Who am I?
Expert singing teacher, specialising in teaching children and young adults in singing and musical theatre. She has worked with the likes of The Saturdays for MTV, on shows such as Just the Two of Us for the BBC and many more. Throughout her years of teaching she has judged in many competitions, judging Lucy Spraggan, George Samson, amongst others who have gone onto succeed in the business.
I am the founder of Vocaltutor, (founded 2003) the UK’s largest vocal and singing tuition network and now The New Foundry Studios which opened in 2013.
I have worked with BBCTV on Just the Two of Us, with many celebrities including Natasha Hamilton of Atomic Kitten, plus has worked for ITV on many children’s TV programmes including The Worst Witch, as their vocal coach.

I've seen Shawn live twice, in 2917 and last year. His voice is definitely changing, getting thicker because of touring and more matured. It's really personal preference on liking which stage of his voice. But he's really talented, can't wait to see what this era is about!!

As he might be on a travel to him self, i really like the emotions he put into this video and the song. Its not about super general toppics, its a real inside of his world and struggels. The rawness and the tender, it seems he is more and more confident with it to just let it go a little bit more..
Generally, i think its really cool when male singers show off their inside and a more mature, maybe „uncommon", gentle or insecure personality.

He’s way better than Taylor
He has a good voice, I don't dislike him and I don't hate the recording. The track starts off so well, with a kind of atmosphere I get from a Symphonic Metal band, but then it totally simplified with a computer software beat. It also lacked natural instrumentation and melody, which is common in Pop. He will do well with this recording. With Pop it is about keeping it simple to around 3 to 4 notes, where the gratification of the sound has to be near instant. Complexity will be too much for a young audience.
