Just like, nobody is bringing in any damage done to Errol by the car-crash after beating Danny and Ugas. I think I've personally had the most respect for Brook more than anyone. Still to this day I always believed he was the next best fighter behind Spence and Crawford, better than Pacquiao, Thurman, and even Ennis. As a Crawford fan I was always the most scared to death of Crawford fighting Brook and even after that fight I still think Brook is the next best fighter. His judgement on who's good or not is about as rock solid as it gets especially since he's been in there with the best guys. Nothing but respect for Brook.
Before the GGG fight i think he was probably the best WW at the time. then GGG fight hurt his eye and cut weight back down so quick to fight Errol.

Spence has beaten Porter before Crawford did, Brook before Crawford did, he beat Garcia, he beat Ugas when Ugas was on good form after Pacquiao win. Crawford has fought guys past their best, he was the man at 140 but at 147 still not done much in reality in terms of fighting top guys at their best, no doubt he’s great but this is his first real fight at 147 Brook was so dead at the weight it was unbelievable
Brook is so good of a fighter that I'd pick him to beat Thurman, Pacquiao, and Ennis if they ever faced him. Dude is no joke level of good. Might be the most underrated welterweight of his era.

I am sure it helped that just months before GGG shattered his face, he had surgery, put in for a medical extension that was denied then drained down 2 weight classes. Of course that part of his face was weak and would easily break again. Interesting it took Spence 11 rounds to do it.
