This Amur Falcon gathered mostly in plantation area especially rubber tree and Nikhekhu villagers noticed those birds in the year 1999 but never knew that it's a migratory birds gradually news spread the whole Dimapur district later on this bird become famous. Thank you so much NLTV

When our people were naive, not knowing the importance for floral & fauna preservation, i still remember during my childhood days, we enjoy every morning & evening meal with that bird.

Actual resting place is Nikhekhu long before other districts but it was late 90s people were not informed so the whole Dimapur district came n started killing birds for consumption including police and officers😂 also came, therefore it shifted, now Nikhekhu villagers are guarding voluntarily to protect this bird
It comes in different villages of Nagaland and they protect it too... Doesn't seem fair to highlight on just one village... Should give importance to all
Even in northern angami side ciechama village if I am not mistaken today so many flying in the sky and kids shoting with catapult and some carrying guns around so if this places can be also stop shoting it will be good

We the pangti people have preserved it earlier and therefore they are spreading it across the state 😊. Bdw they have even arrived at pangti as well.
