  • This is the final video in my series showing an LTC run of Fire Emblem Three Houses Maddening Classic for the Silver Snow route. (Chapter 21 is the Endgame map for Silver Snow.) After the map is completed, I also let the turn counts scroll for reference. Note that this is just the raw recording with no commentary. The rules for this run were:
    Maddening/Classic
    Standard New Game (No NG+)
    LTC (Low Turn Count, not necessarily Lowest Turn Count)
    No player unit deaths (even during the mock battles)
    No DLC/Amiibo/Online
    No Auxiliary Battles except the forced one in Chapter 2
    Must do all Paralogues and Quest Battles
    A couple notes on Chapter 21 (Endgame):
    Cooking effect was +3 STR, +2 SPD, +2 DEF, +2 DEX, and +1 all other stats
    Since this is the last battle of the game, I take the time to show all of my units' final stats for reference at the start of the map
    Regarding how I trained my units, I'm overall satisfied with the outcome of everyone other than Shamir; training her so heavily in Riding wound up being useless since I never was able to get her to Lv30 for Bow Knight; she probably would have done a bit better if I'd invested that skill EXP into Axes for Brigand (for Death Blow) and possibly for Wyvern (upgrade over Pegasus when she needed Flying utility)
    The initial two attacks my units make against the boss are just to force her to change into her "true form" so I can start working on beating the "real final boss" with everyone else (mainly Byleth)
    Byleth is deployed as a Swordmaster for the innate Sword Crit +10 (otherwise, I prefer Enlightened One for generally better stats and better movement); although Byleth's damage output is very high, she'll still need a bit of RNG on her side if she wants to overcome the final boss (who is ridiculously bulky and has Miracle for her last 3 HP bars)
    The scrolling turn counts add up to 129 Turns, but they do not show the Forced Auxiliary Battle (which took 5 Turns) or the Quest Battles (which together took 23 Turns); thus, the final combined turn count is actually 157 Turns
    I'm sure this turn count can be greatly improved upon (I've already mentioned a lot of areas of improvement over the course of these videos, and there are sure to be more that I'm not aware of), but I'm happy with how the run turned out and am glad to have finally completed my first LTC of a Fire Emblem game
    This was a long journey, but I'm grateful to everyone who stuck around to watch all the videos! Hopefully you enjoyed seeing them as much as I enjoyed recording them. Thanks for watching!

    • @CyclonSilver
      @CyclonSilver 4 года назад +11

      Lys didn't avoid it, she KOed a lifebar, so Rhea didn't counter. Plus Rhea activated Miracle 2/3 times with 51 lck, which isn't crazy but still slightly unlucky, and Byleth having a >25% crit rate, on average she should crit once per quad. Here she crit 5 times out of 14 attacks, which is above average but not to a crazy extent. Also they didn't even use Seteth.
      Honestly it's a clean clear. Byleth's stats are definitely very high though.

      @@5percenter1 Not impossible, though usually this kind of numbers is a result of farming stat boosters at the greenhouse throughout the entire game and funneling them all into a single character.

    This is amazing! really enjoyed it. Is there a reason you went pegasus knight/falcon knight on bernie rather than cav/paladin path? I thought for vengeance bernie or bernie in general, the paladin end class is the best overall from what I've read online. Thank you in advance!

    • @Consoler_R
      @Consoler_R  4 года назад +5

      Thank you!
      Regarding Bernie's class, I prioritized Bernie being a Flier since Fliers are so good in Three Houses (like they are in pretty much every Fire Emblem) and since Three Houses has a lot of terrain that slows down cavalry units (like stairs or wasteland tiles). In an LTC setting, even a single extra point of movement can make a huge difference on how fast you clear a map, so you don't want terrain to hinder your movement when possible.
      Also, Paladin only gives +1 STR over Falcon Knight, and since both have Lancefaire, I'd say that Falcon Knight is the far superior choice when available.
      For the middle of the campaign (when advanced classes are available but master classes are not), it would have been ideal to have Bernie certify for Paladin so she could switch between Pegasus and Paladin freely as needed. Unfortunately, I didn't find time to train Bernie's Riding enough since I focused on Axes (for Brigand and Death Blow) and Swords (to get 100% pass rate on Falcon Knight). If I ever did the run over again, I'm sure there's probably a way to optimize Bernie's training so you can accomplish all of this without having to make sacrifices like I did, though!

    • @Consoler_R

      I know, but this particular run was an LTC (Low Turn Count) challenge run. Routing every map would take way too many extra turns, and the extra EXP isn't necessary anyway.

    Is brawler Felix viewed better than sniper Felix?

    • @Consoler_R
      @Consoler_R  3 года назад

      Sorry for the late reply, not sure how I missed your comment. But better late than never I guess. For Felix, I would say it depends on the context of your run. For example, outside of LTC, Grappler Felix can deal an insane amount of damage thanks to innate brave effect and the high chance of a Crest proc for each of the four attacks, along with Felix having such high STR growth. Sniper in general is probably the better class thanks to Hunters Volley though. In my LTC here, since I only had so much EXP to distribute and since I never really needed Felix much, I just went with Grappler for better mobility and easier certification.

    I think that marriane dancing isn't a good choice even though she is a good dancer you lose on alot having her be a dancer ashe is a much better dancer because he isn't good at combat but has physic and rallies making ashe a great dancer

    • @Consoler_R
      @Consoler_R  3 года назад +5

      Marianne's role as a dancer has pros and cons, but regarding Ashe, it's worth pointing out that he isn't a great choice for Silver Snow since he is absent for Chapters 13, 14, and 15 on that route.
