Shit, right in the middle of your vlog I just got a dejavu being in your hotel. I'm flipping out. The memories, the feelings at that time is just mind blowing. I grew up with a barcada like yours. So much fun being a Filipino. I'm so happy you're experiencing the same memories. I'm 65 now. You will see things that will bring you back to this moment in time.
I am really missing my hometown. It’s been years and years that I have not visited my place and because of that I didn’t know that it has changed a lot. It looks more modern now. I hope there will be more lights on the streets so it will look more bright at night. Thank Kulas for promoting our Island.
Filipino craftsmanship is mind blowing. Thank you Kulas for always supporting local product wherever you go in the Philippines. Its a big help for local community. Power On!👍🙏❤️🇵🇭
That drone shot of Virac, it almost looks like a small European city, with an organized street grid lined with buildings & a big church dome in the center.
Good evening, I am missing your videos. But nice to know you are taking a little break. You are constantly busy. You're always supporting. Promoting. Great respect to you. Forever giving. Enjoyable video. Good vibes. Cool drone footage. Love the night tour. Nice to see you chilling. Thank you for sharing. Have a great weekend, safe travels.
Hi Kulas thank you for supporting local products as well as promoting them in your vlogs. FYI those green lights along the high ways/roads are called "cats eye". Cats eye reflects light coming from vehicles back to them at night . It's kind of guide specially when the area has no street lights.
Hakot pasalubongs - pasalubongs pa more!Nice selections.👍🏽 Virac looks so cool at night specially the lights on the ground. The boulevard looks like a good place to chill out. Happy vibes. 👏🏼 Carabao meat is good and lean (that’s what I heard). 👌🏼 Jundee is happy with the flip flops (looks good on him). 🤙🏽 Get some rest and safe travels to Cateel. ✌🏼Thank you and Power On!
Liked very much all the local made crafts, stoked means to fuel up the furnace , so when it comes to food or your just hungry go eat food and more food if still hungry stoked your now fueled up or full .
Ok.. Now I need to find karabao Tapa.. I enjoy how you add in the food you find all over.. Finding and trying food shows the variety you can find and not having worry about being stuck with just the same old province meals day after day.😁
Pasalubong that's one of the magic word almost everyone cherish from their loved one who visited them, be it on materials things, foods or themselves....just to see them alive and kicking is enough....thanks Kyle and Jandee..take care and stay safe always...God bless.
Though Catanduanes is a storm-stricken province basically bc its location is near a coastal area and of course not to mention the Philippines itself being sitted at the Pacific ring of fire, but Catanduanes appears to be a disaster-free province because of its beauty and its people's happy vibes. No wonder it's called the "HAPPY ISLAND", like a person's monicker. Truly makes sense. Speaking about "stoke" am not quite sure but from what I remember, I studied it in my physics or chemistry class. It's about the feeding or stirring up of wood in a fireplace or furnace or even in a bonfire to create more heat. The guy was actually right, the word usually goes with a "d" which is stoked, meaning excited or someone who is euphoric, but i guess that "surf" thing he was referring to is "stoked" as there was a tv animated series in Canada about a grom or a young surfer in which the tv series was entitled "stoked". Yet, i still don't know; he may still be right. Another example of stoked is the happy vibes of the three ladies on the street. They really were stoked at that moment. That whole stretch of Virac boulevard looks perfectly beautiful at night. Those green colored "cat's eye" they stuck on the road add more lighting for people's safe travel during night time. Saluyot according to history was originally a food staple of the Jewish people or the Egyptians in the ancient times that's why saluyot in english term is called "jew's mallow or egyptian spinach". Hey great Kyle, I mentioned from your last vlog prior to this one where you were at that lighthouse, that you should be named "Charlie" bc you had 3 angels there. And now, I noticed that you again had a chill with 3 angels down the street and then another 3 angels when you entered the coffee shop. Hmm...what's with the 3? But of course you are lucky of having 1 bc you only got 1 and that's Therine. Relaxing moment great Kyle!
Ohhhh kulas kyle your such an angel,.... your the best man! Thank you again for the support to the turism amd to the local people , i'm gonna give you a big hug. I hope every fil support each other . Always takecare yourself! And jandy
