There was an issue while recording the podcast on Friday, which meant there were some frame rate issues in the video. Nothing broadcast could do to fix it. It's not a constant issue, but it does persist throughout the video.
AH's new year resolution should be to use facecams for every single video so when something funny happens they have the facecam footage instead of always saying "we should have had facecams" every video.
Seth Baker it sux to hear the face cam thing like alot of GTA videos they mention "this would've been great for face cams" like wtf just do it just in case something good happens
But that's like 5 to 7 more video feeds to not only edit in but also have the video of which is taking up more storage so if they feel like a video won't be worth it to have the facecams on because it'll just be a video that facecams won't improve enough for the effort and space it takes to have the facecams then they won't do it
The subway comment was so real. I work at subway and if the midshift doesn't make enough bread (and they never do) I run out by like eight or nine and my boss won't let me close or do anything so I'm basically just selling soup and salad for two hours.
Emily Martin Not so much anymore. RUclips put all his productions on hold and he was removed from Google's top-tier preferred ad program. www.polygon.com/2018/1/10/16871562/logan-paul-youtube-red-thinning
The entire time Gavin was talking about how he felt after drinking NyQuil and DayQuil and then three espresso shots, I just couldn't stop thinking _"Gavin got high out of his mind, thank god he came to work so now we can all watch him trip."_
Hey little life hack for everyone...The audio version of Off Topic goes up on "Google Play Music" on Saturday...Podcasts are free to listen to on there so if you're a audio listener you can hear it on Saturday :)
I am the type of gamer that marathons most games that they play and I'm a bit of a completionist. So I don't often switch between in rapid succession. That means putting a disc into the drive isn't as big of a chore for me than it might be for some other gamers. On top of all that I like to collect things, so having a physical game collection to be able to look at and remember my experiences in those game makes having the disc worth it for me.
I’m not a completionist but I’m with you on the physical collection to look upon and even if you uninstall the game you can still have the physical case to look at. And I’m old fashioned and love discs
Someone tweet Logan Paul and tell him to watch this video from 2:23:15 to the end please that would be a great way for him to understand just how much he fucked up and how Team 10 fucked up and should disband:)
Jack: "I don't use disks, therefore consoles should no longer have disk drives." That's great for you Jack since you live in a major city with good internet. I live in a small town with decent internet at best. The disk drive has no negative effects on the console, removing it would do more harm than good for the gaming industry as a whole.
Travis Williams a valid point but I'm also in the middle of nowhere with lack luster internet and I haven't used a disc in years. Hulu, Netflix, steam and digital purchases for Xbox live. So I can agree with Jack. Let the digital age reign!
Unless your internet is maxed out at 5mbps you don't get to say it sucks, the majority of people in the world have shit internet like that so we are stuck having to buy games physical because if not then it would take a week for one single game since nearly every single new game is over 20 gigs at least.
I worked customer service at Lowes for a while and one day this man came in FURIOUS at me because we "sent him a green dishwasher when he ordered stainless sleel". Dumb shit didnt remove the plastic covering XD
All this talk about the old Toys R Us procedure of buying video games (I remember buying Spyro the Dragon, with the Spyro bobblehead included, that way), Funcoland, and Electronic Boutique is making feel old AF.
Jacob Manriquez Oh no I understand that completely! I’ve been on and off watching the podcasts sometimes I wish to see what their thoughts were on certain topics. Usually time stamps would help rather then watching countless videos to find something.
After working at subway for 2 years, I can agree they always run out of bread, and to never ever get the tuna. A small cambro of tuna has 20-24 oz of mayo
TheSmosis I work at Subway currently and whenever I have to prep the "seafood" I literally gag. I am in actually shock when people actually eat that stuff
Did anyone notice that the camera man cropped the top of Michaels head while he was complaining about it, that was hilarious I love the crew filming the podcasts.
As someone who worked at a Mcdonald's for two years and had to deal with the machine breaking every night. No it's not because we haven't cleaned it yet. It's not broken either. It's because 50 people come in and order ice creme at the same time and ice creme gets too soft, usually because we have to fill up the machine with more ice milk and it doesn't get a chance to actually freeze. The more you know.
Reece Auston yea seriously, the only thing that can’t be animated is when they’re ending a convo and then segue into another, but when a convo is in full swing on this episode, it’s great
I just want to point out to the guys for their fast food discussion; I actually worked at a Sonic in my town for a year. I was in the kitchen for most of it, but ended up spending about 4 months being trained "up front" (taking orders, making drinks, drive thru, etc). Before I left, I was being set up to be a shift manager. When we have promotions like the lil chickies, we're not told. Corporate sends someone to change our signage and that's all. There would be days when I'd walk in and we'd get orders for 15 corn dogs 5 times in a row, and eventually someone would check our company twitter and say "Oh shit, it's 50 cent corn dog day"
the fact that somebody would pump your gas for you is so foreign to me (from Germany). Even more so, the lid to the gas tank is pretty much always locked and can only be unlocked with the car keys; with some cars you can even only open the outer lid when you open the driver side door. I don't understand why it would be illegal, either.
Most of the people working at gas stations are not high-schoolers... A lot of them are middle-aged - and especially in NJ, lots of them are Sikh or Punjabi.
I was completely unaware this was a thing until they talked about it... Seems very odd to me, considering some of the legal things in the US it's weird that this is illegal
Here in my small town in Canada, we have both self-serve and full service gas stations, and the gas station on the native reserve pumps it for you too. We also tip the person pumping the gas, especially in winter xD My town is also a border town, and a lot of people here will go fill up in the US instead, hahah.
