white belts.... lots of hours in the mat to change that chicken mind...I think that guys knows everything and have nothing more to learn from these monsters in front of them... so, whats left beside chatting?
I would pay alot to fly from europe just to get one lesson from such a great coach and former Judo fighter Jimmy Pedro and those two ignorant idiots standing there right next to this great guy chatting to each other and making stupid jokes! They don't deserved to be there!
Those two guys in the back there just chatting away and even laughed and high fived WHILE a technique was being shown by esteemed high level black belts is utterly disrespectful! They don't even have the COMMON SENSE, and the DECENCY to be quiet and go elsewhere!
Guy on the left was a total douche. No respect or etiquette. Hopefully he learned some. I kept hoping throughout the video that Bernardo would turn around and tell them both to STFU.
Thank you, Bernardo and the legend Jimmy Pedro ! Bernardo, a humble suggestion to you and the cameraman: Please next videos don't allow nobody talk and stay on the back of the scene.Everybody can notice the moment Sensei Jimmy Pedro look these disrespectful John Nothings on the back!Excellent video , Champion !Thank you!
Yeap i don't know how it works in other schools but at my local gracie barra once a teacher starts speaking your turn it off to let the other and yourself profit from his knowledge, that weird that no respect was shown while what he was demonstrating was actually a pretty rare lesson on a specific subject.
loved the video, as a blue belt in bjj I can't stand the loudness of the two in the back. Maybe they didn't know it was being filmed but the level of disrespect is quite astonishing. I've seen kids show more self control
I competed against Jimmy in my late teens & early 20s after making the national team in the senior divisions and he killed me on the matt. But another Olympic Bronze medalist and para Olympic coach who trained athletes with Jimmy and went to the last 2 Olympics with him who was my coach on the national team is Ed Liddie. You may want to have some videos with him also as he has techniques that were not mastered by Jimmy nor nobody back then however several over the years had mastered the same techniques but for the most part they are athletes from other countries.
Man chatterboxing when such high level instruction is on display by two of the all time greats is just blasphemy. I'd literally quit my job and swim through a sea of sharks to have the opportunity to learn from either of these two gentlemen.
Bernardo, you make so many awesome videos! Keep it up. You help me so much. And thank you to Jimmy Pedro for sharing your Olympic-grade teachings with us. Awesome video.
Love the little details in this vid. Like Bernardo cringing in pain from Jimmy's grip breaks. And Jimmy raising his voice during the demo to tell his students to STFU. What an OG lol
Thanks for the great video nothing but respect for the coach, love grip related training. Excellent explanation! But those white belts are dense. They couldn't take a hint when coach yelled at them. They wouldn't even notice if someone walked up and RNC them.
Good tech for the cold . Judo still has its usefulness regardless of the mma thoughts . It is used there just not as much as wrestling and jujitsu . Props to Pedro and Bernardo.
This is what happens when the instructor loses control. You cant blame whitebelts for doing whitebelt things. The instructor shouldve prepared beforehand and moved them off the mat, or gave them something to do.
The one on our right is Travis Steven’s regular uke in all his BJJ videos nowadays, and featured as the ‘model’ on many of Fuji’s gis on their website currently.
TheD1c3 well yes, but in judo club we don't train with the exact rule ser from ijf, if you are not a competitive judoka you don't need to limit your techniques, anyway a competitive judoka usually beat me down easy even with ijf ruleset...
The guys in the background had such an excellent opportunity to watch and learn from a legend, but now they have to see themselves acting like idiots in a video forever.
Please remove those two from the gym. There are so many people (like me) who wish to meet you for just a split second but will likely never get the chance to.
This would be a much better video if it weren't for all the background noise. The two jokers in the back of the mat not paying any attention are being even more disrespectful.
Two of the best at their craft are giving a free Masterclass lesson - and two white belts are standing right there, completely clueless, cackling away. Completely disrespectful. The lesson is fanstastic however!
Bernardo looks like a big panda and talks in an adorable way. lol. a very likable person!
somebody slap those white belts chatting in the background
white belts.... lots of hours in the mat to change that chicken mind...I think that guys knows everything and have nothing more to learn from these monsters in front of them... so, whats left beside chatting?

