1. Try to eat to full after shadow barraging. 2. Always barrage after the phase with melee attacks as the next phase will always be 1tick. 3. On the boulder special, try to just walk one tile in front of you every tick and stay 1 or 2 tiles from the edge then duck behind the boulders after about 7 attacks, try not to trap yourself. This gives you much more room to run around on the enrage phase
So each time you stun him he skips more phases and gets to the harder ones faster . The issue I see with this kill is that your first stun was done a phase earlier than it should have been, the first one tick phase is easy to deal with because it doesn't include melee attacks, so use that phase to get extra DPS at the start and then do the stun. I think you will find the kill goes much easier after that. Also you should probably be using Bowfa instead of Tbow, and definitely get that webweaver for the spec at the end.
So with the stuns I stun after the 2nd set of attacks then stun after each attack set after that so I never get the one ticks. I can get faster kills with less stuns but I make more mistakes and get less kc trips or die. You need to hit as often as you can on the lightning phase and line up the boulders on the corners of the arena. Like I said, walk the boulders and count 10 tiles then run behind the line you just laid. Leave a 1 tile gap from the edge of course. Always stay at the edge of the arena until lightning and the final phase. Towards the final phase make your way to the least restricted corner and the orb will spawn there more likely. Equip webwever and get in orb and double spec and 80% of the time that ends the fight. This gets me low 2 minute kills and sub 2 a few times based on rng.
Here's some general tips that I've learned over several hundred kills: -Be deliberate where you place your boulders and try to put them on the outside of the arena. One drops each time he "phases" and during the boulder spit special you can drop 2 on each tile by walking shortly after the "odd" number boulder is spit (1, 3, 5 etc) - Try to look up tiles for lightning running. You can use tbow/bowfa running back and forth along one side of the boss or blowpipe between 2 specific tiles on each corner. If doing the blowpipe method, it's helpful to know that Leviathan will always start the attack counter clockwise of where you stood a couple ticks after hitting his weak spot. This makes dodging a lot easier if you stand still on the 1st marked tile for a few ticks before moving clockwise to the 2nd marked tile. -Which special the boss uses first is telegraphed by where the very first set of boulders fall at the start of the fight. If 2 of the 3 permanent boulders are East and West, lightning will be the first special. If they're N and S, boulder spit will be first. I'd recommend just marking one tile in each cardinal direction and labeling them to help remember which special is associated with the positions. -Lastly, the white orb during enrage phase will always spawn in the NW corner, as long as you don't drop boulders there, and rotate clockwise. You need to be slightly in front of the orb to be truly safe, and tagging the orb with true tile indicator on will help a lot. This is by far my favorite boss and I hope these tips help others learn to enjoy it as well :)
Highly recommend looking up a guide on lightning phase. You can run back and forth thru it by attacking on corners and counting the bosses attacks. Also, If you set up markers for the rocks you’ll always have space left to stay safe. Just click once per ticket to keep moving one tile over. This is what put my level 100 over the edge on leviathan. So glad to have my qp cape back. Great quest and bosses
Leviathan is actually my favorite so far, here's some tips - Read the chat box for "lightning" / "Boulder" message - Ctrl + Click will always walk - use this during boulder (~10 boulders get shot out as debris, walk 1 tile away from the far edge, loop back through along the edge after 6 boulders land) - Dont clutter the ring around the leviathan with boulders (boulders drop after each round of attacks & the special attack) - 180 HP starts enrage phase, try to be NW or NE of Levi when this happens - Shadow & Attack from behind always does good damage. (This can be used at 181-209HP to speed through enrage)
This was the first one I grinded to the axe piece. It can be way easier than how your going about it. I run bofa with a webweaver to spec for final phase and do 4 kill trips usually. Don't run with the boulders, just walk and leave a gap between the edge of the arena and step behind the rocks.
