Night time is important. Very important. Dust is collectable like a bush, only at night. Purple flowers. And only night spawn's humans will drop and some treasure chests have them. In the beginning you need to press E to collect resources then you don't need to worry about basics. Same for creatures. You may think i don't need food now, but it's not about food🙂↔️. When you unalive an animal you can see the tier list. 1 to 3. Less attacks means harvest tier high. So 1 shot equals tier 2 or 3. Multiple attacks always give tier 1. And also tier 1 gives basic drops like meat, bones, skin. Tier 3 gives organs and other rare items which are massive boost for health and stamina. Your wellcome, don't forget to like and subscribe. And give a ❤
Without spoiling anything, I'll just say that you do get a lot more building options with better materials. The thatch hut in the tutorial is meant to be a throwaway structure. With better materials you can create your own villa, replete with artistic flair and specialty structures like walled verandas and the like.
Kage, there are several things to be aware of, on repairing tools, weapons, or Armor. First, you need construct Repair Cordage. This is done on the Crafting screen. Once you've built Repair Cordage, you'll need to find it in Inventory and USE it. Then you can click on the Object to repair (it can remain on the Hotbar). If I remember correctly (and it tells you this the first time you do a repair), one Repair Cordage restores +100 Health to the object if it is DAMAGED, but it takes TWO Repair Cordage if Broken. Ambrosia "Crystals" can supposedly be found in the Flowers, but they can ONLY be harvested from the Flowers at night. The Flowers are large purple flowers, with only a single flower bloom. They only open at night. Additionally, there are other things that can ONLY be done at night, but night time brings out Lost. Lost are hostile people who will attack with Bow and Arrow at range, and fight with Spears. They're not difficult, but frequently are found in groups. Careful about getting into a crossfire, as one will shoot at you from behind while you're busy fighting another at close range.
Go foraging at night, you'll find resources, such as ambrosia, much easier to find, as it glows in the dark. I believe there are some crystal resources like this too...
north east of that lake are the flowers , a bit further north at the tower of power III is a cave below full of foes but also the crystals , you need to unlock all 3 towers and the temple first to get the pickaxe print inside the temple
You find the crystal in some chests, on enimies guarding the chests and at night on glowing flowers that look like purple tulips. I found them sort of in the middle of the map left of the lake. Thx for recommending the game, bought it right away and love it!
At night you can go and pick up flowers(purple/blue)that gives you Ambrosia. Also there are some chest called Nightchest, means that you can only open them at night(they are guarded by monsters at night)
Many good features in this game, a number of good QOL things, Like drawing from storage for crafting etc. Looks to be a good one. A good collect everything all the time. Hoarders delight.
And for controller people it is controller compatible on PC it is phenomenal finally a game that we can actually watch you play and actually play the game too I know that seems dumb to some people but I can only play with controller
so funny and co-incidental. when i lost all my gear and mats in "planetaries", i got pissed and thought "just let it go until they update it". found "Dawn of Defiance", bought it and loving it too. Checked to see my starting was optimal by stopping and watching others streaming .......... and found Kage848 in exactly my boat !!!! DoD seems much more stable, having a ball. Cheers and beers Kage848 for sharing my mindset over 24 hours ................. i willgo back to "planetaries" when they add better save games etc. but SO happy playing DoD in the meantime.
@@taylorwhite2751 i am enjoying it. worth the $25 for funz. very starwars feel with light sabres and blasters etc. nice upgrading gear and weapons. just have to save often and keep storing stuff in chests in case of death lol.
Craft the workbench and the three stone weapon recipes. Deliver each weapon to the three statues. NOT WHERE THE DOOR IS!!!!! Go to the lights you've seen.
Just fyi I found it better when picking a first build spot in a survival game that I don't know anything about is pick a spot near what looks like a lot of resources, trees, shrubs, rocks, etc.
I want the kage crew play this too I find this game kinda awesome.so many to places to explore Oh also if u died, u will leave ur stuff where u died n u have to claim it bck. Ambriosa crystal inside the cave too. U might want to treat it carefully bcoz alot of enemies in the cave.
Looks really promising. I won't over-crit as it's clearly in early access. Going to wishlist, follow and wait for it to cook before I buy. Thanks for covering this!
from what i have seen with others at the crafting table you make them stone weapons find 3 areas to put them in like them one you ran from an i believe the doors will open an yes if you go out at night you will find what you are looking for just make a torch but since you dont have 3 hands you do lose your weapon
Nice game. I hope trees wont regrow out of nowhere. I hope we NNED to keep stumps, OR get stuff so we can regrow trees, otherwise it will be annoying to build bases.
There are two ways to use repair cordage: keep it in the hotbar and use it to repair the lowest durability item in your hot bar, or press the 'F' key when hovering over them in the inventory to use them and then click on the specific item you want to repair(you'll need to do this to repair armor). Also, for quick Resin chop down the thin saplings. They take 1-2 axe strikes and give Resin immediately since they don't leave a stump.
While you are stuck with one right now, the devs stated that they do want to add a character creator for the game. They also acknowledge that the top requested feature right now is a female character, so you might see that as a choice even before the character creator.
Yeah, right now you sort of want to build close to the Temple of Hecate on the Isle of Arrival and then close to the Crossroads on the main island. You have to visit those two points to travel in those areas; you may want to return to the tutorial island to collect more ambrosia crystals.
Check your building and look on what type of workbench you can build then build them one of them should be to build free special type of weapons that you can’t use for yourself but when you go to the beams of light areas where the enemy is kill all the enemies And look for a statue go to the statue after you have built the free special weapons activate the statue with one of the weapons then a pedestal will come out of the ground. If you have ambrosia you can activate the pedestal after you’ve activated it you should get an ability, for your character once you found all the statues and activated all pedestals you should have all the abilities and like one of your other commentors said you can find Ambrosia from the purple flowers at night and certain chess that can only be opened at night and each road should lead to a statue or a point of interest to advance in the game once you have activated all statues? You can go back to that door that was locked and activated? I hope this was helpful.
My current issue with this game is that it seems very open and very empty and the map compared to Valheim is appears tiny and always the same. Other than that i am liking it, ancient Greek is just asking for this sort of game based on it.
"Give me an attack and a block, and I'm fine." Amen to that, Kage! I'm so sick of all these complicated combat mechanics that so many modern games are implementing. It just needlessly complicates the game. In a survival game, the last thing you want to deal with is a combat system that requires you to have foot-long fingers to reach all the keyboard keys required. K.I.S.S. system, devs... Keep It Simple, Stupid!