Dude... Jimmy Pedro did not like that at all. Professor Faria should’ve slapped the shit out of those two idiots.
Those guys in the back should have been glued to every. single. word. So disrespectful.
Absolutely. No respect for these great Masters. Those two in the back need to get choked out 😡
It’s not only a huge honour, it’s a huge PLEASURE this time, I’m so glad to see Bernardo this happy :)
Those bros in the background really seem to be hitting it off..
Lol the look after the laugh
😂😂😂
2:32 death stare at the two guys talking through the lesson, so distracting and disrespectful
Thomas Ingram exactly! And they kept on standing there talking too. I’d be getting the hell out of there quickly!
Those two guys in the back there just chatting away and even laughed and high fived WHILE a technique was being shown by esteemed high level black belts is utterly disrespectful! They don't even have the COMMON SENSE, and the DECENCY to be quiet and go elsewhere!

2:37 bernardo's face...genuinely shocked at the grip break force

Washington Sauerbronn true
Why are those bone heads in the background gabbing while sensei is teaching. Great video and great lesson from a master.
They are extras
@@KPho150 extra annoying.
They get the look though.....🤨
Yeap i don't know how it works in other schools but at my local gracie barra once a teacher starts speaking your turn it off to let the other and yourself profit from his knowledge, that weird that no respect was shown while what he was demonstrating was actually a pretty rare lesson on a specific subject.
Bernardo is like Ferdinand the Bull, so brutal yet so nice and happy all the time. Would love to train with him!
Bernardo is such a warm and nice person! Great vid !
loved the video, as a blue belt in bjj I can't stand the loudness of the two in the back. Maybe they didn't know it was being filmed but the level of disrespect is quite astonishing. I've seen kids show more self control
Bernardo Faria is the MAN!!! He's so positive I love it!
I love the gas face Jimmy gives those guys laughing in the background.
I competed against Jimmy in my late teens & early 20s after making the national team in the senior divisions and he killed me on the matt. My coach just taught me the importance of leaning back to break the grip the other day. This deserves an oss!
Man chatterboxing when such high level instruction is on display by two of the all time greats is just blasphemy. I'd literally quit my job and swim through a sea of sharks to have the opportunity to learn from either of these two gentlemen.
Get a grip 🙄
Bernardo, you make so many awesome videos! Keep it up. You help me so much. And thank you to Jimmy Pedro for sharing your Olympic-grade teachings with us. Awesome video.
For this and many of the other videos you do, Bernardo, this is the best channel in all of Jiu-Jitsu. Thank you.
Love the little details in this vid. Like Bernardo cringing in pain from Jimmy's grip breaks. And Jimmy raising his voice during the demo to tell his students to STFU. What an OG lol
Fantastic video as always Bernardo sir!
Two legends huge respect
The Two bell ends in the background should be ashamed of themselves
Thanks for the great video nothing but respect for the coach, love grip related training. Excellent explanation! But those white belts are dense. They couldn't take a hint when coach yelled at them. They wouldn't even notice if someone walked up and RNC them.
this guy is a legend.
If it impresses Bernardo, then it must be pretty epic! Gold medal Olympian technique right there.
I think bernardo is the only world champion who can’t tie their belt good 😂 love him
Fantastic lesson ! So much strategy ! Thanks so much!
OMG those dam disrespectful White Belts hanging out in the background killing the audio wtf
Really great tips!! Glad I stumbled upon this.
Good tech for the cold . Judo still has its usefulness regardless of the mma thoughts . It is used there just not as much as wrestling and jujitsu . Props to Pedro and Bernardo.
Khabib uses a mixture of wrestling and judo in his takedowns
Jimmy is THE MAN!
This was awesome!
How to disrespect sensei 101
Great video Coaches!!!
Some great points here. Thanks.
Oh, to live in the Boston area...
Not sure but Jimmy is stating how to break a grip in jujitsu. The current rules in judo do not allow a two hand break. Now it is only one hand.