@@Frogf1sh I did 150 whisperer throughout last week, definitely didn’t seem bugged but you do need to kill all the ghosts (venator bow) to get the perfect kill
@@xxjongjongxx did about 250 last week of which say ~150 with venator bow and it definitely was bugged. The few times I received higher common loot was when I took damage and did not kill all ghosts. Wiki states it's still the case but it's possible they fixed it?
So for that final part where you need to sit in the orb thingy to avoid chip damage, it also boosts your accuracy (and damage I think) so using spec weapons like the webweaver bow will make you almost one shot it for the last phase :) Love the vids as always king
I dont know if anybody else said it, but if you can, use webweaver bow to specc out the boss on enrage phase. I consistently 2 tap him with 94 ranged and crystal armour. If the speccs don't finish him just keep shooting him with the webweaver, even in crystal armour without the bonus you will burn him down quick. Its better than trying to mess around with a gear swap in the middle of enrage. Also, he will bite you especially during enrage if you are one tile from him so try to ring 2 tiles from him as you follow the white orb. Also, an easy way to do enrage is to run ahead of the orb, get some shots in/prayer switches and then when the orb gets to you run ahead/ prayer switches and then shoot when you're like 4 tiles ahead. You will not be protected from chip damage if you are one tile behind where the white orb is travelling, but if you stand ahead of it you are covered up to 3-4.
Hi Mr nosleep! This is my favorite boss of the 4 and ill share how I have killed about 200 kc so far. 99 range, bowfa, divine range pot and webweaver for the spec plus lightbearer. 1:50 pb and like 2:15? average kill. Firstly you should try to make it through the phase where it shoots all three combat style orbs every tick, (maybe just go in there and practice this rotation without attacking. You can always click on the rowboat to leave the area or TP out) and then shadow barrage him after you complete that phase. I only ever have to shadow barrage him twice and maybe half the time I only do it once before I get him down to ~180-190 hp to start the rage phase. For the boulders, turn off run and weave in bowfa attacks while you are walking to avoid the boulders ( you can get 2 or 3 attacks off and have time to step behind the boulders before it shoots.) For the lightning, if you stand on a certain tile a bit north of the boss on the east side of the room (let me know if you want the exact tile), you can get three hits off on the boss while hes turning to start his lightning and then immediately start running south after your 3rd attack and you are in cycle to run back and forth between those tiles to attack each time. It feels super nice. After either special, you should be making the decision on if you can skip the second shadow barrage depending on your hit rng. Or if you find it easier, you can just barrage him at around ~190-220 hp and then hit him in the back to hopefully start the rage phase. If I know I can skip the second shadow barrage, I make my way to where the orb spawns in the north west and prepare for the rage phase while still hitting the boss. Also, if you rage phase him while in the middle of his attack cycle, the orbs that are still in the air and hit you for like 4-5 damage each don't effect the 50% increased loot chance if you get hit by them which is nice, because before the update I think that ruined your perfect kill. So now you can afford to be lazy and brute force the rage phase without shadow barraging if you are worried about your extra loot. And finally, you can dump 2 webweaver specs while following the orb that spawns and hopefully that finishes him off. If not, switch back to bowfa for the last few attacks because the webweaver noodles without the spec. Depending on supply drops I can last for 5-10 kills per trip. Its almost like a rhythm game fighting this boss and maybe thats why its my favorite, it just takes practice. Anyways, good luck! Thanks for the content.
Oh I forgot to add: you can change your prayer immediately after the orb hitting you disappears. And for the one tick cycles, you can use the audio cues to know which orb is coming next and pray accordingly.
