triggered all my wounds inside of me. I'm lacking self love and confidence to let go of that individual who has truly hurt me. In my tears of distress on my commute home, i felt so angry and broken. Then, I heard her name come into my mind. It's like it shifted in from the left side and it was a whisper of her name. I instantly opened up RUclips and searched Hekate and I was lead to your channel. I will be watching more of your videos.. is she calling me?

I really dont like how dark or darkness is associated with being evil. The night is not more evil than the daytime. Evil is evil and happens in either.
Hecate's association with darkness i would feel is more in line with that of awareness. That which is not in the light of our awareness but rather in the darkness of our subconscious. The same goes with the Underworld, which is very symbolic of the subconscious or unconscious part of ourselves.

I looked up her temple in turkey and it looks so much like the place I dreamed about years ago. I was filling a pool inside it with other people and restructuring/cleaning it. We were shocked to uncover two skeletons buried behind one of the stones. I swam over to the other side where there was a smiling statue of a goddess I didnt know who it was. Now Im thinking it was her.

I've been experiencing a number of meaningful coincidences (various tarot and other things that feel too significant to ignore) to where it feels almost like a conversation. It's always either gently teasing or chiding if I'm (pretty knowingly) making poor decisions. It always feels like a loving aunty, unconditional or no-nonsense if I'm not taking care of myself.
I love how pragmatic and gentle your content is. Something I've struggling with is how open to be about my practice with friends and family. People have been pretty accepting of me getting into tarot and folk magic (which is lovely and appreciated) but if I reference anything more spiritual than that they look at me like I have two heads. Is it disloyal not to talk about something that's important to me? Or is it alright for it to stay private and hidden from my loved ones?

Ive been working with hekate for the past year. A litlle off and on the past few months bc theres a lot going on in my life. She honestly has had a very hands off approach with me. But i also came to her as someone who had no idea how to connect with the divine and am kinda sensitive and fearful of being rejected. I do come from a christian background and the whole reason i left was the lack of connection i felt woth the christ god. It felt like i wasnt good enough or that he didnt want me. So things have been a little slow. Sometimes i feel like she gives me funny looks bc i might be acting a little silly with how fearful i was of her getting angry with me or just out right rejecting me. But i know better now. Shes taught me a lot. She gives me space when im feeling overwhelmed and lets me do my own thing. She knows ill come back. Ill think of her and try to find ways to better connect and every time i do i get a feeling of joy upon finding something that works. Ive realized that i have to make my path a very personal one bc anything else feels restrictive or like im doing things wrong. I still read plenty and pick what works from them or just find inspiration. I even feel like shes reached out to me recently and helped me figure some stuff out. And i will be forever greatful for her and her patience bc its something i really needed

Even Jesus lost his temper and allowed his darkside to come out. He tried to show us it's ok and natural. The powers that be let that story slip in, but they brush over it quickly. If you're not paying attention, you'll miss it. I was raised loosely in Christianity, but it was confusing and too contradictory, so I pretty much abandoned it. I have just recently started to study Hecate. Truly, I was terrified to even think of the things I had to do and give up to work with her. I'm not anymore, but the fear was real and stopped me cold.

I ordered a box of 100 white candles and was send a box of 100 black candles. I took it as a sign and reordered white candles since I still needed them. A few months later I started working with Hecate and was very well stocked on black candles. lol

I have been trying to work with Lady Hekate for almost 2 years. I would like to make sure I am a good Devotee. Any tips?
I would think most all gods don't mind light candles - white/natural - because the gods are ancient, and in ancient times that's the only color worshippers had.
Yeah I've addressed this since. It's purely upg. It's just in my experience. If you have the means to get another candle...yes do it. If not it's fine.
I show Hecate my love often. I recently left an offering of grapes to her and A wild rabbit snagged one of them as a snack. I left her five grapes to represent all five elements.

Not pdfs. The lady who wrote keeping her keys has a RUclips too. She's knowledgeable and reliable. Nobody I can think of who is still active that posts about Hecate lots. There was a lady called Samantha something but I think she's unwell and had to stop posting a while.
Hello! I have a feeling that Hekate doesn't like me. That's not to say she ever did anything to me. But I call her I get the feeling that she's all fed up with me :))). And now I feel like she's straight up ignoring me. Has anyone experienced sth like that? The white candle thing is funny to me. And just shows how she’s different with her different children. But I have a white candle for her, it’s a 7day glass candle, and I drew her name and symbols of her on it, and she loves it, the flame dances. But I also now have a black candle for her. She has told me she loves both. I just find it interesting. ❤

It may be related to the capacity in which you’re working with her. Specifically, which aspects/epithets that you’re dealing with. I’m not sure, since I don’t work with Hecate, but I have been researching Hellenic paganism recently due to my own calling.
Hecate is a cthonic deity most of the time, and cthonic deities tended to be associated with black. The procedures for addressing them and offering to them were very different from addressing and offering to ouranic deities, who were often associated with white. For ouranic deities, the fat and bones were offered to the gods and burned, while the meat was eaten by the community. They thought of this as sharing a meal with the gods. Now, for cthonic deities, black animals in particular were sacrificed, and would typically be burned and offered whole in a pit. While the Greeks did want to show respect to cthonic deities, their association with the dead meant the Greeks didn’t want to share a meal with them, since sharing a meal with the dead would make you one of them.
However, the divisions between the two aren’t always so clear cut. Certain ouranic deities had aspects that were considered cthonic and could make the trip down, while certain cthonic deities had epithets and aspects that could make the trip up. For example, Demeter is largely considered an ouranic deity, but due to being the goddess of agriculture, she also had a cthonic aspect since you plant seeds under the soil. I imagine the story of Persephone might also have something to do with that. I imagine that Hecate is similar in having both cthonic and ouranic aspects despite being primarily cthonic. Hecate is the Lady of the Crossroads and liminal spaces so I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
Can I connect with Hecate if I’m connected to Jesus too? I hear Hecate calling me and I want to work with her while also still working with Jesus
Of course you can! Yeshua/Jesus is an amazing light energy. While mother is dark. They balance each other out. Yeshua doesn’t judge the way people say he does…that’s toxic religion. And Hecate gets along with 99.9% of people. She’s so ancient she’s above petty feuds.
I also work with Michael the Archangel too on the side. And I’m strongly connected to Hecate.

I have strong preferences for amethist (I always loved it at a visceral level), dragonbood for incense, red wine, garlic cooked, and I had two dogs, both of them found by my father and not planned at all, and also I love howls, could it be that Hecate was near me for a long time? Also, tarot, I read them, I quitted with time but every time I see tarot cards I feel strongly pulled in. COngratulation for your path, hope you the best for your life!
Also, I felt Athena near me, for a period, I would see lots of images of her in my daily life coming to me.

No experience in this world, never looked into following or attempting to connect with particular gods and goddesses, no knowledge of even how to, but I have found myself telling my best friend probably once a week for about 2 months now, I don’t know why, but I need to study Hecate, I can’t describe it but I’m drawn to her. Oh my Goddess. Glad I listened to the gut feeling of "eh, not the white candle" last night when doing a ritual with Hekate. I burned incense instead because all I had was white/ lighter colored candles.
