"Can you do the thing?"
"No, you know that."
"Pleeeease can you do the thing."
"....Fine."
I love the smell of burnt tires and radiation in the morning lol
Radiation has no taste, no smell, and you can not see it, or feel it.
@@korloq8968 like ur mum

Well it does taste a tad like metal, but only when exposed to possibly lethal amounts of it.
Burt tires?
This car is awesome. Only a few of these engines were made and very few are still around.
There's still quite a few around, but, you're correct - minimum production so as to meet NASCAR homologation requirements at the time (859 built in 1969, 499 in 1970).
I've come across this video on 15 different occasions. I've watched this video 15 times
Got goosebumps when he hammered it...no other sound like it!
well the 429 is a hemi head so thats why

0:50 Gotta love this American Muscle ❤️
Fuck yeah
Australian muscle was even better though, give me a 1973 Ford XB Falcon GT 351 with a 5.8 litre engine. And a lot of flat desert because they don't like corners much.
@@Jacob__ryall No, the Ford Falcon was made by Holden, an Aussie company that was only bought by Ford.
Just as Ford UK and Ford Germany were originally British and German companies until Ford bought them and "rebadged" them.
In fact once Ford owned companies overseas it started to standardise it's catalogue of vehicles and the German catalogue won out over the US one, most of the Ford vehicles on sale in the US today were originally sold in Germany as Opal before Ford bought the rights to them.
Enjoy your new Ford Focus.
I’m a boomer born in 60. I’ve always said we had the baddest cars the best music and the greatest hair.
Someday down the road in my life I would love to own a 1969 Boss 429
As a young man in 1979, I heard this type of sound all the time, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. It made my heart swell to thing this is America , what a country. Mustangs and all muscles cars were only ten years old and a dime a dozen. I wish I knew then what I know now and kept my cars. That Boss 429 is AMERICA !!! 5 star video !!!
jon doe seriously? a straight six lol no
humzilla707 For some people, yea, it does.
humzilla707 It's almost as if different people have different taste, who would've guessed?

you're not lying kid!!
Best part is the kid screaming “Awesoommme” at the end. I miss that feeling.
That is a very responsible driver. He knew the mother and child were behind him as he was about to make the left; he waited several feet so as not to frighten them but still gave that little fella (and the rest of us watching) the show he wanted to see. Good man! And incidentally, that nuclear power station behind them moonlights as a gas station specifically for cool Mustangs.
I watched this the first week it came out and it has now come full circle 10 years later. Still brings a smile to my face to see this car put down those tire marks.
I just watched it for the first time...awesome...it now has over 10 million views.

