I believe this WD 1 was has the best underrated revenge story. Granted they toned down the visuals but story wise it was really good revenge story. Not comparing with movies. Only games.

But the problem with that is that you'd need a new story, you can't just slap a bunch of chase missions back to back and expect people to be okay with it. And before you say "Well just re-involve [character name here]" you can't do that because everyone is either dead or moved away, with the exception of Jordi if I remember correctly. Face it, Aiden's story is over and the new leaf was needed.

He uses the CTOS to control everything and uses that almost godly power to exact what he thinks true justice looks like, not giving a damm for those who have to be hurt or killed in the process for justice being served (I don't look back, I look forward ect. Re-watch the ending mission and speech and you will see what I mean). A murderer who justifies his actions as being for the greater good (very similar to Blume), let loose after burning one of the biggest criminal organisation in the watch dogs world to the ground. That sounds like a really good template for another Aiden Pearce story. So much you can do with that.
Clara's theme was cool too on that last scene and we will ever see her. For some reason Clara's theme made me like her as a character even more but than fuch good night. :( Her story was sad 8( in my opinion but a lot of people thing differently from that character.
I replayed this mission recently. Just escaped the auction by the skin of my teeth. Sitting in traffic, evaluating next steps. Music kicks in. Aiden gets a text. "I'm scared. There's men with guns here." Never pulked a U turn so fast in my life. Slam on the gas. "Hide, Jacks. I'm coming."
I figured out how to trigger the John wick take downs everytime. Just make sure the enemy sees you and knows you're there and then melee with whatever gun you want. I also redid my skills so I don't have stealth sprint upgrade making me more easy to detect and no disable reinforcement bcuz battles don't last long enough as it is with this setup you'll have the most fun. I also left out the entire steady aim tree and play on realistic difficulty bcuz I'm crazy

perfect soundtrack for a hacker vs hacker battle...i enjoyed the last part where damien felt really only like i was dealing with a crippled hacker who was slowly crippling the city...never realized how a revenge story turned aiden into a anti hero vigilante while simultaneously managing to save a city ...pearce's transition from being a criminal to becoming ubisoft's original punisher is just good. Most people find aiden's monologuing bugging ..but I actually liked his monologuing as it gave a first person perspective as to how aiden felt and how his character was slowly developing for the final dash where he accepts his role as a vigilante... also to anyone who hasn't played this game...just get it for the blackouts..that has to be one of the best superpowers in video games..the aesthetic of the blackout just kills it..

Started playing the game last week and I'm about to finish it today. I've played watch dogs 2 already and I dont really know which one I prefer yet but both of them are great games and I had fun playing them both.
I love watch dogs 1 the most. Broken game but the story atmosphere and the action is so fun and way more better in my opinion than the others. I still replaying the game to this day. I love it so much.

I wish WD2 and probably Legion as well, would had been like in WD1. Hackergroup are just by the side and the world of the fixers would be the main story. Just me thinking its actually similiar to an Hitman but also John Wick universe?

The sure way to tell when someone does this though is that usually the music will go quiet at certain times when there is supposed to be dialogue.
It's what I'm good at =P If you check on my channel (not trying to promote, just love for the music) I've been extracting the watch dogs music directly from the data files of the game and piecing them together, which is a heavy task in its own that requires paying attention to fine details in the audio, since every song is split into multiple files. It's a crazy process =P

both of the "save jackson" missions were amazing, god i miss watch dogs 1.
