He can't handle his emotions, on a daily, nor can be handle being wrong so he would rather place blame on whoever is nearby so that he can get some of the heat, guilt, and confusion attached to it, off of him and onto someone else.
These two are the reason I stopped watching the show. The producers are matching people for drama. Paige put her trust in them and was subjected to narcissistic abuse. The producers knew about his narcissism and about her dependency.
Not just the producers but I started to wonder if the pastor had some bias because Chris is a "God fearing man" and his father is a pastor too. Especially after that first conversation they had on camera where the pastor reassured Chris he wasn't moving on too quickly 🙄

Im gonna say it. There's no way that she could communicate with him that would have made him reasonable with her. Ive experienced it. When a certain type of man doesnt find you attractive the only style of communication they will give you is constant gas lighting and attacks. They will be nice when you give them something, but they dont value you or see you as human so you wont get basic decency. Its a harsh reality. It happens in many settings even when there is no romantic involvement either. The same way some women wont even bat an eyelash at men with low or no money. Some men just wont see you as a person if you're not what they find attractive.

Both of his exes are black. Somehow these sorts of narratives just get spread like wildfire. The whole “black women aren’t attractive partners” just seems to spread whether it’s true or not, and sadly, by fellow black women.
@@thebookofgenises his exes being Black does not cancel out colorism though. Colorism is about preference for lighter skin tones over darker skin tones. So he could have Black exes all day and still be colorist as hell.
So he slept with her and then told her that he doesn't find her attractive? If this is a case of so called "post-nut clarity", that's still kinda hurtful thing to say 🤷
Paige deserves someone better than Chris. I saw a video about that pairing from a black female RUclipsr and that video showed a clip of one of the black matchmakers stating that he was against that pairing but got overruled by the white matchmakers who thought they were a good match. (Why am I not surprised?) If they are going to be making a show about matchmaking, they need to make sure they have a diverse group of matchmakers as well, not just a diverse group of contestants.
Dr. Honda, you're not gonna understand alot of things with them 🤣🤣 but either way, I'll elaborate a bit without giving much info. He's upset because of two reasons: 1) He wants to put up a front that everything is "perfect" and they couldn't possibly be having problems already or if they did, it couldn't possibly be his fault. He wants everyone to think he has everything together. The fact that she went and talked to his family, and they came and talked to him, made him feel like he was being chastised and he was a disappointment to them. He can't handle that kind of pressure or the feelings attached to it, so he would put the issue on her instead of seeing the whole picture and acknowledging his fault in it. 2) Chris does NOT want anyone to know he's having sex with Paige because he does not want it to get back to his ex. His family is still in contact with her and that could lead to issue down the line.
Chris is a textbook time waster. To me, he only wanted to string Paige along until he could either get his ex back or he could find someone else that he found more attractive. People that like to play games like this know exactly what to say and do to keep the other person invested just enough to keep them on the hook, but they will never fully invest in the relationship or try to actually improve the relationship.
At this point I was thinking that he was confused about his emotion. He was having anxiety and tried to blame his lack of attraction while the true problem is the anxiety and he did not know what was causing it
Apparently, there is alot of behind the scenes stuff that doesn't put Paige in a good light. Supposedly, Paige had an out early on in the show, but because if you end it early your check is smaller she continued on because of that and asked Chris for come back and participate in the show. So, alot of it was just acting posturing for the camera. That's why you kept seeing Paige and Chris come back.
First he's demanding her not to talk about their sex life to anyone, I'm guessing next it'll be not to talk about their fights to anyone, etc, etc, until she can't talk about anything regarding their relationship to anyone...I haven't seen this show but I know this type of partner. I hope she ran far far away from him...
Can you PLEASE react to Michaela and Zack, MAFS season 13!! Michaela goes 0 to 100 a lot like someone I know and I think it would help me understand more!! Thank you
It's funny because i watched your reactions to thus years ago, but had never watched the season. I'm now watching the season but forgot about this, so started having some de ja vu. But anyway your commentary on how Chris told her bridesmaids he wasn't attracted to her comes across differently to me. You said he said she's not his type, when in fact he never said that once, but i kept WISHING he would. It would be a lot kinder than what he did repeat over and over, which was "she's beautiful... In her own way." 😐
The way Chris communicates, speaks, phrases his sentences is really uncomfortable? I got the impression that he loads his sentences with complicated words so that his meaning gets lost. Like if we broke down what he was really trying to say in simplest terms he was either saying something offensive/mean (but is buried under words), or is saying nothing at all. It's hard to describe, the way he speaks makes me uncomfortable.
I think he's afraid she won't like him, so he wants to make sure that it's not "her not liking him" but the other way around. He doesn't want to get rejected, that's why he rejects her.
I just have to say this…it was awkward to me that she spoke to his parents about this. I felt like it was inappropriate too so I’m on his side with this. How uncomfortable to be confronted by your father about your sex life.
I wonder if he felt pressured to have sex with her because of gender role expectations. I can imagine feeling very distressed after having a sexual encounter with someone I don’t have chemistry with. If we tell men that they have to want sex because you’re not a man if you don’t is soooo detrimental to boys and men. I have no idea obviously, but if there are grounds to include narcissistic disorder in a differential diagnosis way then I can see that playing a role in the situation they experienced

