- Brian SHAW came to London in 2011 and bamboozled the crowd in an awe inspiring performance - including a Max Deadlift World Record.
A few months later he would win his 1st World's Strongest Man title in North Carolina, USA.
It could be argued that 2011 saw Big Brian at his PEAK as he also won the Arnold Strongman Classic for the 1st time in Colombus, Ohio.

I fully believe Brian could have broken the 500 kg barrier before Eddie if he dedicated himself to going after the record
Honestly I think if Eddie had failed at 500kg he would have died trying to do it by getting even bigger. Doing the 500kg probably save his life.
@@Kaynos people still don't realise had Eddie carried on Strongman he would have died going into 2017 WSM he had a heart issue
And improved his technique, because it was awful

There was a one time where Brian's pressing was good (which he is never good at usually). And one of them was at 2011 at his peak. That axle and circus dumbell press was awesome from him

Current format doesn’t suit him cause most of the events are time dependent

23:08 the physique difference between loz and brians shoulders is insane and loz trounced him ,ive met loz and i know its a cliche when people say Brian is ridiculous but this really does show it ....loz is a big muscular guy ,yet he looks like a kid wearing his dads top next to Brian 😂😂

What happened to all the strongman training videos. I used to always have a fresh one from either Eddie,Brian,Martins,ect. Its like no one is uploading anything anymore

Felix wears a lift shirt during the deadlift, doesn't he? Doesn't that make the lift easier? If so, why don't the others wear one too?
Some don’t like the feel and others just wear it under the shirt so you can’t tell they’re wearing it. Another reason could be this is an old contest and the usage wasn’t as widespread
