- It's TRAVEL DAY! A bit of a CHAOTIC travel day this time as we get delayed and worry about missing our connecting flight! We're travelling from Dublin to London with Aer Lingus and from London to Orlando with British Airways in Premium Economy. Our trip to Florida includes days at Walt Disney World, Universal and Sea World!

There's nothing like the stress of trying to make your connecting flight! My sister and I (from Cork) went to Orlando in April and had the best time. Watching your great vlog makes me want to go back so much.

I enjoy your traveling with your sister to Orlando vlogs! Always fun to watch! I would love to spend time in Scotland. I've been there once on a tour but it would be fun to have a car and travel around on our own. I loved the food and just the beauty of the location.

This came into my watch lust and am enjoying watching. The unit needed to start the aircraft is an APU. An auxiliary power unit which starts the engines when they have a problem staring themselves and give the aircraft its ground power for lights air con etc. Having just came back from Mai and Orlando I have to say if you need sunglasses etc get them in the duty free, at one point the US was the place to buy things but no more it has raging inflation and everything is very expensive so get your gear before you arrive. The girls being naturally Irish have a lovely way with them and it’s fun to watch them racing through airports when there was no real need but if you are the type who worries then plan A fly direct from Dublin plan B. Hey much earlier interconnecting lights to save you worrying

I used to do this from Cork to Heathrow to avail of Premium Economy BA flight. The Orlando flight went to Gatwick so now we just do Business direct from Dublin. Costs way more but I can’t do economy anymore, I’m too precious 😂
You fly the Great Circle Route. That's why you fly over Canada on the way to Florida. It's shorter than a straight line.
Just starting your vid, too funny ..first time alone travelling with my 2 year old (she was brill going to Mco) anyhow the table you were sitting at at BK she vomited everywhere.. what a great start 😆

Get an Apple air tag to put in your checked luggage and you will know immediately if your bags are with you. Great for peace of mind.
YES I actually have air tags so we knew once we were on the BA flight that our bag was with us! Also got a notification right as it was about to come out on the baggage claim which is cool!
Last month My Japanese mate and I went to Universal Studios Japan in Osaka,Japan. We decided to take a single rider for Jurassic Park the ride then I rode with 4 people from Ireland whose two of them live in Yokohama,Japan. Later We encountered them again in Harry Potter. As We queued up for Mario Kart in Super Nintendo world , We encountered them again lol I have been to Ireland once in September,1994 :) cheers

I was biting my nails because I really thought you weren't going to make it...glad you did though! You had me laughing when you gave your thoughts on each part of the meal..." but the cheese was nice". 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 When you go to Target again don't forget to pick up the Hawaiian salad. You will love it. You two are a hoot, I'm surprised you both are allowed to travel unaccompanied 😂 We all love travel days 👍We had a nightmare travelling home from MCO via JFK to DUB, Left MCO 2+ Hours late due to bad weather at JFK missed connection to DUB then no seats where available to DUB for 3 days so had to go back via IAD ✈️🤪 BTW Karen i thought your Right Eyebrow actually looked better than your left Eyebrow.😁
Haha! Oh no that sounds stressful especially when you're just ready to go home! haha they definitely aren't equal either way
Not entitled to compensation if delay due to weather. BA would have rebooked via next flights which to Orlando are plentiful. Try to get a BA flight from Dublin too making connection even easier if not get the Aer Lingus PNR and check in
The auxiliary power unit helps with all power when the aircraft is on the ground.

Not just power but air too which is not just needed for AC but also to start the engines

Great fun travel vlog to Orlando! Going to Disney World for sure. I'm going to Disney World in early September 1, 2023...Any tips of getting a virtual boarding pass for Tron? Do I have to wake up before 7am or I have to be at the MK to do it? How about boarding pass for Cosmic Rewind?
Thanks Paul! Yes so you need to be awake and on the app before 7am as that's when they are available and it's the same for both Tron and Cosmic Rewind plus you must have a park pass for that day for that park. You need to be in the park already if you want to try the afternoon slot.
@@KarenBee okay, I will definitely set my alarm ⏰ before 7am to get both of those boarding passes. But don’t Tron have a 1pm slot where if you don’t get it at 7am, you can try 1pm when you are in the park? Thanks!

Hey! This flight was scheduled for 9hrs 20 I think and was actually 8hrs 40 but I find it's usually between 8hrs 30 and 9hrs
I flew to Orlando with BA never again I'll only fly Aer lingus from now on
Oh dear, guessing you had a bad experience! I've definitely had some mixed experiences with both airlines but I do love the Aer Lingus direct route!
Hi Karen why are you flying to the UK when Aer Lingus fly direct to Orlando MCO .....
Hi! We were flying on a Sunday so no direct flight with Aer Lingus but also we got a really good deal on the premium economy seats with BA and it gives much higher tier points which helps me retain my silver status. The direct flight is so convenient though!
Why did you fly via UK when you can fly direct from Orlando directly from Dublin & clear U.S. customs & border protection in Dublin. Also flight from Dublin at 2pm. Much shorter travel time
We were flying on a day with no direct flight, definitely a much smoother journey to go direct but we booked with BA as I get tier points towards my silver status but also because on the way back I stayed in London.
My vote is yes for the ✈️ but no for the 🧳. I'm betting on your bags arriving on a later flight.

But you end up at Chili's and Target? And don't even show your WDW arrival or even tell us what Resort you're staying at???
I've watched literally hundreds of Walt Disney World travel day videos, but that's a first.
Sorry to disappoint lol we love Chili's and Target as we don't have them back home and we're not staying on site at Disney this trip - we're staying a friend and not showing her location for privacy reasons.
