Kinda weird that Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts isn’t on this list, because back in it’s day and even now by some players, it’s one of the games that is well received by critics but hated by the fans.
MK11 was great. In fact, I dare say it’s my favorite fighting game to date. The microtransactions didn’t effect me, because the currency for them is easy enough to earn via just playing. The original story mode was awesome. The meters for special moves are far better handled than in other NRS games. The crushing blow are a great addition. My only complaint about it is the DLC story. THAT deserves even MORE notice, with approximately one hundred and ten THOUSAND DOLLARS in microtransactions that were Forced on players all throughout the game, and Overly Scummy and Predatory business practices by Blizzard. It has close to 70 from reviewers, and a 0.5 from fans.
I’m a little surprised TLOU2 was #20, if it was going to be on here at all. I don’t think users overall hated it. If they played it one time, maybe. But the more I played it, the more it meant to me. What a lot of fans that didn’t like it do not think about is if the story had not taken the path it did, we wouldn’t have gotten more story at all. And I think part 2 made the universe richer.
I’ve always perceived the Mojo orders to have some significance and not coincidence. Since many users did love part 2, that’s probably why it wasn’t anywhere near #1.

I personally hated the ending of the first game, but the second not only made up for it, but also had a fantastic story that explores both sides (like Captain America Civil War), and came full circle in the end. Of course, it wouldn’t matter if the gameplay wasn’t good (as we know from how Cyberpunk 2077 was released), but thankfully it is. It kept the same selling point from the first game, in which you have to take a smart approach on every encounter, rather than going guns blazing. Even easy mode doesn’t let you change that.

I don’t hate Pokemon Sword and Shield. Fight me. I think that the National Dex being cut from the games was a wise decision, as you wouldn’t have a lot of PC Boxes to hold every single Pokemon in the game. Sword and Shield also gave us some great Pokemon competitive wise like Copperajah, Regieleki, Dragapult, and many more. What I don’t like about Sword and Shield is the lack of characters from older generations, which in previous generations, was good world building. I care about what others say about games because each year there's approximately 2,000 new games. And the demonstrate this is except the critics probably review only a hundred or so of them a year. Critics Review games as their job. The rest of us don't have as much time as they have to play games so I checked the reviews before I purchase a game. If it has a reasonably good review I'll watch some gameplay and stuff. Then I might purchase it still sometimes the game doesn't turn out as good as I hoped.
@@andu1854 Imagine if GOW 2 had all the same promotional material of Kratos doing badass Kratos stuff but he gets killed off by a random Draugr in the first hour and you then follow this Draugr for half the game and Atreus as half the game including the basic introductory levels. It's a significantly worse story and told very sloppily compared to the first game which is a tight, clean narrative. There's highlights but the game, dialogue, character writing, development, and story are a significant downgrade.

A nice thing with the Final Fantasy XIII games is there's been a recent surge of appreciation and liking them for what they did, brought, and how it still holds up to where people are like "Wow, these are unironically better than Final Fantasy XVI". I also expect Life is Strange: Double Exposure to show up on one of these in the future, because that game, its story, and more is...ooof.
Also I could think of few classic games like "Alpha Protocol " , was not a great game at all .But was given some thumbs up by Critics .Which I listen too , at the time before the game came out .Plus the Developers , and their bullshit on the game .Which most developers are full of shit .And trying hustle you for their games , which sometimes suck ! But Critics give the game couple of thumbs up .
Who is hating on last of us part 2? It is the best single player story driven game I ever played. Games in 2024 still can’t hold a candle to that game. Alan wake 2 came close.

I'm like halfway through the video and every game released in the 2010s or after. Feels good to be a retro gamer 😎
I felt sword n shield was way too hand holdy and easy to over level
who the hell even trust critics nowadays
I like the majority of the last of us part 2
I care about what others say about games because each year there's approximately 2,000 new games. And the demonstrate this is except the critics probably review only a hundred or so of them a year. Critics Review games as their job. The rest of us don't have as much time as they have to play games so I checked the reviews before I purchase a game. If it has a reasonably good review I'll watch some gameplay and stuff. Then I might purchase it still sometimes the game doesn't turn out as good as I hoped.
STRAFELID IS AMAZING
Battlefront 2 2017 was sabtoaged then redeemed then murdered.
Am I being controvesial here? But Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
TLOU2, critics nowadays are a joke.
That isn't even a surprise because IGN gave transformers one a 5/10 review before the film came out.
I really liked TLOU 2, game play and combat is fun and sorry video game fans can’t get over a fictional characters death
Player who hate it: 😜
@@AnEnemyAnenomeI mean I prefer if they would have killed of Joel later in the story because killing him early unbalanced the story, but otherwise I had no problem with the game.
I liked ac vahalla
SWSH should be replaced with Scarlet and Violet.
Diablo 4 is good game... Players hate for game is for updates...
Players have no brain power.
Metacritic reviews suck and so does just any review site the best way is to watch a video of the game and make up your mind for yourself because I one is gonna help you
Blazblue CTB should be here.
I would like to see FF13 saga be remastered.
Driv3r anyone?
Dragon Age 2 is the best Dragon Age
Including Overwatch 2 is just disingenuous
Critics always give high scores because they get payed off (Dragon Age The Veilguard)
IGN giving it 9 is hilarious, I think it’s a 7 and I’ll admit even that is pretty generous. It’s okay, not trash, not brilliant.
*The last of us part 2 is wasted potential 👎*
What do know what the have for potential? So unprofessional
@mattiasolsson1523 The gameplay and graphics are 10/10 but the story is dog shit .
I disagree about the story line, Abby was justified in killing Joel (sorry fan boys But Joel was a broken piece of crap who killed a ton of people )
@@andu1854 You have the right to be wrong .
@@houssainesong
Its not so terrible, would you defend that Sonic 06 has a better story than TLOU2 if you know that game?
Yeah I didn’t get far in ff13. Sucked to me
Anything critics like is always shit
Also I could think of few classic games like "Alpha Protocol " , was not a great game at all .But was given some thumbs up by Critics .Which I listen too , at the time before the game came out .Plus the Developers , and their bullshit on the game .Which most developers are full of shit .And trying hustle you for their games , which sometimes suck ! But Critics give the game couple of thumbs up .
but some gamers LOVE these games...!

