2024 was an overall terrible year if you really think about it. Most games were awful, and so many layoffs made things difficult and unfinished games that really made everything worse. Sure, we got some good games, but most bad than good
I literally just bought Homefront: The Revolution recently for a dollar and played it and I thought it was a decent play. Buggy and requires patience, but not bad. Gritty atmosphere and some good gunplay.
What a redemption arc for Teyon. From Rambo video game to Robocop: Rogue City. It's my favorite game from 2023. Yeah I said it, more than Baldur's Gate 3.
"Saved" isn't the right word. "Helped the franchise get back up again" is more like it, considering that the 2D side of the series was already strong with Mania.
Personally, i disagree immensely regarding Dead Rising 4, but tgats just me. I understand why others dont like it, but i love it. Its not as good as the previous games, but i still enjoy it, especially for the Mini Golf mode.

I agree. It was rather disappointing only. It's the kind of game you pick up for free. You have somewhat fun with it, then you're done. And let's be honest...Saints Row in general was always that. It was GTA on acid. Nowhere near the same quality, but that's why it worked.
-Rise of Kong looks like a game made 20 years ago. -Is WWE 2K20 set during the apocalypse? No wonder it's so bad. -Alone in the Dark is better off left in the dark. -Wasn't Sonic Boom bad because it was running on incompatible hardware? -Agents of Mayhem is supposed to be a Saints Row game? -I wouldn't mind Dead Island being in third person but why the downgraded visuals? -Vroom in the Night Sky looks like a Dreamcast game. -Balan Wonderworld = Bland Blunderworld -I hate Gollum's voice in this game. Shadow of Mordor Gollum was made almost a decade earlier and looks better. This game has the worst performance I have ever seen and that's saying something. I have enough common sense to avoid all of these games.
I loved Agents of Mayhem. I had a lot of fun playing that. Haven't played Payback or Escape Dead Island, Dead Rising 4 is pretty fun though it took me a while to get into it, and Homefront is awesome
The worst part of Dead Rising 4, I found, was how easy it was to get lost or stuck when it came to reaching certain mission points. The world map would show you way waypoints over the centre of the mall but not clarify if the missions were INSIDE or OUTSIDE. And finding the right path to get to some of them was damn near impossible!
WWE 2K20 is the worst WWE game I have ever played. The 2K Originals was straight up highway robbery as I wanted to played as "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt as I played as Finn Balor but I got destroyed by a Zombie Randy Orton. The 2K Towers was bullshit, The 2K Showcase with the Four Horsewomen was boring and the MyCareer Mode with Red and Tre is crap me and XxKykiske2007xX hated playing it as they put stupid shit on the list like getting their own acting figure, being in a WWE 2K game, winning a crybaby match with Razor Ramon/Scott Hall and win a dance off with a fucking dancing rib. It's no wonder why 2K cancelled WWE 2K21 and put the series on hiatus for 2 years until WWE 2K22 revitalized the franchise.
If not for infinite and "into your face" enemy spawns and bugged achievements i actually enjoyed Homefront:The revolution. Maybe it was because i like newer Far Cries like 5.
Agents of Mayhem has glitches so bad it literally breaks the game for me. I can't finish the game unless I start it all over again, and I am not starting it over.
If you can find Rambo for PC cheap, then it actually can be quite fun, either like a guilty pleasure, mindless entertainment or just "so bad it's good". Just don't pay more then a few dollars for it, and only play with a mouse, not on console or with a controller. One reason is that because you're fighting cops in the first levels, you won't get any points for lethal shots, you can only shoot them in the legs. But the auto aiming when using controllers will move the crosshair to their chest.
Does anybody at MojoPlays know that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 was a MULTIPLAYER game? And yet they put it on a list of the 15 worst single player games of the last decade. And it’s true, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 was made more with Multiplayer in mind.