Yo, great tips! I just finished the quest and haven't done any post quest bosses, but leviathan was by far my favorite (and the easiest personally.) The quest version I never even saw the boulder special, just straight bowfa and barrage took it down before a 2nd spec. Only 90 ranged but hoping I can get some clean kills! Based on the wiki it seems like duke and whisperer have better drops gp wise but I'm way more interested in uniques and having fun
Can't wait to do this one, but also can't wait to struggle to get my kc so I can actually make my animation on it too. Leviathan haunts me, meanwhile Duke boy is sitting there like a chubby buddy and I love him
when the snek shoots 10 rocks you can RP walk to have him build a 2x5 wall for you to hide behind or move 1 tile every 2 ticks once you get comfy with it to make it take up much less room love the videos btw
Once you get the melee protect mixed in shadow barrage before the next phase. Id say bring web weaver because 2 specs ends enrage (most of the time). Stay on the north side of the map when you know youre going to trigger enrage (under 20% hp)On boulder special essentially you stay 1 tile from max distance from corners and just walk from the corner towards another corner then step behind the boulders right before he roars. Also during lightning you can dps running back and forth and just attacking on the same tick your weapon attacks (works with 4 and 5 tick). These last 2 tips are easier to grasp if you watch a video but as long as you can clean up boulder special and be ready for enrage youll be golden.
The reason you (sometimes) get more loot is because of a new mechanic with these bosses that gives you 50% extra loot if you avoid all unnecessary damage. You can find more about it on the droptables on the wiki. Some general tips from some freak who farmed this for 600 kills to get the vestige: -Bowfa is definitely better than Tbow -Stay ahead of the blob in the last phase. The blob is actually further ahead than it might show. Even true tiles don't show it correctly. You will also get a huge damage buff and damage reduction. -Some people like to use webweaver bow in the last phase, so you can spec the boss and kill him in about 2 specs. -Try to stay away from the melee range of the boss. -Try to 'place' the rocks he throws so they don't bother you later. -You can woox-walk the lightning phase. You deal reduced damage, but damage nonetheless. -Have fun and keep playing until you get that ring. 2/3 copium.
Since you know when the fast phase is coming, you should hit the f-key for your spellbook as you’re running from the rocks in between phases, that way he only gets a maximum of 1 attack off before he is stunned. Also the webweaver bow to completely skip the last phase is well worth it
For the enrage phase Make sure to mark the tile where the white orb spawns and run there when his down to 20% health and get ur webweaver bow ready with spec. Should kill it in 2 specs
Watching you use augury for most of the fight was painful :D But other than that: 1. Stacking the rocks in a line by walking then going behind the line is fairly easy and gives you lots of space to work with. 2. You can dps during lighting phase by running back and forth on any side and hitting on each end (guide by Duck, e.g.) 3. Double webweaver spec from inside abyssal pathfinder nearly guarantees two hit last phase, max hit 136 (4x34). 4. Leaving first two rows open so you don't get meleed during last phase is highly recommendable if it does not die from double webweaver spec Rest is just practice I guess, my definite favorite of the new bosses for many reasons!
Using bowfa on leviathan is fine. I would strongly recommend using a webweaver bow against the final 20% when the light orb appears. Standing in the light buffs your attacks and the webweaver bow shoots 4 arrows for 50% spec. If you stand in the light and double webweaver spec, it will kill the leviathan like 95% of the time and will leave it with a sliver of hp left.
The gear your using in the example gear is bis, speccing during shadow barrage counts as a regular attack, so save webweaver bow spec for enrage phase double spec. Stay inside the white orb during enraged phase. Unavoidable damage is 50% more loot, except at whisperer as of 8/8/23 its still bugged and 50% loot seems random.
when it comes to the boulders i make a line 1 tile away from any of the walls and on the last one i walk behind said wall i try to stand on the back for the first 3-4 cycles so you dont stack boulders in your way for final stand. when it comes to lightning if you learn the method from hitting on the corners and running back and forth you can get kills with less stam usage. before it hits 20% around 22-25% stun it on the opposite side of the orb spawn so you can be in position for final stand
Mr no sleep, you ziggy. Stop barraging him and let his attack speed increase instead. Just pray against it the whole time, and step 1 tile over whenever he finishes his attack combo. Until 20% then follow the orb in enrage phase. This way no specs from boss involved just prayers. You could bring thralls for more dps too. The shadow barrage slows kill down. If you stand still and pray you could avoid avoidable damage as long as you pray
I still haven't finished dt2 because I started with Vardorvis, died several times, and rage quit. Jesus christ, this boss looks like it'll be super aids...
