    Hats off to you Grant. I’ve been watching since I was 6 when FS17 came out. I am now almost 13 and crazy how far you have come. My parents have always said “oh that guy won’t do anything than just sit on his computer playing farming simulator all day” and now I show them how far you have come and you have your own farm. Crazy what you can do in 7 years. Hope your harvest went well!

    Nice going Grant, great video! Lots of good info there, I appreciate the sharing! Nice buy on the side by side too. I don't want to say how old I am, but when I was a young teen, a farm I helped out on one summer put in lots of clay tile every year for a number of years! This plastic stuff looks much easier and whole lot faster! Thanks for posting!

    Figured the beans probably did not turn out good when you didnt show that field during harvest. We had something similar happen to us like that several years ago when we tried it. Got 1st cutting of hay off an alfalfa field then hit it with roundup and no tilled beans in late June. Drought hit and they got hardly any rain that summer and looked a lot like yours. Just turned cows out on them to graze after frost kill and tore the field up in the spring. Late or 2nd crops like that are a buzzkill if you don't get some timely rains shortly after planting.

    • @granthilbert5632
      @granthilbert5632  2 года назад +1

    on the military truck problems starting in cool weather could be a couple things most likely it is poor compression. This happens just from general wear and tear. One of the things to look for is if you are getting a lot of blow by out of the blow by tube if you are this motor is probably on borrowed time which means you would need to do an engine rebuild to solve the problem. The other issue that it could be is an issue with the diesel injector pump on the side of the motor. If it is due to blow by and you were using a lot of oil then it’s possible that your rings are bad which would also result in an engine rebuild . Now some engines are able to be rebuilt and some are not if the motor does not have sleeves in it or liners as they are known then it is not a motor that can be rebuilt if that is the case you just have to cut your losses when it blows and you would be looking at getting a new motor to keep using it

    • @granthilbert5632
      @granthilbert5632  2 года назад +2

      You got it!
      1. As soon as ground's thawed usually starting to look at planting.
      2. Most importantly it's usually wetter in the spring, and by tiling in the fall we get a freeze/frost cycle that allows the tile/soil to work better once the frost is out.
      3. We do a lot of compaction while installing tile. The frost right after helps get rid of a lot of the compaction.

    • @granthilbert5632
      @granthilbert5632  2 года назад

      I exited a little bit of my bitcoin position in Feb 2021 and bought a Farm. In Feb 2021 there was way too much excitement in BTC. Bitcoin's very cyclical. Times just like these during 2018 bear market is what allowed me to enter into a position at $3,000-$5,000. This is the same exact scenario- everyone think it's dead, no one is interested, I'm not getting friends asking if they should buy etc...! Nothing has changed in the protocol, hashrate is still very good, and there's an insane amount of development on the lightning network. Because of BTC's cyclical nature I've added to my bitcoin position over the last months and will be adding more into early 2023.
      There's definitely a chance I'm wrong. I position size accordingly.
      Just for fun, let's screenshot this and come back in Late 2024/2025! 🤝

      False. If we were to compare definition of ponzie schemes to most CENTRALIZED Fiat currencys we have today bitcoin would be one of the least ponzi like.
      Bitcoin was created in 2009. Satoshi posted on a forum that anyone could participate in the network if they would like. No one was forced. No one is promised anything. And most importantly, no one has to trust a CENTRALIZED party. You can verify yourself. Arguably Bitcoin's more American than the Dollar (in my opinion if American is based on Freedom & Capitalism)
      Ask yourself what happens if all user's of today's fiat currencys pull money out of banks for cash? Ask you-self how do you know you have money in the bank? Is it because you have a centralized bank that say's you do? Ask yourself how you transfer money to your buddy in Australia- do you go to the bank and ask for permission to transfer money? Ask yourself how do you keep your money from getting dublicated? Do you beg the FED to stop Quantitative Easing? Ask yourself if you own farmland/real-estate how do you know that you own that farm? Do you check the Centralized platbook- what if those people want to take your farm? Do you actually own it? Ask yourself what happens when Central Bank Digital Currencys you're a 65 year old (hypothetical) with too much wealth, and some politicians believe you need to pay a higher sales tax when purchasing items with digital currency. Or your eating too much fast food that week and are not allowed to purchase Mcdonalds for the 4th time that week?
      Do you see a world in which DECENTRALIZED GLOBAL payments network could have some value across the world? Even if it's just insurance?