25:50 This will be the death of gaming in certain countries where digital (that requires a credit card) is an impossible leap for some players. Disc should never go away, because a console is primarily for games, which means for kids, young adults and less adults. I honestly do not have a modern (post ps2) because of this, I want to be able to buy physical disks that can be played on the go. Steam is the same, I can't go steam because of a credit card. it's all good on murica, central europ and asia, but there's other markets that credit cards or even the exchange of u$s to their currency is nuts, like, 60 u$s from where I live is today a rich number
The thing is, he did say that the trump admin. made it a level 1 drug. Although, If he was trying to portray the message of it ending the policy he should've said that.
I work at a Panda Express on my college campus and how on Earth do regular Panda Expresses not have sweet and sour chicken? When I started in the fall of 2016 we didn't have it for only two months or something, and now it's a consistent item. We do run out of stuff all the time, though we've never run out of orange chicken. That's also weird to me.
I love how at 31:20 , while Michael is going on about the aspect ratio chopping off the top of the guys head, the cheeky Bastard behind Michael's camera decides to pan down and do the same thing to him
the conversation around 30 minutes reminds me of when i played xbox on a analogue tv with a SCART converter.... then got a 1920 tv and realised there was a compass people were talking about on battlefield.
1:05:54 - "It's like mcdonalds not having burgers" you joke but this has happened to me. I had just gotten off a 9 hour shift at work I was starving and there was a mcdonalds right across the street and I'm like 'perfect, i'll get mcdonalds, i'll go home and passout, sounds great.' so I go up to the drive through give the guy my order, he lets me get all the way through it and then sighs and goes. ' i'm sorry mam but we're out of beef. all we can make is fish and chicken.' and im so angry like who the fuck comes to mcdonalds for a godamn chicken sandwich. i drove off angry and hungry. (as this was the only place to stop and eat for miles). I ended up getting home and eating peanut butter crackers.
I need a full animated adventure for the entire segment surrounding their food specials stories...The sonic one, the panda express one, the McDonalds ones were all so perfect!!!!
Hot Take: I LOVE it when the cast talks politics, particularly Jack's monologues. Whether you agree with them or not, we shouldn't be penalizing them for having serious conversations every now and again, especially seeing as they make the effort to be informed and fact check themselves.
When jack said he asked for a pitcher of water and a straw, it made me laugh. I had a buddy when I was in the army he was stupid drunk and we went to Denny’s. He asked for that exact thing and she brought it to him. I haven’t laughed so god damn hard in ages.
I've been to a Mcdonalds that said they had no ice cream. I also worked at panda. The reason things run out so much, Is because everything is cooked throughout the day. It's not all pre made. It's made in batches between 2 woks. There are at least 12 different food options to mix together which is why sometimes there is an insane wait. Especially depending if your within the inner city where EVERYONE goes there and constantly empties out the batches making it slightly difficult for Cooks to stay ahead of people coming in and what they might be wanting.
McDonald's ice cream machines aren't 'broken', they go into a heat cycle when they are over used like on a hot day when everyone wants ice cream. Design flaw? Yes. McDonald's employees fault? No.
I actually worked at a Mcdoanlds in the DFW area in Texas, and I can tell you this, the menu on the cash machine is COMPLETELY different than the menu, if there’s a new item, you literally have to search for it in the multiple tabs on the screen
Gavin described exactly how I act when I used to smoke pot. But speaking of smoking pot, Colorado has had an increase in DUI's due to people driving under the influence of marijuana. Or so my criminal justice teacher has told me.
this is both true and not true the issue is while obviously driving while stoned is a bad thing and should not be tolerated police haven't been given a true system to test when someone is high like with alcohol where it's just a breathalyzer and boom you know the only test they have right now on hand is a cheek swab test which is EXTREMELY inaccurate because it detects any thc consumed in the past 24 -48 hours so while initial DUI arrests have increased the vast majority of them get turned back over because of inaccurate testing because of the cheek swab tests they really need to figure out a real way to detect THC levels that wouldn't involve like drawing blood
most of those DUI's get overturned because after arrests they have to do bloodwork to confirm if the person was actually high at the time of arrest or not and when it comes back a very large amount of them were not high at the time of arrest just had been high some time in the last day or two before driving
Oh interesting. I did read somewhere that Colorado says that fatal driving incidents haven't risen, so I guess that can be shown as more proof. I agree with AH on getting it legalized because, even though I don't smoke it anymore, I find it kind of strange to not have it legalized, like the money coming in would be good, and it would stop people from going to jail just over pot. On top of that it would stop federal workers who have an illness that can be helped with cannabis from losing their jobs. Even if it's legal in their area since federally it isn't. Btw, is your profile pic a Deathstroke mask?
ya another thing with that is that with high drivers rather than with drunk drivers they tend not to get more aggressively dangerous so fatal driving accidents with stoned drivers are fairly rare because stoned drivers tend to drive much slower than normal and be more paranoid because of the nature of the drug so rather than reckless speeding like drunks tend to lean towards it's more like everyone drives like old people and ya the real thing is the sheer amount of money that is just being thrown down the drain to illegal markets over a pointless war that the government is never going to win on weed is stupid legalize it tax it and fund the government off it also yes
If you can't drive while on cannabis how do you function? I know there's those people out there but I'm like....what, how....my friends and I we would drive while high.
He probably he has dreams where he is drunk or drinking, but I doubt he really day dreams about I should have a drink, because if he did he would probably just have a drink.
Jack Bessant I immediately pictured Freddy K. shoving giant beers down a tied up Geoffs throat. Thank you for this inspiration... This will be the best Rule34 Ah picture EVAR!!
There was an issue while recording the podcast on Friday, which meant there were some frame rate issues in the video. Nothing broadcast could do to fix it. It's not a constant issue, but it does persist throughout the video.
Peter Hayes the man the myth the legend. Keeping people informed on every platform
I laughed. I was like, "Is Jason coming to get them?"
Ah thanks for the info. I was worried it was my computer being weird :D
Thank you for posting this. ❤️