I really want to see a series where you go through the beastiary on the OSRS wiki and kill 100 of each mob in order of lowest level to highest, skipping the ones that don't have any real drops or ones you've made videos on before. Even levels 1-10 would be interesting since there's the level 2 Rabbit in Priff and Revenant Imps.
I got bored of doing duke and sold my items to get a bofa and full crystal armour ect. To do this boss and i have yet to get a kc lol it's way harder than the quest version but i like that the boss is vary engaging i hope i can get it down eventually iv already lost 14 mill from death's on the new bosses so far with only one (7) dragon plateleg drop so I'm down 13 mill well actually more because of getting taxed from the g.e i wish you could get free deaths until you have atleast 20kc or something because at this rate im going to lose my whole bank trying to learn these new bosses but overall I'm very happy they are in the game you can never have enough bosses imo. My favorite solo boss in the game is still muspha even tho i still haven't got even one shard in over 500 kc it is a fun boss.
I finally got around to doing DT2(just now finished the quest) and I thought leviathan was super easy, I killed it first try, Duke too. But I REALLY struggled with vardoris and whisperer. Vardorvis probably took me 5 attempts and whisperer took like 10+... I don't wanna talk about it lol.
You can get attacks in during the electricity wave special attack. Im sure there are better guides out there but here goes explaining it. It’s a 5 tick cycle and if you’re camera is facing leviathan the you will run from right to left along the square in the center.
During the lightning phase you can run back and fourth 8 tiles and attack then turn back another 8 tiles and repeat that until the phase is done helps with getting some free DPS during the kill and super easy to set up.
Use a crossbow and ruby dragon bolts (e), Use Webweaver for orb phase, also don't bring combo food. Prepot before u tele to scar with divine and a stamina. go 3-4 waves before stunning him the first time, then do 2 waves then stun and repeat
These bosses look so cool and the fights look rally interactive, but Leviathan seems a bit much. It's hard to predict what to do even watching the video lol. I should really do the quest, but I can't see myself doing the bosses afterward because the rewards seem kind of crap outside of the extremely rare uniques.
I got dukes axe item, so I m also going through all bosses and some of them is a real struggle to finish. I also found out from trying, that Inquisitor mace with full Inquisitor armour is better then bandos armour and fang at Vardorvis
You can stay infront of the orb on same side and not take chip damage. I find for last phase if not using webweaver to just move until you see 2 of same orbs then throw an attack in the mix. Your character will glow when you have the immunity/accuracy bonus. your order of priority should be prayer>movement>attacks. the orb will spawn in nw corner unless you have dropped a boulder near there.
The gear your using in the example gear is bis, speccing during shadow barrage counts as a regular attack, so save webweaver bow spec for enrage phase double spec. Unavoidable damage is 50% more loot, except at whisperer as of 8/8/23 its still bugged and 50% loot seems random.
Into the am is my favorite shirt brand, such a good price and they fit amazing and they comfortable! Cool to see you got a discount code I've worn their shirts forever
it seems like we are the peak of how they can design pvm mechanics in osrs... is every boss going forward just going to be jad prayer mechanics but faster and avoid the shit landing on the ground? probably
You seemed to always have three brews in your inventory. Did you even use any? I’ve never killed this boss but replacing 2-3 of the brews with food might really help.
Run the other way to catch up with the orb than you did in your demo kill. You ran around almost the whole boss when you could have ran 1 length. Use blowpipe during orb phase or even better spec with web weaver bow when you are with the orb.
I cant say im crazy about the bosses added with dt2. With the exception of Duke, these bosses are absurd. Waaaaaaaaaay to much happening at once, and leviathan is absolutely the most guilty of that. Its so frustrating that it dorsnt feel worth learning. I barely killed it during the quest and it took 8-9 attempts to get a 2nd... Just to get a useless supply drop or some absolute trash resources. Not. Worth. It.