@@starzzzy22 i completely agree. I believe his is colorist and featurist. I was just correcting them about him not dating black women.
I've been waiting for another Chris and Paige episode!
When he said narcissist I knew he meant Chris right away I knew this is Chris
Ouu I was waiting for this toxicity, thanks Dr Honda!
Please watch Bao and Jonny on this new season of Married at First Sight, that way you can watch with us. I’d love your insight!
And/or Mikayla & Zach
Johnny is so gross
So excited for this video.
"Yes he was driving a Honda."
Finally!!! I thought you quit
Oh Dr Honda I can't believe they subjected you to this 🤦🏾♀️
Lord i hope Chris don't NEVER find this video...we will never hear the end of it. sigh.
Everyone should study narcissistic abuse. So we can spot the narcissist a mile away
Oooh I’m excited for this one!
So he slept with her and then told her that he doesn't find her attractive? If this is a case of so called "post-nut clarity", that's still kinda hurtful thing to say 🤷
But then he did it again in the morning. He finds her attractive he just doesn't think that she's cute enough to tell his friends about 😒
@@anarchist_parable nah men will have sex with anything. The person does not have to be attractive.
I just snorted extremely hard. I never heard a name for this type of thing. Love it.
Culture training was needed heat for aure
this is the second video? Where is the 1st one for them.... did I miss it? lol
He did it 1 to 2 months ago
Dr. Honda, you're not gonna understand alot of things with them 🤣🤣 but either way, I'll elaborate a bit without giving much info. He's upset because of two reasons:
1) He wants to put up a front that everything is "perfect" and they couldn't possibly be having problems already or if they did, it couldn't possibly be his fault.
Oh, Dr. Honda, just wait. There's so much more to his panic attack. This guy needs major help!
Where is the #1? I cannot find it on your channel!
I can see it in previous videos! It is named in the same way as this one is, but it was posted 2 months ago, so you do have to scroll pretty far back.
@@ninajerala2440 ah, okay, I will scroll for it -- thanks!
Yeah I was like "this is #2???... where's 1? I just typed it in and it popped up
@@legzfalloffgirl5148 I just found it and it looks like I watched it??? well, rewatch time it is
@@jadwiga8759 I thought I forgot about ep1... turns out I blocked it out to protect from the cringe 😬 😩😩
I know what you mean about his awkwardness. He reminds me of one of my exes who was super awkward and disconnected
I’ve too girl
Oh, just wait, your data is coming...
I’ve been waiting!!
I thought you gave up on this series Dr. H.
She’s so beautiful he’s blind obviously
At this point I was thinking that he was confused about his emotion. He was having anxiety and tried to blame his lack of attraction while the true problem is the anxiety and he did not know what was causing it
Apparently, there is alot of behind the scenes stuff that doesn't put Paige in a good light.
Supposedly, Paige had an out early on in the show, but because if you end it early your check is smaller she continued on because of that and asked Chris for come back and participate in the show.
So, alot of it was just acting posturing for the camera. That's why you kept seeing Paige and Chris come back.
THANK YOU.... now let me actually watch, lol.
Man… hearing your thoughts on narcissism is so interesting. Makes me want to hold my babies even closer!
As someone who’s seen this whole season, Chris’ problem was simple, he thought Paige was ugly.
@Silver Sun Chiiiiiiiiiiild 😩😣 you are in for it with this one. She didn’t get away at all.
@@allthatsheiz 😞Poor her.
Welcome to dating in Atlanta !!
Where do I find #1?
you're being too nice to Chris ! he is a terrible narcistic, liar who uses colorism to denigrate Paige
This guy is a walking red flag 🚩. How did he get on the show
More Chris and Paige videos please!!!
When is the next reaction to Chris and Paige coming?
In her own way." 😐
Whew! I was waiting for u to sink ur teeth into this mess of a "marriage"
YES!!!!
Dude clearly has an ego lol, how massive must it have been to think he doesn't have one now jesus
Oh boy...
Here we go...lol
I think he's afraid she won't like him, so he wants to make sure that it's not "her not liking him" but the other way around. He doesn't want to get rejected, that's why he rejects her.
Those 2 are interresting to watch...yes ...hm sad at same.
Oh gawd. This terrible couple. lol
I just have to say this…it was awkward to me that she spoke to his parents about this. I felt like it was inappropriate too so I’m on his side with this. How uncomfortable to be confronted by your father about your sex life.
So dr. Honda's brother drove a Honda, huh? Interesting.
I have never known Doc to be at a lose for words and analyst..this is a tough one doc get ready
Very interesting…
Dr Honda, We want you to watch because it gets much worse than this lol.
💚💚💚
I wonder if he felt pressured to have sex with her because of gender role expectations. I can imagine feeling very distressed after having a sexual encounter with someone I don’t have chemistry with. If we tell men that they have to want sex because you’re not a man if you don’t is soooo detrimental to boys and men. I have no idea obviously, but if there are grounds to include narcissistic disorder in a differential diagnosis way then I can see that playing a role in the situation they experienced
Repeatedly????🤔
This couple. Oh man... this was one of the worst. Not a fan. Would not recommend. 0/5 stars.