And also get security cameras to record the main room full time when something happens.
53:32, as Gavin drink the coke shot, Michael pours coke into his drink and the sound syncs up perfectly with Gavin drinking
DomSP That's interesting
Fredo check in out
I just realized that
Lmao at Michael literally drooling while talking about food.
"It's just a grappling hook bro." *- Michael Jones 2018*
Ryan already offered to marry Gavin to make him a legal US citizen. Come on Gavin, he'd be a way better husband than Jack.
Raging Irish Irl I feel like Jack would be a great spouse
Also Jack doesn't have kids yet. His divorce would be much easier.
man, poor Meg every time Gavin and marriage is brought up as a serious topic its always him and another guy. Always the bridesmaid.
I mean, he brings it up himself of him getting married to other men.
Team love n stuff?
Is the video choppy for anyone else?
yeah
MeIMe54 Yup...
MeIMe54 yeah Mines stuttery
It's all CG guys, we figured it out
I thought is was just me.
i swear Ryan is cat. Sees something on the table and HAS to knock it off.
Squeaker his ears are under the hat
I really want to see Michael beat the fuck out of Logan Paul
I would not fuck with Michael
you're probably right but I would still love to see Michael cuss him out, the dude doesn't hold back
Michael is a Jersey boy. That pompous pampered princess Paul would get his shit stomped in.
It's not like they have a room full of an array of weapons....
eh logan paul an LA kid and michael grew up in jersey
i'll put my money on the jersey kid everytime
motherfuckers are scrappy
The subway comment was so real. I work at subway and if the midshift doesn't make enough bread (and they never do) I run out by like eight or nine and my boss won't let me close or do anything so I'm basically just selling soup and salad for two hours.