I’m honestly surprised that you thought this one was the hardest. I do it in poor ppl gear too (void dragon cbow) I thought leviathan was the easiest and I suck at bossing (zulrah took me 10 tries for the diary).
I reckon shadow barraging after his 1t mage/range cycle. His first 1t cycle is mage/range only, which is manageable. Then he chucks in the melees so, you'd wanna stop it there. Also 5:00 bit dumb mate, loot scaled off how much food you eat? Wake up m88
Any advice? feel free to comment below! also - Use code Nosleep for 10% off - www.intotheam.com/

@@quakegang webweaver but yeah it still kills the boss with 2 specs if you stay in the orb

- 180 HP starts enrage phase, try to be NW or NE of Levi when this happens
- Shadow & Attack from behind always does good damage. (This can be used at 181-209HP to speed through enrage)

2. You can dps during lighting phase by running back and forth on any side and hitting on each end (guide by Duck, e.g.)
3. Double webweaver spec from inside abyssal pathfinder nearly guarantees two hit last phase, max hit 136 (4x34).
4. Leaving first two rows open so you don't get meleed during last phase is highly recommendable if it does not die from double webweaver spec
Rest is just practice I guess, my definite favorite of the new bosses for many reasons!
Ah my favorite OSRS Masochist had uploaded 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
This poor man boutta do 1000 more leviathan
I also love the clue scroll aspect the fact you cant get multiple tiers from the same boss is pretty nice 😮
Leviathan is the best fight of the DT2 bosses. By far my favorite.
So close to 200m range!
Such a great video, man you really stuck that one with augury on most of the fight and first kill in a while I'm impressed you stayed alive.👏
Holy balls, that was awesome. I love to see the struggle. Thank you for the laughs :P.
The gear your using in the example gear is bis, speccing during shadow barrage counts as a regular attack, so save webweaver bow spec for enrage phase double spec. Stay inside the white orb during enraged phase. Unavoidable damage is 50% more loot, except at whisperer as of 8/8/23 its still bugged and 50% loot seems random.
when it comes to the boulders i make a line 1 tile away from any of the walls and on the last one i walk behind said wall
i try to stand on the back for the first 3-4 cycles so you dont stack boulders in your way for final stand.
when it comes to lightning if you learn the method from hitting on the corners and running back and forth you can get kills with less stam usage.
before it hits 20% around 22-25% stun it on the opposite side of the orb spawn so you can be in position for final stand
0:54 optimal shark placement in the inventory
Update* iv now mastered this boss and love it. 56 kc so far mastered at 30kc
Just so you know you had augary on the whole kill haha😂
Use a crossbow and ruby dragon bolts (e), Use Webweaver for orb phase, also don't bring combo food. Prepot before u tele to scar with divine and a stamina.
go 3-4 waves before stunning him the first time, then do 2 waves then stun and repeat
Should use the tile marker setup for this boss. Personally makes the rock spit part so much easier
My play style is extremely similar to yours so my favourite boss order of the DT2 bosses are the same. Love the content man
You're humble. I love it. Don't change.
Man sounds completely defeated
I just started this boss and enjoy it.
Nice one I struggle here also still learning myself
These bosses look so cool and the fights look rally interactive, but Leviathan seems a bit much. It's hard to predict what to do even watching the video lol.
I should really do the quest, but I can't see myself doing the bosses afterward because the rewards seem kind of crap outside of the extremely rare uniques.
Bosses were brutal even during the quest, the whisperer handed my backside to me.
Really enjoying all the new boss content
I got dukes axe item, so I m also going through all bosses and some of them is a real struggle to finish. I also found out from trying, that Inquisitor mace with full Inquisitor armour is better then bandos armour and fang at Vardorvis
Any tips to grind out the last 2 thieving levels? I pretty much only play on mobile and pyramid plunder just drains my sanity.
