This is just another failed addition in Pogo, the majority of us will never win a gigantamax raid because of the amount of people needed to do one. You actually had to travel to Tokyo to do it. I can’t even get 5 people for a 5* raid.
This is terrible. How will players eat these monsters if there are not enough of them in small towns?? Not at all. There are about 10 of us playing, we have no chance. I'm very sorry for that and I feel deprived again because people in rural areas can't do anything. Horror Niantic, horror 😢
I live in a highly populated suburb and still can't get enough people together. It's great if you're an influencer in a big city but for the rest of us, it's not working.

Even if you live in a big enough town and have lots of players, people have jobs. It's hard to get that many people together all at one time. I gotta request off work and take vacation time just to do Com Days and special global Events... but that stuff I can do solo. Can't guarantee that many people will all go out at the exact same time. We all have other lives outside of this game.

Unfortunately these raids are essentially inaccessible to most players. Allowing 1 or 2 remotes per person that's actually at the raid would be a decent compromise
@brianwenzel912 the game was designed with a certain type of play in mind which is in person. Remote raids were only put in because of the pandemic so unfortunately anything remote is a compromise as it's not the intent of the game design.
@brianwenzel912 definitely not. We had a community ambassador and only managed 25. Some came 30 minutes as well. The games completely different but unfortunately i don't think niantic will ever go back to the way it was during the pandemic
I got 9 done yesterday. I had to BUY the energy packs since for some stupid reasons there’s a cap for how much energy you can collect per day 🙄 my first raid was a SHINY Venusaur 14/15/12

Disappointed in this video and feel that it is tone deaf. This entire system excludes half of the player base. Sad that creators are not using their voice to represent people that cannot even participate, but instead, throw money at Niantic.
A way to fix this system is to allow players to play online if they are currently at a GMax or DMax raid. It can use up your raid so you have to walk to a new one but at least you will be able to participate in these events no matter where you are. The buisniss model is a whole other ethical issue but it would be great if you don’t have to spend money on a plane ticket to play a game

Congrats on all the shiny gigantimax wins. I do not have nearly enough people to do these battles. I also have not invested any candy or max particles to power up my few dynamax pokemon either. It just wasn't a feature that interested me at all. I rarely do 5 star or mega raids unless there's a global go fest when people are actually out playing in my area. I personally am just trying to complete the dex. Also, catching shiny ones occasionally.
This content is only for people in cities. We live in a medium sized town and can only get 15-20 accounts so can't complete any! Even with those of us who can maxing the dynamax etc
we were 18 and we did it, there is a way to do it, u need 3 attackers and 1 healer in each team, 3 throw the attack while the 1 healer keeps healing up
I didn't do any of these yesterday, and members of my group are planning to hit up a location in about 20 minutes where there are going to be others playing. We're totally expecting a crapshow.
It was a struggle getting people together for these but we were able to complete three yesterday and three so far today. We have another group meeting later for more. It really sucks for the people that cant do these. Im happy i got a shiny Venusaur though!
My group in NZ struggled with these raids, we spent sooo much stardust. Was hard trying to get everyone together, got 19 ppl total and we done x1 venasuar and x1 blastoise but thats the only raids our town could do ( same town as Mrblake JT)
Charizard is my favorite by far and also I live in New York City and was only able to bring down one raid after two hours of trying these things are just so hard

Niantic really dropped the ball on these… I’m not even gonna attempt any of these raids… it’s a bit hypocritical how they say they raised the remote raid price to detour people from sitting on their couch raiding but they make raids inaccessible and now even worse with these gigantimax raids most are even more locked out and for added sting “pay 200 coins for more awards” ill just watch your vids and enjoy your luck,..
Every medium city in the Netherlands is having the same.. many spots but no players... Even on a raid day you hardly see 4 people... Niantic saying thank you spoofers for keeping the game alive
I live vicariously through pogo RUclipsrs for these GMax Pokemon. I have a shiny GMax Charizard and Venusaur in Pokemon Shield so I can at least be happy I have them somewhere 😂 (also wish the GMax shiny Charizard had blue flames instead of orange)
Managed to gather 30 people for gmax raids, and only was able to do one of each boss before people were done for the day. Unfortunately the venusaur i did ran, so i only have 2 of the 3 😢
The lowest amount of people I successfully took a Blastoise down with was 20 and since I had the strongest counter (shiny g-max venusaur) I had to carry the group by healing but it WAS possible in the long run. I still think these need a drastic nerf to help rural players

If these are only the starters, I can’t imagine how the others will be to try to take down… 100+ people and for what?!?! to only be able to use them for other gmax raids. lets do some math 50 gigantamax at 800 particles per. 1 max particle pack (800 particles) for 150 coins. 100 coins is a dollar so 1.50 per battle so $1.50x50=$75. So now you have 50 Pokémon that can only use its full benefit in gigantamax raids. There's no way im ever going to do this part of the game. On top of that requiring huge numbers of people to use them!! Nah im good. this is a horrible scummy cash grab
$6 of bus fares 2 hours traveling & 100K dust spent just for 1 of each gmax starter. Like, I'm glad I got them, but was it worth the price? No 90+% & none wanted to interact with me at the ambassador MU, like I feared; I dunno bout this. And now I can only 1 or (theoretically) 2 more today. Not wasting $ on this.
