@@RCREVEALED your welcome, you may remember? They used to have 1/5th scale monster trucks in RC shop windows back in the early 2000's of trucks similar to the rival in looks but bigger and able to easily climb gutters/ road side.. most of them used to be petrol and around 6-800 but I don't see them anymore and I have tried finding one but they are very very hard to come by. You could accelerate and one wheel would lift off as they had great torque power down low but not really a great top speed! This rival truck sure did bring back some memories 🎉 Keep up the great content because your one of a kind and more RC people should be more like you and your shop! Most of them here supply hobby stuff also so it's cram packed with toys and parts here go by part numbers so it's very hard to find things. I've even asked a few shops for things like the DHK maximus tyres and nobody has been able to suggest or supply anything to fit the 17mm hex wheel with a road base tyre tread or slick as they only have the same DHK stock tread! Can't wait to see one upgraded, then maybe I'll see where they got parts 🥳
@ I appreciate you taking the time to comment and it does bring back memories for me as well. I definitely have love for the RC hobby, it’s just not all about bashing the crap out of them and don’t get me wrong. They are made to play with, but I think people should appreciate the development and design of these RC’s and how far they have gone and the beauty of them. Thank you and I appreciate you watching this channel.
@@RCREVEALED very true. If you can run them to achieve a smile and also smile when they are sitting on the shelf I think you got a winner! Stunts are cool but make a truck specific to that and that only if that is what they desire I say. Keep the others clean and still in operation and that is what gets the biggest smile because if you have something ten or even 20 years and it still runs as it did out of the box it's a better experience because as you said you can see how far they have come and also still get that childhood dream car and run it as if you was still that child playing 10-20 years ago🥳 rather than spending big $ just to break it and build over and over again! It makes no sense to me but that's my opinion. I'm glad I found a channel that values the small things that sometimes others may overlook or miss out on entirely. I can't wait to see more that's for sure! 😀
Pretty neat truck, it was originally released as a nitro ofc. And as the E-MTA i believe when Thunder tiger sold it as well which is ofc owned by Team associated.
@@Mini-z1994 yes, that sounds about right. That’s why I said I needed some wheels and tires for my thunder tiger in the video, because they are the same wheels and tires on the rival. I appreciate you watching, thank you.
@RCREVEALED No problem anytime, I bought that glamis Uno new in the box from my local hobby shop,it is a true RTR battery, charger AA's everything, it's all because of you & you're channel I bought it....super cool buggy, not sure if I'm gonna run it much if at all...Thanks brother!!!
First off my man, Killer truck!! My first Nitro rig was the smaller motor MGT with the Blue Livery. Then they came out with the 4.60 SE. I would love to see this bad boy dive around and maybe do a small 2ft air jump just to watch the suspension do it’s work. Such a throw back. Even the ESC chimes I have not heard in years. 🤘🤘🤘
Do you have a Team Losi Nitro Mega Baja with the big block engine in your vast collection? I have one still in the box with everything it originally came with. It still looks brand spanking new. I drove it maybe 6-8 tanks of fuel before I lost interest in Nitro cars back in the early 2000’s. It’s the pull start spin start combo version. It’s been sitting on the shelf for almost 20 years now. I recently got back into the hobby but I’m all about the electric cars now. I’ve been trying to find someone to pull off a fair trade for it. I’m definitely open to negotiating if you’re interested. Any other way to contact you other than instagram or Facebook? I’m no longer on either of those platforms.
@@tyshiddejuremanbey1313 it is a toy, but at the same time it is not. I see where you are coming from. I am trying to grab other peoples attention as well to watch my videos. All I can say is, if you do not like the thumbnail or video, just do not click on it.
Great pickup very cool 👍👍👍
Thank you, It is a great RC for sure. Appreciate you watching.
Great old truck to add to the collection. I like the shock setup on it, it looks so realistic!
@@StewartLeslie1991 it really is, I do recommend one if you can find a nice one in decent condition. Thank you and I appreciate you watching.
