Nice tweaks, but the 'automatic' height reduction when coming to a stop shouldn't require a button press and should work both front and rear. The TFT needs to boot up much quicker, and the keyfob needs to talk to the ECU/ignition much more reliably. And where is the active cruise control deal breaker? The Tiger could be the best in class but still needs a few more tweaks to catch up the '24 GS and MTS V4S, then surpass them with longer service intervals and solid shaft drive, etc.
Triumph missed the opportunity to upgrade the SW for tft dashboard to redesign the layout to have more or customized info on basic screen, also turn-by-turn nav sucks with mytriumph app, phone screen share would be ideal. I would love to have improved low beam light as current is very weak 👎 They should solve the buffeting/turbulence on helmet at higher speeds. Anti-stall system should be improved (revs go up&down when slowing with engaged clutch). And most dangerous are those unexpected and random engine cut-offs when slowing down with engaged clutch. I expect the engine SW updates also for 22/23 models to eliminate this issue dear TRIUMPH!!!
If your bike is randomly stalling, take it to the dealer. Mine did that once and it was quickly fixed with a firmware update about a year ago. No issues with buffeting with my bike. I agree with you on the turn by turn navigation though. It's very basic. Only good for city navigation.
is there any improvement in shaft feeling and working. because in the last version, there was a clunk feeling and sound when you throttle off-on, especially in city riding.
Love these bikes, I have 2 Tiger 800's, just cant understand why anyone would want to take a bike that big off road.. how many are Triumph expecting to sell in comparison to the 900's?
Agree completely. I have a Big Cat and will go "off-pavement" but not full off-road. Neither the bike not I have the right specs for that. But I have found it VERY capable for the Touring/Sport-tour genre. Comfortable ergos, plenty of go-go, reasonable mpg, etc. (and they're not common, so you get some looks!) I don't need all the fancy/useless tech, however. ABS is a must, as are heated grips and cruise control for long portions on the slab but the rest is just fluff to me. If you need radar and/or having the bike manage all of your inputs, my suggestion would be to get better training and then practice! It's a SPORT, ffs! Not a hobby. Honor the craft.
Come on Triumph. Black and white colour options in one model is just going backwards. You have the red but drop the white for a nice metallic blue or green.
Is the engine still blasting/blowing so much heath on your legs in summer? I sold my 2022 model because of this. Impossible to ride the bike without burning your skin.
Seriously, truimph, you need to do a Bonneville retro tourer based on the scrambler with higher horspower and torque that would sell to lots of people, and you need to increase the HP of the Tiger 1200 to compete with the new BMW M1000XR and Ducati Multistrada V4RS

these improvements should have already come as standard on the 2022 models, for this reason you are forced to always chase the competitors. In terms of electronics you are behind Honda, KTM, BMW and Ducati where it is possible to adjust on multiple levels. Handling may be improved compared to previous generations but the new tiger remains the slowest in tight mixed terrain. I had the tiger1200 rally pro and I resold it out of desperation, too many electrical and mechanical problems, terrible clutch and anti-stall, the engine is useless and not very usable because it is weak at low rpm and the torque arrives after 7000 rpm /min. Try all the competitors and you will realize how much the Tiger sucks, for me it is the worst in the segment.
Torque arrives after 7000rpm? You must be talking about another bike, cause 65lb-ft to the wheel @3000rpm feels just fine. That's more torque at low rpms than the Africa Twin and Multi V4
@@NicePantsLance Africa twin has 107 nm of torque but arrives at 5500 rpm, Ducati has 125 nm of torque which arrives at 8750 rpm. However, you forget that they are about 10-12 kg lighter than the tiger1200 and while doing the test rides I realized that they have better acceleration. The tiger1200 then, with the double bevel gear pair, loses power in terms of horsepower and torque, in fact the declared data is for the crankshaft, not the wheel. I now own a KTM 1290 SAS MY 2022 and I assure you that it is better than the Tiger1200 in every way, especially on mountain passes where low and medium revs are mostly used and the easy handling combined with the lower center of gravity of the petrol tank make it extremely fun and effective. , the tiger1200 is light years behind.
@@NicePantsLance I'll list all the defects of the 1200 rally pro: Engine weak at low revs and not very usable, anti-stall dangerous when driving, terrible clutch attack, engine shutting down when downshifting using the clutch, delay in throttle response, passenger seat too high compared to the rider which influences the dynamics driving, on-off effect too marked and annoying when driving in the city or with a passenger, noisy cardan during acceleration, delay in the TFT graphics with little information, navigation in the submenus too complicated due to lack of "shortcut" buttons, turn by turn navigation useless and unusable due to continuous disconnection of the phone from the application, lack of fork anti-dive, lack of front radar, no possibility of setting engine braking, anti-wheelie, ABS and traction control on multiple levels.