I get avg of 6 kill trips 2-230min kc time
Whats going on MrNosleep, its the comments section from RUclips
Use the webweaver special attack for the enrage phase, should kill it with both specs.
Leviathan is my favorite tbh once u get it down it becomes pretty enjoyable
for the final phase if you have a webweaver bow double spec levi in the cloud and it should do most of the damage for the kc
Hey man we all game with what we got love to see you playing mate 💜 can’t wait for the 1 k videos!
Bro really darkbow speccing instead of ending the final enrage phase in 3.5 seconds with two webweaver speccs
Webweaver bow for spec on the last phase. 700+ xp hits
it's okay, i hate leviathan too, it took me like 10 tries just to kill the quest boss and i haven't gone back since lol
Oh shit I love Into the AM clothing. Some of my favorite tees
definitely one of the harder ones, yet has the 2nd worst droprate for some reason..
BRO YOU WERE USING AUGURY…also nice vid as always 😎
Just say it wrong like behemoth and call it "LEVI-ETHAN" 😂
This was so funny to watch lol
Webweaver bow spec is huge for the last phase
double webweaver spec on enrage phase and it is EZ$
It's funny that this is your least favorite boss because Whisperer is the one i struggled with most in a big way
....how do you not have elidinis thread yet???
GG in lms, lol.
never thought id see you xD
it seems like we are the peak of how they can design pvm mechanics in osrs... is every boss going forward just going to be jad prayer mechanics but faster and avoid the shit landing on the ground? probably
You seemed to always have three brews in your inventory. Did you even use any? I’ve never killed this boss but replacing 2-3 of the brews with food might really help.
Just a quick question guy lol all your boss vids I've seen I'm like this guy gotta be stacked fat in gold how do you not have bis gear?
the extra loot is for a perfect kill without taking any avoidable damage.
Perfect kill gives you +50% loot. Can’t have any avoidable damage for the extra loot
That 30K drop though 😵💫
this boss is reallly fun when you get it but fuck man, its rough
Im your fan, greetings from Venezuela
Run the other way to catch up with the orb than you did in your demo kill. You ran around almost the whole boss when you could have ran 1 length. Use blowpipe during orb phase or even better spec with web weaver bow when you are with the orb.
THYMES ON RICE BROTHA THYMES ON RICE
I actually can’t tell if you’re trolling when you play like this or not but I still like the videos LOL
Using Rigour might've helped
First ad I watched in a month and they have face masks 😂😂
Wanne borrow some armour? Got tons
the end of the quest fight is harder than the bosses for me
If you ever do a thousand kills please get the web weaver bow to literally skip the final phase
Still gotta get 1 kill after quest here. Can't imagine 100 +..
Has this guy never been outside and spoken to anyone? Yes, of course that's the correct pronunciation lol
Hasn’t been to church
Braaaah, best advice is to chill more. you dont need all that running haha
Not. Worth. It.
Do 1,000 leviathan!
We early today bois. Loving the new boss content Mr No Sleep
I’m nearly 1k duke kills this was going to be the next I think I’ll do vardorvis instead 😂😂
less than a 99 until 200m ranged
Leviathan is my fav since all my money is in range
Hahahaha so enjoyed this :d
I’m honestly surprised that you thought this one was the hardest. I do it in poor ppl gear too (void dragon cbow) I thought leviathan was the easiest and I suck at bossing (zulrah took me 10 tries for the diary).
Right! it took me longer to kill vard than leviathan
@@derangedrebel3898 ye it was whisperer>vard>duke>levi for me personally
Nice pb
I reckon shadow barraging after his 1t mage/range cycle. His first 1t cycle is mage/range only, which is manageable. Then he chucks in the melees so, you'd wanna stop it there. Also 5:00 bit dumb mate, loot scaled off how much food you eat? Wake up m88
" no Ron its leviOsa not leviosA"
Whisperer took me 3 days ….