Interesting how almost all woke games happen to be bad. It’s almost like ideology kills creativity.
Seriously? Are you guys EVER going to get tired of unfairly bashing Halo 5: Guardians?! Because I consider it GREAT entry in the Halo series.
Its complete trash not sure what you mean, do you remember chief vs locke and how cringe that was
you took user-score of mortal kombat 11 for the ps4. the others are way better
I wonder why there aren't any games from 2024. 😏
Still too recent.
@@jeuryrabassa4724 I know; I was being sarcastic.
I didn't mind diablo 4 yea it could have been a bit more player friendly but my biggest problem with it is the always online garbage lol
Cough cough, FAILguard, cough cough
EVOLE!!!!!!!!!! Was before its time I love that game ppl are clowns
14:18 is that a jojo reference?
Street fighter V was bad lol
Deathloop is a gem 💎
Who is hating on last of us part 2? It is the best single player story driven game I ever played. Games in 2024 still can’t hold a candle to that game. Alan wake 2 came close.
BioWare Activision Ubisoft EA sucks lol
Most these games I enjoy. So players are just crying lately
Critics probably don’t really play games. Too busy analyzing games to fit certain agenda
20:36 *Ahem* WRONG Mojo. New heroes are NOT locked behind the battlepass anymore. Learn to keep up with the game. 🙄
such a clickbait video, they even added DA2 instead of the recernt trashbag
“Industry Shills Greatest Hits” should be the title
What about Mortal Kombat 1?
Burn the Last of us 2!
Burn the LGBTQ stuff shoe horned into it,
Burn the rigged awards show that gave it all those awards it didin't earn,
and burn the narrative consultant company that helped make it!
Also burn Final fantasy 13 3!
Such a waste of a game!😡
Final Fantasy XIII has seemingly gotten a resurgence of appreciation in recent times. And well deserved too.
Yeah, it's absolutely well deserved. Back during pride month, I saw a ton of extra Fang/Vanille appreciation that hadn't been there the past few years.
I would like to see a FF13 remastered
I still hate Final Fantasy XIII with a burning passion, as it was my favorite video game franchise since the late 80s, and it basically ruined the entire franchise. That said, we all have opinions, and I definitely respect yours, and I'm glad that you enjoyed it.
@affliction1979 I mean hey, regardless of what people may think of Final Fantasy XIII, I can be relieved in knowing "well, at least it's not Final Fantasy XVI".
@@SpanishFly120, I didn't care for XVI myself, but for a different reason. It tries to be way too edgy, violent and crude. Granted, I can appreciate a nice violent game, but I don't think that it fit well within the Final Fantasy franchise.
About of this video's games that critics loved, but players hated there's one game that I've played, but didin't hated because I actually loved it and love still: Pokémon Sword & Shield I really like how good they look to be the first Pokémon games that aren't remakes for the Nintendo Switch I still remember christmas 2019 when I got Pokémon Sword I wanted Sword because I like Zacian more, it's logo looks almost like my home country Finland's police logo and there's one of my favourite fighting type gymleader Bea, but I wan't to get Shield because Zamazenta and ghost type gym are awesome too! Sonya is one of the best okay beautiful Pokémon professor, Hop is a nice rival, Bede is cool, Marnie is cute, I like the gymleaders defienitily Kabu, Nessa, Bea, Piers and Raihan, Rose and Oleana are surprisilly good Pokémon villains defienitily Rose and last, but not least Leon is one of my all time favourite champions because it's design is so cool, it have Charizard my favourite gen 1 starter, it's theme song and final champion battle are amazing and it's not too hard champion! Gen 8 Galarian Pokémon are nice Scorbunny is my favourite starter, I like Wooloo, Boltund, Corviknight, Morpeko, Applin, Toxitricity and Runerigus, Wild Area is a great idea and 3 years older Pokémon games Sword & Shield still looks better than Scarlet & Violet what's funny, but I like that and respect Sword & Shield so I love Pokémon Sword & Shield! 🌃🏟🏞🏰👑🛡🐺🗡👟⚽️🔥