I'm glad AH hates Logan Paul as much as I do
That's the one thing I'll always disagree with Michael on. AH for the most part are good people
Trust me I hate him too, I don't really have much to say but I rather not waist my breath on him

I just realized this July will be Achievement Hunter’s 10 anniversary.
Lord Zanthar Teh Allen more like 9th
Lord Zanthar Teh Allen nvm
Heyo
...theres something wrong that thumbnail
I think Trevor got darker
Seeing Michael's excited ramblings about chicken is heartwarming and relatable
Jack: "I don't use disks, therefore consoles should no longer have disk drives." That's great for you Jack since you live in a major city with good internet. Travis Williams a valid point but I'm also in the middle of nowhere with lack luster internet and I haven't used a disc in years. Hulu, Netflix, steam and digital purchases for Xbox live. So I can agree with Jack. Let the digital age reign!
Actually it would create more space in the console. You can use the extra space for something else or just make the console smaller.

I haven't used a disc in nearly 8 years. I stream/download everything. It would be cool to have a version without a disc drive that was $50 cheaper.
Unless your internet is maxed out at 5mbps you don't get to say it sucks, the majority of people in the world have shit internet like that so we are stuck having to buy games physical because if not then it would take a week for one single game since nearly every single new game is over 20 gigs at least.

As a gas station attendant in New Jersey I can confirm the entire gas station conversation is completely accurate.
It’s super choppy
Michael Recksiedler you using RUclips red on your phone or? If so, you can fix the choppiness by changing the resolution
Same, another top tier editing job.
Damn, it's like I'm watching this on a console
I always watch on my console and It's never choppy.
Put the knife down when you're watching it, then
All this talk about the old Toys R Us procedure of buying video games (I remember buying Spyro the Dragon, with the Spyro bobblehead included, that way), Funcoland, and Electronic Boutique is making feel old AF.
does anyone know which offtopic episode there talking about when Michael runs on stage during filming lazer team
2:31:50 I love how quickly the tables turn and they all jump in the joke
I want a "It's just a grappling hook, bro" shirt with Michael's internet smug bro face on it
I loved how Michael talked about Nintendo and the Gamecube's little discs lol.
*Listens to them rant about people leaving factory stickers on appliances*
Immediately proceeds to remove the stickers off my laptop
Game consoles without a diskdrive. Look where we are now.
53:30 i keep rewatching and pretending that pouring sound is gavin drinking and i can't stop laughing
Where can i see michals walk on, with lazerteam gun ?
😂 Michael explaining the gas guy in NJ made me laugh so hard. How he explained it, is 100% accurate to everything I’ve seen living in NJ for 19 years.
"It just works"
Does Michael also work for Bethesda?
Nah, he's describing King Crimson
Melonbread / メロンパン one of the best comments I’ve seen in a long time. Hats off to you!
i kind of love gavin's mess of hair
I still prefer physical games over digital
I'm a cranky old man
...digital kick the can blows.
Alex H same doode
2:23:00 is the Logan Paul incident
Thank you! Why doesn’t Roosterteeth and Achievement Hunter do time stamps?
TheBigBlueKnight Because they'd probably prefer that you watch the whole vid and not just parts of it?
Red Lantern Reviews exactly lol
Jacob Manriquez Oh no I understand that completely! I’ve been on and off watching the podcasts sometimes I wish to see what their thoughts were on certain topics. Usually time stamps would help rather then watching countless videos to find something.
TheBigBlueKnight yea that would be easier for everyone who wished to see if they ever touched on it or any other topic
31:21 is the cameraman framing out his forehead on purpose here?
Matt Mcginnis yes very much so
Matt Mcginnis Yes
After working at subway for 2 years, I can agree they always run out of bread, and to never ever get the tuna. A small cambro of tuna has 20-24 oz of mayo