Counter and grab to make direct attack or looking like direct attack.100% legit
2:30 🤣😭🤣😭 the laugh is ridiculous, BUT THE HIGH-5?!?! 🤣😭🤣😭
Lighten up everyone. It was hilariously dumb
I did subscribed right away after a1, minute of watching very informative video thsnk you gentleman's ...
Is it just me, or does this guy sound exactly like the inn keeper from Frozen? LoL... Great video.
Or Kermit....
i cant get over how giddy Bernardo is
This is really good, keen to try in class
I didn’t realise Borat was conducting the interview
That kind of disrespect towards the sensei is not acceptable in a dojo.
good video, helpful. thank you for sharing.
Nice work
Terrific technique
Simplistic beauty
Agree with everyone here.
Bernardo looks like a kid on Christmas throughout the whole video
2 beast's!!!
Merci !
2:31 "shut up white belts"
Awesome~~~
What about those 2 guys talking in the background casually messing up the vdo of two legends?
2:33 you can grip back inside position.
Great yeah
1 stripe white belt teaching -2 stripe white belt “and THATS the story of the time I almost got a half guards”
What about shido for edge of sleeve?
lol @ 2:30
dn a lol "I'll explosively USE MY HANDS TOGETHER"
Lol Jimmy looked like he was ready to go over & dump those two disrespectful idiots on their heads..... I would've paid money to see that
take it easy guys... Keenan Cornelius was just joking in the background
Ha! 😂😂😂😂😂
During 2 on 1, wouldn't your opponent be able to get your sleeve grip too? Is that a way to avoid that?
that's what I'm wondering, I am curious for jiu jitsu vs. judo reasons
This is what happens when the instructor loses control. You cant blame whitebelts for doing whitebelt things. The instructor shouldve prepared beforehand and moved them off the mat, or gave them something to do.
1:22
it sucks that a lot of this is illegal now.
And the two white belts were never seen again
The one on our right is Travis Steven’s regular uke in all his BJJ videos nowadays, and featured as the ‘model’ on many of Fuji’s gis on their website currently.
Goltz Judo would’ve thrown them out. Very disrespectful to talk while sensei is teaching. I blame the dojo they must not teach mat etiquette.
Omg
why 11 dislikes ??
What if your opponents are shirtless
Jimmy would call Mike
Swain the greatest coach in US Judo history.
What about Cahill?
Someone’s disrespectful white belts in the back
The idiots at the back were too distracting!!! Great content, but Bernardo should've kick them out! Thumbs down!
Strange, i thought that grip breaking with two hand is forbidden ( Judo)
TheD1c3 well yes, but in judo club we don't train with the exact rule ser from ijf, if you are not a competitive judoka you don't need to limit your techniques, anyway a competitive judoka usually beat me down easy even with ijf ruleset...
It can be legit of you make a direct attack attempt.
Keep in mind, the Judo guy is talking to BJJ practitioners who do not have a 2 hand on 1 restriction. If it works, it works.
There is no respect to the sensei/teacher in brazilian judo ?
No mifune is the best
The guys in the background had such an excellent opportunity to watch and learn from a legend, but now they have to see themselves acting like idiots in a video forever.
@@NoBody-ro3xj ah so you must be one of those smart people that learn something the first time you see it, good on you.
@@NoBody-ro3xj oh good, so you’re the type of person that picks up a technique after only drilling it for an hour, you are amazing. Great job you.
@@djustinfowler thank you it's nice to be noticed.
@@NoBody-ro3xj I’ve definitely noticed something about you for sure
It’s Judo Borat
Please remove those two from the gym. There are so many people (like me) who wish to meet you for just a split second but will likely never get the chance to.
Judo is judo but bjj is newaza judo
Being taught to BJJ class, not Judo. But actually this "pistol grip" on the opponent's sleeve is permitted if attack is launched is quick succession
This would be a much better video if it weren't for all the background noise. The two jokers in the back of the mat not paying any attention are being even more disrespectful.
Those white belts should be demoted to pink.
Very disrespectful students
Kkk
Faixa branca é um pé no saco mesmo
Kkkkkkkkkk