I love badass Mustangs !
It matters when you first watched it?
Disclaimer:
No crowds were harmed in the filming of this Mustang video.
That IS funny!!!
wow I laughed 10/10 comedy
Making progress, nice!
Disclaimer II: Watchers may cream their undies while watching this video.
Lol right, no one was hearing that ear piercing Boss 429
It's impossible not to chuckle when watching that "Tapping the Gas".
Coolest classic stangs ever. Looks amazing in black.
It's amazing to me what kinda power these things put out, I mean they make not even 500hp look and sound like a BILLION. The way she just gets so rowdy, I mean you can hear how quickly it reacts to that gas pedal, and see it! Awesome. Love watching this video every couple years. Can't wait to see it again.
That car had more than 500....I promise ya
When they sound like they’re popping popcorn it’s usually over 600.
Plus new cars blow, when ever I hear a fast car, I immediately look for the fast looking car going nowhere.
@@hahnsmantra7276 I swear it did.
@@diviningrod2671 to be fair new cars are faster than ever, they are just heavy and boring and too computerized imo. Theres only a few companies left making RWD manual transmission cars.
When i was young, you would hear that Every day and more on friday and sat, nights. ALL painted cars with thier chrome and high lift cams. Oh, take me back!!!
Same here my friend same here! Green, orange, red, blue, yellow. Unlike today silver or white and black.
One of the primary reasons I moved to CA when I was young ..... was hanging out at mom & pop burger places [many of them "islands"] --- loving all the muscle cars arriving, parked outside, and leaving.
@@penboyasgod6103 Amen to that.
Back when the en werds knew their place!
Those were the days.
Man, this is the coolest Mustang ever🔥
Gotta love the cooling towers in the background for the added feeling of "power."
Die hard chevy fan here. But I would trade my chevy for this car. The most beautiful mustang ever built.
You're a Ford fan all along and didn't even know it
I'm a Chevy man too but I'd trade my wife for it.
Well duh the 429 would beat the hell out of a Chevys 427 (which makes me wonder why both Ford and Chevy had a 427🤔)
I like the mustang but, I’m happy with my 454 Chevelle thanks! #AmericanMuscleCars
Then you aint no die hard chevy fan fool 😂
Even though at heart im a Mopar guy, that has too be the hottest and toughest Muscle Car built!!!
The killer Spoiler and louvers dont hurt either but nothing tougher then Black n Chrome...
@@shemsuhornephilim7702 I personally think the spoilers on the 69's looked good on them, reminds me alot of the cuda spoilers
Dodge, Ford and Chevy unite; fighting only pushes us apart
The 429 was no joke, man.
From a Mopar guy? I love the look of the old Mustangs, but I've NEVER seen a more aggressively styled body than the '70 Barracuda......that thing reeked 'YOU WANT SOME?'
Now that's one tough Stang! Best mustang built by far, such a good year.
That was great! Thanks. Brings back lots of fond memories.
i'd never get bored of driving that, would love to hear it in a tunnel :)
Oh yeah! The sound should be crazy!
I had a gang of buddies that all owned muscle cars. We would cruise into parking garages and rev the motors. The roaring noise was amazing.
+Slant Six
Haha, sounds like fun :)
funbus roll down the windows, downshift, and listen.
Isaac Maples hell just sitting at the redlight listening to it idle is badass enough lool
Love the little guy walking behind that loping exhaust of the BOSS 429. He’ll never forget that day and that car. And yes, you could buy that car back in 1969, just like that. To me, it’s the wildest Mustang ever built, period.
That's cars built vs how it came
I grew up in the wrong times I still want a 69 road runner and would of loved to get one right off the lot in the time it came out , also a big g body fan and would love a cutlas Monte Carlo or Malibu 🙌🏼
SWEET MUSIC !!!!!! Beautiful ……❤
I have watched this dozens of times. It's so worth the wait...
The kid shouting "AWESOME" at the end just makes this video 100x better, no matter how many times I replay it. I'm glad that he's excited by beautiful cars and not playing video games all day.
This is a beautiful car. The last all original Boss 429 sold in auction for almost 500k. The average value of the Boss 429 is 289k. With only around 1350 produced, they are one of the highest valued and rarest muscle cars out there. There is no way I could ever own one like that because I would never want to drive it.
If you can afford a $250k plus car you would drive it. Its just money
@@Joetrout Tell that to the people who buy 3.5 million dollar Hyper cars only for them to never see the sun while they sit in a climate controlled tile floor garage lol.
@@Joetrout it's not just money. It's a piece of automotive and American history and as time goes on more will be destroyed. If no one takes care of their 429 eventually there will be none left
@@mustang8206 Yes, it's just money... if you had enough of it you could buy every remaining one. Buy two so you can actually ride one, and the other you can stick in a display case.

Good one.
Now I'm gonna start off by sayin I ain't no Ford lover I'm a Chevy guy!!!
But any car guy can appreciate this!
I am a Ford guy but appreciate a kick ass muscle car when I see one. Got a neighbor with a hell of a nice 69 Chevelle.
This is for Paul rizk Chevys suck
I’m a Mopar guy but I can’t help but to admire this beast!!
"I'm a ford guy"
"I'm a Chevy guy"
Who gives a fuck..I'm a classic car guy, fuck brand loyalty..if it's badass..it's badass.
No kidding. It's like saying "I'm a Pepsi guy but that ice cold bottle of Coke was amazing"
This video never gets old......Priceless!
Wow, what a great car, with a great motor! John P.
0:25 and thats when that little kid in the back started loving cars
This car looks so good its almost unbelievable
It is awesome that the single digit old kid is walking by without taking his eyes off the car. He probably knows absolutely nothing about cars and yet is fascinated all the same.
that lifted truck in the back looks so cool 🔥
