10:25 bit too much throttle start with wheel slip but an excellent recovery he made. Was hoping id sometime get see them hand turning that table. Awesome video my friend! ❤👍😎
Thanks Dave Yes I was not expecting a slip with one of these starting with one coach. Not on a steep grade there either. The guy near the cam was going like fury on the crank at first, should of gone more steady really most times hey have a couple cranking and more pushing it.
Thank you Mal. I don't know why they did not steam haul the return at least part of the way back seeing as the loco was going South light engine. Really hope the new meds they are trying work for you and you are soon home again Hopefully in time for Christmas
Thank you Geo. I am wondering that myself The only thing I can think is the BR totem got damaged or defaced either by foliage which has got so bad now there are places trees are scraping along the side of trains or, and I hope not, it was defaced by vandals somewhere.
@@cedarcam Thanks my friend and good logic, but the blanked out patch is on the offside? Had it been of the opposite side that would have made sense. Appreciate your reply🤔
So it's you. One of those on York webcam watching the 225 hoot and depart. We watch it at lumo times mostly and see several on the platforms around 1202!
LOL Yea I was there last week as well. I look in on Railcam most days to see the 91, with steam to see this day I had a trip out to see that and the 91 in real. Always good to see.
Hopefully you will be able to see another that comes. I was told there is one next week. I was only on the cam end a short time with the express blocking the view and the loco not going back past the cam this time

Lovely footage and nicely captured.
One question - any ideas why the tender side BR motif is blanked out?
My question too . . .

@@rogerwatt8491 I don't know why they painted over the side of the tender. I can only think it was damaged or defaced in some way.

@@cedarcam Yes maybe and hopefully not vandalism - I shudder to think🫣

just missed it today. I tuned in about 10 minutes too late. I thought I saw some train spotters on a platform there at York.

Very cool 🎄
Thank you We are so lucky here we have so many steam locomotives that can run on our main lines.
