I'm quite surprised to see concrete steps for the whole trail during your hike, and so many people made it to the top. Natural dirt trails are common where I live.

Baizhang of course (this village), Aysajan’s hometown, the village in Yunnan that I taught a 3 week summer camp in (near Lijiang) which was my first time visiting rural China and was a super unique experience, Bagua island in Nanjing in the Yangtze River because I have friends living there and it’s nice to visit them, and Zhagana Tibetan village in Gansu because the scenery is so great 😆

Yes it is, that would be a sight to see if it changed colors like deciduous trees but it does not 😂 it is nice for the mountains to be green and lush all year
I have a cold hardy bamboo in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It can handle up to-32C. Unless there is a freezing rain coating all over the bamboo with ice, otherwise the leaves will survive. The origin of my plant was from a 3000 meters of Tibet mountain.

My typical New Year's Eve celebration is with a usual BBQ with immediate family members, but, as the evening progresses, the number of people usually multiply two-fold as some family members invited their friends over. In earlier times, we would go for a midnight swim in the sea but has not done that for some years now. I personally do not approve of fireworks as it contributes to air pollution and so that activity is kept to the bare minimum at all our functions. Cheers & all the best!
Wow, this clip is confusing for the average people here in the "West" on so many levels: 1) Obviously, it's NOT a crime to be an Uyghur in China! 2) And the guy actually looks happy, in CHINA! 3) @3:25, that kind of road looks like the road I used to jog alongside the East Bank of the Huangpu river in Shanghai while staying at the Mandarin Oriental. Absolutely surprising for me to see it in some rural area, somewhere in China.
I just realize where you live is near 浙西大峡谷; I travelled to that part of Zhejiang as a college student in 2006, a beautiful memory back then with all my classmates; I can only imagine it’s getting prettier now than before; glad you enjoy it too
