Shame you missed the return, but probably a wise choice to get home earlier, than stay out in the heat. Let's hope they don't impose a steam ban, if it stays hot and dry
I don't like the heat Phil and hardly slept the last couple of nights so was feeling tired and had a headache. If I had stayed I would of had an hour to wait for a bus from town and not been home until around 8:30 instead of 6:30. Still had a good day out though, better than staying home. Hopefully there will not be a steam ban with a few steam charters coming up.
@@cedarcam definitely better than staying at home! The heat? I work outside all day in it! It can get abit too much, but better than working in the rain!!
I heard they did not arrive in Scarborough until late because of the unit failure blocking the platform needed for the Black 5. Not heard about the nameplate fitting so I have no idea what thats about either

Delayed because of a TPE. Of course 47815 now having 500s nameplates. Not sure why they fitted them so far up