Thanks for always finding awesome games. Your channel is my go to place when I am bored f what i'm playing and need something new.

I for one am glad you lightened it for viewing. Makes this a great time!
i wouldn't mind seeing more of this Valheim does come to mind when i see you play this.
Ambrosia crystals are in a cave, you'll have to fight quite a few lost/abandonded or whatever they are, but you need the pickaxe first.
At night you can go and pick up flowers(purple/blue)that gives you Ambrosia. Also there are some chest called Nightchest, means that you can only open them at night(they are guarded by monsters at night)

I didn't even know about this game and now I've grabbed. Should be some fun times.
So many Survival games are based on Norse and Medieval Themed. So great to see one based in Greek Mythology.
And for controller people it is controller compatible on PC it is phenomenal finally a game that we can actually watch you play and actually play the game too I know that seems dumb to some people but I can only play with controller

How is planetaries? It looks super fun to play. Is it worth buying? I'm a survival game lover.
Dose planararies have counter support

Love all your videos Kage, this one looks pretty cool!
Craft the workbench and the three stone weapon recipes. Deliver each weapon to the three statues. NOT WHERE THE DOOR IS!!!!! Go to the lights you've seen.
love how you were knocking on the door saying "Hello"
Hell yeah, this game looks baddass. Gonna try it out this weekend. More videos please
Looking forward to seeing more of this one 👍🏼
you visited the first "place of power"; visit 2 more and you can open up the locked door you found earlier.
Just fyi I found it better when picking a first build spot in a survival game that I don't know anything about is pick a spot near what looks like a lot of resources, trees, shrubs, rocks, etc.

Kage Crystals are found in caves but level to leather armour and upgrade spear and shield before entering lots of enemies.
Good morning Kage! Yep this looks awesome and looking forward to many videos. TY for all you do! God bless! ~John
Interesting looking game Love the premise I will keep an eye on this. Game on
i just got this and was gonna suggest it. cant wait to watch you play
Hello Kage, nice! New game. Thats cool. Question... are you still playing Supermarkt Simulater and when you will go on with the uploads?
32:45, the fourth thing Kage likes about this game ;)
Love this game so far from your video looks amazing
25:34 “Hee-Kate? Temple?”
-When that mythology pronunciation, you didn’t learn in school, casually teases your video game career. 🤔😅
🫶🏼Kage848😉
This looks awesome!
You can pause the game in single player! I love this game already 😅
Heah-ka-tay greek goddess of magic
Nice game.
I hope trees wont regrow out of nowhere. I hope we NNED to keep stumps, OR get stuff so we can regrow trees, otherwise it will be annoying to build bases.
Id be fine with the ability to planet trees
You can craft repair threads in your inventory but they cost resin and repair random tools/armor.
There are two ways to use repair cordage: keep it in the hotbar and use it to repair the lowest durability item in your hot bar, or press the 'F' key when hovering over them in the inventory to use them and then click on the specific item you want to repair(you'll need to do this to repair armor). Most important thing about any game is can you make your own toon or are you stuck with one?
For nowyou are stuck with one
While you are stuck with one right now, the devs stated that they do want to add a character creator for the game. They also acknowledge that the top requested feature right now is a female character, so you might see that as a choice even before the character creator.
I just left this comment to simply say "Thank you Kage" You are simply one of (if not) my favorite RUclips Creators.
For crystals, look for caves.
The Ambrosia dust from plants can only be found at night
Shoot the glowing orbs above chests
imo it would be better to build where there's plenty of recourses so you don't have to go as far. Saves a lot of time.
Yeah, right now you sort of want to build close to the Temple of Hecate on the Isle of Arrival and then close to the Crossroads on the main island. You have to visit those two points to travel in those areas; you may want to return to the tutorial island to collect more ambrosia crystals.
The spear stab at the start is 100% from troy
oh and in comparison, gatherings mats in this game is fast and sweet.
Seems interesting enough
you forgot to mention .." we are going to play the heck out of this game" IF the views are good 😂
nice one kage
Don’t go in caves the enemies in there can one tap you
Grow a pair and fight kage lol. Also, this looks a lot better than that weird starwars knockoff survival garbage, lol.
Building mechanic resembles Ark Survival by a lot.
Glock 9 played this not bad game
does it have full key binds?
how do,s the consle cmd skill work?
is there rest bonus like Val?

Kage ambrosia comes from night flowers and enemy or chest
My current issue with this game is that it seems very open and very empty and the map compared to Valheim is appears tiny and always the same. Other than that i am liking it, ancient Greek is just asking for this sort of game based on it.
Is this game controller compatible on pc
Different meats have different buff

Assassin's Creed: Odyssey with less parkour and more building.

Naaa, 3rd person is not for me lol... enjoy 😊

Heck at eh.
retroactive
Kage there’s no crystal
What is the point of playing a game that you know everything about it? Where is the excitment in that?
You talk valheim up a lot, but it's one of the few series of yours I didn't watch. Not sure why, but it was boring to me.