Courtney Casey the "lobster" was the worst thing ever
No Jack. The porn industry went with BluRay for the most part. Just like with VHS vs. Betamax, the winner was what they picked.
The Bigbear, that is what i had thought too
Did anyone notice that the camera man cropped the top of Michaels head while he was complaining about it, that was hilarious I love the crew filming the podcasts.
1:11:30 for RTAA
1:15:37 for Michael drooling
If I ever get stoned & drunk, this podcast will be my go to
The whole disk drive thing 4 years later everything being disk drive free
well disk free is optional, but yeah it is funny
Michael talking about people leaving stickers on their windows, i look at my windows and see those same stickers on it >.>
As someone who worked at a Mcdonald's for two years and had to deal with the machine breaking every night. No it's not because we haven't cleaned it yet. It's not broken either. Jack's internal monologue at 46:50: "Why is the rum always gone!"
Almost this whole episode could be animated
Reece Auston yea seriously, the only thing that can’t be animated is when they’re ending a convo and then segue into another, but when a convo is in full swing on this episode, it’s great

Erdnussbuttertoast in America only really high-end cars have locking gas caps, most (99%) have a ratcheting cap that clicks once it's tight

Did Gavin say 'Does wood harder than rock' around 2:05:30

Satan Gunner also with the advent of the passing of net neutrality. Who knows if they start monetising game downloads or online gaming
Satan Gunner Actually that is completely wrong. The average gamer is around 31 years old.
nicholis ling not accurate
2:10:18 Gav got his fly less wish with 2020.
Jeff Sessions did not make it (Weed) a class one drug. That was introduced in the 70's by the Nixon administration.
They never said he did
David Carlson the point they made is more that he ended the Obama era policy of let the states do what they want in regards to weed
The thing is, he did say that the trump admin. made it a level 1 drug. Although, If he was trying to portray the message of it ending the policy he should've said that.
Gavin telling stories of himself messed up on drugs can get me out of even my worst funk.
Omg destroy the table and then have Jeremy on the podcast and pretend it's an intervention for him
Just noticed when Michael is talking about his mom's tv. Broadcast cut off the top of his hair. LOL Good one.
15:00-15:10 glitches. Edit: I retract that statement, there are a ton of video glitches.
Basedstickman fine for me
“Wow thanks for all this water now I’m gonna get tanked” I’ve never related to Michael more than right now 😂
I work at a Panda Express on my college campus and how on Earth do regular Panda Expresses not have sweet and sour chicken? Michael Jones being the only one to get a beer is the reason he's the best.
ah the joys of being mixed race, all sides tell you you're not good enough :(
I love how at 31:20 , while Michael is going on about the aspect ratio chopping off the top of the guys head, the cheeky Bastard behind Michael's camera decides to pan down and do the same thing to him
Jeremy and Geoff have similar swearing patterns. I'm not sure what to do with this information. 😐
SewnHeart have you ever seen them in the same place... exactly
Keep asking questions.
the conversation around 30 minutes reminds me of when i played xbox on a analogue tv with a SCART converter.... then got a 1920 tv and realised there was a compass people were talking about on battlefield.

