Nah, not affordable at all especially when rent is the same price. A 1k car payment is way out of most people's budget. Let's be honest, if you weren't living with your parents there's no way you'd be able to afford a supra. I make great money, have the ability to get a supra but refuse insane car payments. Basically working for your car than for yourself. I used to live in the Bay Area while working at Tesla, my rent each month was 2k without anything else. Don't live there anymore and back in my hometown of Detroit, more than half the cost of the Bay Area and a supra would still be too expensive ..atleast how I look at it. Doing things on your own is a major game changer without factors like marriage, kids, other loans/debts etc. Trust me if my parents allowed me to live in their house id be able to get a specd out G80 M3 comp easily lol Not knocking you just adding big factors that MOST other people deal with. Sick ass supra nonetheless and congrats. Keep building that credit portfolio breh.

You gave the most realistic and humble down to earth answer. And the fact that you can see the other side of the $700 to $1000 car payments speaks volumes to your maturity. Most Americans are underwater on overall. Good on you for getting out the automotive rat race.

@@BentoRunner appreciate it man. I've struggled my entire life but extremely persistent in my goals. Meaning I'll work twice as hard for things that most people can do in half the time by they have help while I have myself..no biggie I'll eventually get there. I've managed to reach every dream goal I ever wanted in life due to being simple, living within my means and thinking every thing through to the finest detail. I drive answeet 3 series bmw that cost me $2500 and I do every bit of maintenance on it myself n like I do every other car I've owned in my IG page. I'd love a sick supra or new car but I refuse to shell our thousands each month or per year to look cool for people idgaf for. Currently looking at an e63 m6 with a tight budget of 15kish. I've found 3 sweet deals that I can afford but I go back n fourth on it. My living expenses are extremely cheap, no kids, no loans, no mortgage etc. I'm debt free so I can do anything I want but still ponder expenses like I have no money even though I get paid very well. But good on this kid for achieving his dream car that's not easy.

That’s facts, it’s all debt, & living with parents is the only reason they even have them, but that’s why come their 30’s or late 20’s their forced to downgrade, cause life hits em either with being forced to move out etc, they have no assets, not saying this guy specifically I’m saying that’s the common pattern I’ve seen, financial illiteracy

@@_chasebanz Young guys are often short sighted. And it doesn’t help that when you are young every guy has innate urge to show arrange themselves with their peers on the pecking order. So you have rat race for cars. Nothing else matters except if your car can gap another guys car. Thats what makes these guys sleep at night lol. I’m in a super fast car but one day I will. But I made a choice to get a house first.

50-60k is down payment for home. Don’t buy this car unless you are making six figures and already have a home retirement emergency fund

Shouldn't we be asking your parents for tips? Not knocking you but if you are living with your parents this is hardly a how-to video. I make more than 95% of my neighborhood but I also pay for 100% of everything. If i lived with my folks I could afford at least 2 or 3 G80 comps per month lmfao. Sick Supra though you got taste which I do admire.
