  • In this video we deal with the problems of flooding at our bottom ground. We pull pig weeds, try our field cultivator in the standing soybeans but have problems with it bunching up. So we chop up the standing soybeans with the disk to prepare them for the field cultivator. Then we finish off the video with some soybean harvest.
it would be very convenient if you gave me some advice on what you’d like to see in future corn dynasty videos. That can include anything you found boring in this video or your favorite part. please feel free to comment some constructive criticism it will be well appreciated.
    Who is corn dynasty?
We are a small, multi-generational family farm that has been no-till for over 4 decades. Our farm raises winter wheat, rye, corn, and soybeans.

Best thing is planting without doing any tillage. otherwise you are planting weeds.

Great point! We are actually no till on everything but our bottom ground. But the reason we tilled it up last fall was because of pig weeds. We hand pulled all the big weeds that could have possible seeds and put them in sacks to be disposed properly. But we will always miss a few of the little ones. The little ones are small enough to not produce seeds. So to prevent the little weeds that we couldn’t find from getting big enough to produce seeds, we decided to till them up therefore killing them before they get bigger. It was all caused by flooding So the seeds from other farmers weeds came into our bottom ground. Great comment btw. Thanks for watching.

Can you do an equipment tour

Maybe some day. But It feels a little off for me as a 16 year old kid to show the equipment my family has worked hard to earn over the years. The channel is more to show how farming works and why we do the things we do. But because an equipment tour is a popular request we might make one eventually. Thanks for watching.