Mario Kart LP coming out!? Hyyyype.
Raenir Salazar 3 of them
Ryan's reasoning for doing anything is always the best!
Hot Take: I LOVE it when the cast talks politics, particularly Jack's monologues. Whether you agree with them or not, we shouldn't be penalizing them for having serious conversations every now and again, especially seeing as they make the effort to be informed and fact check themselves.
I love how everyone committed to the joke in the thumb nail except Michael.
2:00:00 for the moment you came for
I have a Friend named Mohammed Hamid lol.
When jack said he asked for a pitcher of water and a straw, it made me laugh. I had a buddy when I was in the army he was stupid drunk and we went to Denny’s. He asked for that exact thing and she brought it to him. I haven’t laughed so god damn hard in ages.
If Micheal, Jeremy, and Gavin are The Lads, and Geoff, Ryan, and Jack are The Gents, does that make Trevor, Matt, and Alfredo The Sirs?
I've been to a Mcdonalds that said they had no ice cream. I also worked at panda. The reason things run out so much, Is because everything is cooked throughout the day. It's not all pre made. It's made in batches between 2 woks. There are at least 12 different food options to mix together which is why sometimes there is an insane wait. Especially depending if your within the inner city where EVERYONE goes there and constantly empties out the batches making it slightly difficult for Cooks to stay ahead of people coming in and what they might be wanting.
So judging by the thumbnail they destroyed the table.. acc nah impossible
Every thing Micheal discribed about the buttermilk orgasmic chicken coming back and going away happened at my mcdonals's in Naples FL
I was spreading mayo on my sandwich when they started talking about the Porno Theatre. I couldn't eat that sandwich...
"If it's a guy wearing a turban, he's definitely there to pump your gas" 😂😂😂
McDonald's ice cream machines aren't 'broken', they go into a heat cycle when they are over used like on a hot day when everyone wants ice cream. Design flaw? Yes. McDonald's employees fault? No.
cassy1511 I’ve never been to a McDonald’s with a broken ice cream machine when I try to get ice cream
Having been a McDonald’s employee, people who didn’t want to work as hard totally just said it was broken, but it also broke plenty in the summer
I am also a former employee, that's why I know.
cassy1511 that might be true for some but mine is just 100% broken.
2:23:00 is probably the start of the best of 2018 Compilation in December.
They should have CowChop on the episode they destroy it..Just too make sure it gets destroyed
I'd rather it be funny, though
Gabe Puratekuta cow chop is hilarious what are you smoking?

I need to mention the face Alfredo makes at the very end of the video. He had me dying!
Gavin’s hair is wild today
"Sitting in glue, looking through clouds" you high Gavin? 8:05
Looks like Monika was messing with the video archive
"Fuckhead-McStain-shit" is probably my favorite nickname ever
Damn, I forget that other states allow you to pump your gas. What a strange practice we in NJ have.
Btw, is your profile pic a Deathstroke mask?
ya another thing with that is that with high drivers rather than with drunk drivers they tend not to get more aggressively dangerous so fatal driving accidents with stoned drivers are fairly rare because stoned drivers tend to drive much slower than normal and be more paranoid because of the nature of the drug so rather than reckless speeding like drunks tend to lean towards it's more like everyone drives like old people
and ya the real thing is the sheer amount of money that is just being thrown down the drain to illegal markets over a pointless war that the government is never going to win on weed is stupid
legalize it tax it and fund the government off it
also yes
If you can't drive while on cannabis how do you function? I know there's those people out there but I'm like....what, how....my friends and I we would drive while high.
21:31 it was at this moment, ghost hunter Jeremy was born.
Do you think that Geoff dreams about being drunk 😂
Jack Bessant Honestly probably not
He probably he has dreams where he is drunk or drinking, but I doubt he really day dreams about I should have a drink, because if he did he would probably just have a drink.
Jack Bessant I immediately pictured Freddy K. shoving giant beers down a tied up Geoffs throat. Thank you for this inspiration... This will be the best Rule34 Ah picture EVAR!!
kronicOverseer Haha sweet 😂
probably dreams about being married
Ryan is thinking of OmniMax screens when he is talking about the “bubble” IMAX screens.
2:26:47 Preach, Michael!
Sooner or later Iris will become the new Millie