You forgot batman dark tomorrow for the Xbox. Batman dark tomorrow is truly the worst game of all time. Homefront wasn't to bad but homefront had so many glitches while your playing the game. Characters just disappear and reappear out of nowhere.
@KisekiFan , i think Saints Rows biggest flaw was calling it Saints Row. It was always destined to fail when put up against the original series but on its own, it was OK. If they were smart, they'd do SR6 and have the original crew go wipe out the new crew for being "posers."
You should also put The Callisto Protocol on the list as well. It's one of the worst games I've ever played. I regret buying it because the dodging mechanics of it are so bad, reloading weapons is slow. When they announced it a few years ago, I was left speechless because I thought it was going to be good and it looked great, but I was wrong because it wasn't good. They even had one of the makers from Dead Space make it and again it's bad. They even had the audacity to enhance it for the ps5 pro console, what the studio should do is fixed what many people have said which is make dodging better, not waste time enhancing it for the ps5 pro. What's the point of them enhancing it when it'll be the exact same mess
I was lucky that I haven't played Balan Wonderworld cuz I never knew the narrative. It's like a rip-off version of Sonic or Crash Bandicoot. This is why I don't play platformers that much.
No matter how bad Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric on Wii U is I've been interested and looking that game for a while because for me that game looks just nice and I love Sonic Boom cartoon and Fire & Ice game too! There are some I disagree with like Pay Back or Home Front. They weren't bad they where average. Wait where was Crying is mot enough, or the game about the def kid, suicide squad, or Marveal Avenger's, Anthem, you missed a lot of games that was Worse than Payback or homefront, heck even Angets of mayhem. Not the best list imo. But I enjoyed it.
Yes,Sonic boom rise of Lyric was bad! Mostly because it was a movie tie in game put on a system it was not designed for! [The wiiU]! But it was still better then Sonic 06! Even if you ignore everything else,you have to admit,it had audosave! And the speed sections gave you more chances to get hit then 06's! And there was no retcon ending!😎
Homefront the revolution is amazing and Agents of Mayhem is Awesome combined with fortnite and saints row and i loved playing as Johnny Gat it's all lot fluid to play as Johnny Gat and Need for speed payback is Solid and Escape Dead Island is pretty decent at best.

And ya know it Bub Bub. Home front is cheep and it's aight. DR 4 is a Smoke a cone and go it alone. Get Toasted and the Zombies get roasted. So in short , Showty. Afro samari Kool premise. Smelling Flavors and Tasting Colors. Yep.
The writer doesn't know the difference between "not as good" and "bad'. Was Dead Rising 4 bad? No. Just worse then it's predecessors. NfS Paypack wasn't good. But overall not " bad". They don't compare close to the other Titles on the List.
The Last of Us Part 2 has a horrible story, granted, but the gameplay aspect itself and the visuals are pretty much revolutionary. I get shocked every time I return to it with how realistic it feels
I will disagree with you about outlast 2 because it is fun and scary at the same time, the last of us is not that bad, it has dissapointed story but the gameplay and next gen graphics is very enjoyable and the cyberpunk is bug when it first released but after some fixes and patches, it is really good .But I know you have your own preference and opinion and I respect it.

Totally, it takes some time to get that true Dead Rising feel, but once you get further into the game it is pure entertainment!

NFS Payback was fine mechanically, fun even. But the mix of a poor story and some of the worst progression in any game ever just mess EVERYTHING up.

Was Dead Rising 4 bad? No. Just worse then it's predecessors.

"Outlast 2", "The Last of Us Part II", "Cyberpunk 2077", "Thief", and "Forspoken" should've been on this list.
The Last of Us Part 2 has a horrible story, granted, but the gameplay aspect itself and the visuals are pretty much revolutionary. I get shocked every time I return to it with how realistic it feels
All those games have several redeeming qualities at lease.
I will disagree with you about outlast 2 because it is fun and scary at the same time, the last of us is not that bad, it has dissapointed story but the gameplay and next gen graphics is very enjoyable and the cyberpunk is bug when it first released but after some fixes and patches, it is really good .But I know you have your own preference and opinion and I respect it.
Cyberpunk was bad at launch but the 2.0 patch and phantom liberty expansion redeemed it.
