Underpowered and underprepared, Amanda Ripley must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.
Alien Isolation is set in 2137, 15 years after the events of Alien, 42 years prior to Aliens. Amanda is in search of her disappearing mother, Ellen Ripley.
Gameplay focuses around survival and stealth. Although a crafting system can allow players to defend themselves, flight is preferred over fight. Gamers can go under tables, hide inside lockers (holding breath as well), and hit walls to create distractions.
Alien will hunt based on distractions. Example: open locker, air lock, or ventilation shaft. Alien can detect humans by sight, sound, and smell. The game features one Alien throughout the duration of the game that cannot be killed.

Yea pipe bombs, molotovs, i used shotgun, bolt gun and flamethrower too. The bolt gun, is awesome. Let them get close enough but not that close to where he can grab you but to where you can shoot him right in the face with it and they die. But obviously with the molotovs are the flamethrower it takes a little but they will die if you just keep spraying them with the flamethrower
