Wow, just loved your tutorial. The instructions for us juniors is just clear and concise. Thank you for sharing awesome beautiful lady. I bought a machine at game 6 years ago, could never find a tutorial that was not rushed, you just took your time. Guess the machine is now coming out of the box. Thank you😘
I always come back to your tutorial when I get stuck. Thank you for the simple yet so so accurate explanations. You're the best. Do you have tutorials on how to cut out a basic bodice pattern
Jirrr. My machine is older. But your guide to thread it might just save my life 😆 I don't want to replace it. It works fine. Just can't find any video tutorials for it. Empisal EM-250 DELUXE. I think it's from 1970😅
Hey There You really explained everything so well,. I have a question what happens when you've threaded properly but the stitches keep picking up from the bobbin 🥲😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭(HOW DO I CHANGE THE TENNSION OF THE BOBBIN )
Hey Kefilwe, I'm happy to hear the video has helped you. There could be a number of reasons as to why that's happening, one it's either you are using the wrong needle for your fabric and maybe the wrong tension as well for your fabric. Please remember each fabric has its own settings, your manual gives you a brief explanation of this and needles also play a big role in how your machine will sew your garment. I will upload a video for you tomorrow on how to set up the tension for your bobbin since you can load your bobbin with different types of threads. Thank you for reaching out and I hope this helps you❤️🌻
Hi you have gain one more Subscriber! I am happy to find one of South African videos on this, it helped me alot, now I would like to know, I have a same machine model, and I'm a very beginner, I have a smooth nice stitch on top but at the bottom the stitsch is very lose, what might be the cause? and when should you oil your machine, how often, could that be a problem if its not oiled? Please make a video showing us these things, thank you.
Hey, oiling your machine depends on how often you use it. I don’t use mine as much as I would like to but I try to oil it atleast once a month so not to over oil it and have oil dripping onto my fabrics. You can always clean your machine to remove any lint or dust and if you use it on a day to day basis then maybe once every one to two weeks. When it comes to tension it is tricky because there can be numerous reasons as to why your tension is loose, be mindful of the needle you are using. For always ask your fabric supplier to recommend the best needle for your fabric , always do a test stitch to see if the tension is correct and consistent. Your bobbin also has a tension you can set yourself because sometimes it can be too screwed on too loose in manufacturing so you can tighten it but ensure that the thread can still move easily without breaking when doing so. I hope this helps
There could be several reasons as to why your needle keeps breaking, it could either be the needle is not inserted correctly, maybe your material is too thick for that type of needle so you might want to invest in a variety of needles which are specific to your different types of needles. The needle could also be bent or broken or your bobbin case is not inserted so the needle might be hitting the case and breaking. What are you currently working on?
When it comes to oiling your machine it truly depends on you. If you are a person who uses their a machine on a daily basis then perhaps weekly. The most important place to oil your machine would be where the bobbin case in put in as that's where alot of friction occurs. However, do now over oil your machine as it will obviously ruin your fabric. Your top thread could be snapping because of the tension is either too tight or your machine may not be threaded correctly, also make sure that you are using the right needle for your material and that your needle is not blunt. I hope this helped to answer your questions 🌻 thank you for watching
Hi, yes it can sew stretch I usually just use the straight stitch but it's adviced that you rather use the zigzag and as for tension the best way to test it is to test your fabric to see which tension works best for it
I have the same sewing machine like yours. my problem is I sewing a trouser that I created and then the machine went off, now I don't know what is wrong with it
That may be the problem, sometimes working with a hard material may cause your machine to break. My best suggestion is to get a sewing machine technician to take a lot at your machine and see if it can be repaired.
I really wish I could help you further but to be safe I'd suggest you get someone to take a look at it. Because if it was the needle or the thread kept jamming then those would easily be fixed but if it's not sewing at all then my best advice is to seek a technician. Thank you for reaching out and watching my video ❤️🌻 truly appreciate it
Hi, yes chances are you are definitely having tension issues or you could be using the wrong needle or a combination of both. Try to always test the fabric you want to work on by having a small tester piece usually two layers so your tension can work better start from 0 and work your way up to 4 or 5. Also please make sure you are using the right needle for your fabric because your needle also plays an important role when it comes to sewing. Please let me know if this has worked if not we can check out other possible reasons
@@DintlePondo I used original needle that came with the machine, then bough new ones. Tried all tention numbers. It keeps snapping. I came across other ppl complaining about the same.
And you threaded the machine? The needle you got with the machine may not necessarily be the right needle for your fabric. In your manual it also informs you on what size needle you may have to use for certain fabric. Can you perhaps DM on either Facebook or Instagram so you can show me exactly what your machine keeps doing
I think I’m also having same issue About the upper thread cutting but I think I’m not using the right needle But I have to know the better needle to be use for it and the sizes
Sometimes it could be the tension of either the machine or the bobbin because your bobbin also has a tension I'll upload a video on how to set the tension of your bobbin case and hopefully that will help. However if it doesn't I would recommend you probably go and have your machine checked out
Hi sorry for the late response, there are multiple reasons why that might be, it may be that the tension of your bobbin is off, or you are using the wrong needle for the fabric you are working with these are usually the common issues