Virac is surprising me, look at the benches, hedge & sidewalk bollards with chain in 6:38- the planners got class. And those lampposts... Amazing for a provincial city
What a meaningful stay kuya Kulas and Kuya Jandee! God bless you both and Ingat po sa byahe. Excited to see Mama Rose and the rest of the gang again po.
in a single video you have managed to promote Catanduanes and Virac!!! the DOT and DTI should reward you with all sorts of good things!!! like an honorary Filipino citizenship...
This was a good trip for Kulas and Jondee. Some bonding going on, and most importantly helping out the post-typhoon villages. Great job! It's also nice to see different parts of the Philippines.
Catanduanes should be promoted as a tourist center. It has urban oasis like Virac, surf, beach, wild coasts, rural beauty, nature. They could even promote the typhoons as come-on- a unique typhoon-spotting area. Hong Kong people love typhoons. Me too
Great to see the PH local products. Pasalubong is Filipino tradition for whatever reason, you just automatically do it. I noticed a lot of Filipinos now have become business minded in their own ways...creative. Bicol has the best cacao. My husband and I looking forward with your daily vlog. Keep safe and stay healthy!
Catanduanes Island is a long time plan to visit. It`s because its exposure to the Pacific Ocean makes me wonder how the Residents live there. Besides, I am thinking that they have rare Plants and Trees. Your Vlogs about the Island is a good preparation for my next travel, from Legaspi International Airport overland exploring Bicol then further to Sorsogon and BIRI Island, Northern Samar. AURAPHIL thanks for sharing. GOD bless!
SALUYOT is a WILD EGYTIAN SPINACH as a delicacies plant vegetable originally came in THE LAND OF EGYPT but lots of that also in tropical nation or in southeastern nation like philippines, Vietnam, thailand, indonasia, even in Japan, and in china.
Saluyot is the second most cultivated plant for fiber after cotton. It is basically jute, the material used to make jute sack, etc. It is widespread in distribution including India, Southeast Asia, Africa.
Hahahaha, hobbit feet! I've been described as having hobbit feet also. Or yams. My feet are as flat as pancakes and as wide as a Kansas wheat field! Lol!
Wow Kulas thank you for sharing the Catanduanes place so awesome store’s so wonderful take care and enjoy both of you Kulas beautiful place and your good for doing the drone 🥰🥰🥰👏👏👏👍👍👍
So glad you love Catanduanes, I am from Virac and watching your blog make me so nostalgic I miss living there , it is such a happy island. Hope to go home for good one day. All the best Kulas and please stay and safe travel.
I love you Kulas! Wish I was there to explore that local artisan fair. It’s great you are supporting and promoting the local art and food. Those sustainable bags made out of saluyot looks amazing. My dad grows Salyut in California and also kankong. They are delicious! Great to see locals using local materials. Thank you for you. Love from California.
SALUYOT is one of the most valued vegetables of the Ilocanos in the North. We used it n dinengdeng and other vegetable dishes. It's slimy like okra but it's more like leaves.
Salu'yot is delicious but slimy leafy wild plant. So surprisingly stoked that it is used for fabric. I find this channel very cultural informative, educational aside from the good vibes, kahanga hangang scenery he brings us.
I've been away from Catanduanes for almost two years. I am double vaccinated and waiting in UK for Covid restrictions to be lifted so that I can return and continue my life on the island. It was very nice to see a friend of mine in the background at VTC whilst you and JD were browsing the local artisan work.
Hello Kyle and Jandee! Whats up guys? Missed you & Catanduanes/Bicol journey? Good to see you again .. keep safe & God bless your wayback to Cateel. Power On 💛🧡💚💙💜❤️🤗😍😇😎

Wow I'm homesick again. Brings back lot's of great memories. Shout out to Kuya Boy and Ate Linda at Marem's Bakery & Pension House. Fun Fact: Catanduanon's prefer Carabao meat instead of Cow meat. I myself love having Carabao Tapa, over easy eggs, and garlic rice for breakfast while I'm visiting my birthplace. Thanks Kulas. Aloha and Power On ❤❤❤
PASALUBONG is one of my favourite words in Filipino language and I love native products. Supporting local as you always do Kulas. Very nice!😊

It's like Daet or Daraga they all look like big cities despite being towns. I think it is because people from other parts of the province go to Virac
What a meaningful stay kuya Kulas and Kuya Jandee! God bless you both and Ingat po sa byahe. Excited to see Mama Rose and the rest of the gang again po.

Philippine’s Department of Tourism needs to do their job . In saying that , maybe they lack funds , who knows🤔🤔
It is like Boracay mix of urban and rural
