who is your favourite artist. ?? learn about their methods?? or just draw.. and keep drawing.. set a small goal like draw a flower for example.. from your head or off a picture.. do one drawing every night for a week.. I started drawing from around age 3 and I still draw something at least 3-4 times a week. PRACTICE.. PRACTICE.. techniques are easy to learn like this guy drawing a circle but coming up with ideas that what divide the armatures from the experts.
Wow bro, did you even notice that the view of the paper is like, 45 degrees? If it was just a drawing of a ball, it would look flat and distorted, he did a really good job of this picture
The point is that it looks like a drawing of a sphere. But if the camera would be filming from the top you would see a very strange long ellipse, not close to a circle.
That is awsome !!! I just started getting into doing Anamorphic art just have a hard time learning how to do it!! what books do you recomend that can show me step by step??Thanks
@sparklebuttons2012 In anamorphic drawings, you can't use a perfect circle. You can't see it from the camera's angle, but it's elongated and widened closer to the drawer.
A lot of people on here think you are just drawing a circle. Would have been awesome if at the very end, you held up the sheet or moved the camera so that people understood the illusion.
Thank you, I've needed this video. The oother way, the one were the person places an eight ball on the paper and then draws a circle, is a WHOLE lot harder. This was simple and easy with basic utinsuls.Once again, thank you.Bravo.Bravo.(this is how i acually type :P O_O" ur vid is awsome and er i liked it lol thanks x3) I'm a dude.Heeheee.LOL
0:38 in this part, maybe you dont have to draw the middle line first but draw the 2 diagonal line first and the middle line after, isn't that way better?
it is because he didnt draw the round shape of the sphere accurately. And he didn't use a dark charcoal pancil for the shadow. It is a really important fact to get darker shadow. At 2:19 you can see the shadow of the real ball is very dark and becomes lighter as it gets far away from the point where the ball touches the surface. But his shadow was too light. Thats why it didn't look realistic.
he drwe an oval... the angle of the camera is slanted thus giving us a view from an angle showing us a circle. If you look at the paper as if it were directly in front of you, the ball would be in the shape of an oval. 3d drawings are stretched out so that when you angle the paper just right, it looks 3d...
You wont need to do the extra measurements if you just film yourself with a webcam and watch your drawing through your live video on screen keeping it as the only reference to give you the perspective. In this way you can draw anything and it wont take years ;)
Well, He's discovered Isometric Perspective--used a lot by Mechanical Drafters--not so much by Artists.... Although I hear that some of the Japanese Artists are starting to use it. Works well with small objects--not so well with landscape-sized subjects. .....RVM45
So ur really hoping to see a realistic circle in 3 minutes ? He is showing the methot, not how to draw an anamorphic realistic circle. by using intersections of lines to find the dots which whom help you build up figures in anamorphic art. Maybe you don't really get how 3d art is made and that's o.k But from how i see it, this video is really helpful. Greetings :D btw sorry if i was rude lol
its not circle... this video is showing us the camera's perpective but its really not circle... if he moved the camera in the different position the drawing will be different
@RedZneger the person is being nice and teaching us how to draw and all you have to say is cut your nails? nice way of getting you to feel better about yourself.
"bad result"!? Did you expect him to draw the best thing you've ever seen? He did exactly what the title promised, and he did it well."how to know without watch it" READ THE TITLE. "Anamorphic 3D means that it looks like 3D while it isn't. Nowhere in the title is it said "The best anamorphic 3D you will ever see". So stop coming here and complain about nonsense.
Well explained, thanks! I had not seen this way of planning an anamorphic drawing before.

great shadow trick... using your hand i never thought of that , Thank you

I wanna fucking cry so much, when this was given to me as a project when I had no experience on drawing.
I like to see 3d Lettering Totorials for you, this is awesome by the way.
Cool vid! But what really got me was this music XD. It's just so happy-like!
The point is that it looks like a drawing of a sphere. But if the camera would be filming from the top you would see a very strange long ellipse, not close to a circle.
That looked real!...cool
That is awsome !!! I just started getting into doing Anamorphic art just have a hard time learning how to do it!! what books do you recomend that can show me step by step??Thanks
really interesting concept! thanks!
that is a very well done drawing
It really looks 3d like in a cartoonish kind of way.

i dont get what your doing with the cube
This gave me a funny joke- getting caught drawing in art class. Lol
Awesome! I wanna try this sometime!
Also, what's the music?
That was amazing bro....
you draw pretty damn fast, pretty nice.
It's pretty cool

Got to try it sometime..

what do you mean by deathbyaccidents method
COULD HAVE BEEN DONE WITH A RULER AND LINES BUT I LIKE IT ALOT
0:38 in this part, maybe you dont have to draw the middle line first but draw the 2 diagonal line first and the middle line after, isn't that way better?
Try doing a jigsaw puzzle in 3D! I would love to see that!!!! :) Thanks!!!!!!!!!
@Theanimatedcow Now that's what I call an idea!
Really amazing. Agata the name of the background music?
it is because he didnt draw the round shape of the sphere accurately. oo what's the soundtrack? sounds good!
Wow great how do you do that ? and how about a Poky ?

the back part of the ball sucks... when you see a shadow its full dark not scribbled in. Just for future reference.
AMAZING!!!
or use a compass?
can you do a hole in the ground? theres one video about it but it's so blurry, even in HD
I just wish I could colour shadows that fast
draw the endless triangle illusion in anamorphic 3D!
pretty nice
He did what the video title said. If you are not happy with his result, then you watched the wrong video.
You wont need to do the extra measurements if you just film yourself with a webcam and watch your drawing through your live video on screen keeping it as the only reference to give you the perspective. In this way you can draw anything and it wont take years ;)
Great hands.
Well done

It is a very good method. I bet if you really spent a lot of time on it, it would look real. Thanks and God Bless!!!!!!!!!!

i think he spent his time better then we did :S
So ur really hoping to see a realistic circle in 3 minutes ?

How You Do That ? Probably it's the only thing about which the INTERNET SEEMS TO BE SILENT......EAGER TO LEARN .Is there any mathematics involved?
2:05 You draw like "Sonny" from I Robot.
MOM, I NEED AN ERASER!!!
that cool!
can i make the circle with a simple compass ?
are you doing this with a miror
why did you say not to measure with a ruler? you did it
Its all about the shading
Are you the one who posts awesome 3d arts on 9gag?
do you do the corners whit a mirror ore just
this picture don't result you because the first picture isn't a circle, but an ellipse. He hasn't draw a square the first time, but a rectangle
Could u plz do a water drop 3d

trurets and drawing.....good idea
its not circle... this video is showing us the camera's perpective but its really not circle... if he moved the camera in the different position the drawing will be different

Great
All that to draw a circle couldn't u use the end a tube of pringles? O.o
cool !
well nice but you need to begin with soft pencil otherwise it will stay on paper like this one and eraser will not help you ....
"bad result"!? Did you expect him to draw the best thing you've ever seen? He did exactly what the title promised, and he did it well."how to know without watch it" READ THE TITLE. "Anamorphic 3D means that it looks like 3D while it isn't.

Why didnt u just use a compass?
Cool thanks
dat ws a gud trick 2 draw 3d..
sdfjh my eyes are stooopid. optical illusions are pure win.
but the circle is not ment to be completely straight
cool !!!
Great :D
I need to learn how to shade well
take a cylinder and draw a circle around it?!
And thats how u make a circle
next time make a 3d drawing of a pyramid
why wouldn't you just use a compass to draw it
what if he is playing guitar?
