I went to high school in the 1970's with a guy that had one of these. I didn't know they were that rare then. I did see anther one in college. Ford spent a bunch of money designing the cylinder heads.
Exactly sir 💯 Ford had big dollar engine programs centered around the 351 small block architecture.....hell, consider the Bill Elliot NASCAR days in which he set huge records with that screaming 351 engine 🏁🏁🏁
I know a bunch of first gen Stang fans don't like these wide body versions, personally I think she is a sexy beast especially with that 4 speed... My goodness. I admit the 71-73 notchbacks left a bland and boring taste but those Fastback models are super fine. If I had a bit of extra cash I would inquire because I live in Arizona and she would not rot... But life goes on.
