Cool vid very informative and thanks for sharing!
Wow that’s a ton more gear than what I carried in the Marine Corps AAV. I need to step up my game.
3:26 Put Magpul covers over those mags (they come free with them)
Storing loaded mags *bends* the plastic mag lips. Nothing will happen to your springs, and metal mags don't have this bent lip issue.
But plastic mags do - put those covers over these (Unless you've already thrown them away :) but if you did just buy new ones...)
Only the best from this show. Field tested & functional. Cheers Digger.! Greetings from Australia.
The PAGST helmet does have ballistic capabilities, it has Kevlar on the inside, and is rated level IIIA. It is relevant for smaller calibers like pistol (22 to 44 mag)
Al Gore’s Rhythm
Nice! I like the battle box idea and your kit. This is the first time I’ve run into your channel, new subscriber. 👍🏼😊
Man that box holds a lot of gear
you better put more ar mags in that rig and some ar mags on your war belt
Very good kit
4:32 if you are doing vehicle operations (like 4:07) keeping your back clear of any items saves your lower back when sitting.
Not a problem for 10 minutes, but driving somewhere for longer can be a problem.
If you're used to it in your car, remember, in a SHTF you might not be in your car but riding with someone else.
Some of the *lightweight* stuff you can put on leg holsters and you won't even notice.
Medkit for example - it won't destroy your back, and you won't even notice it on your leg as it's light.
Well done. A very well thought out system. Semper Fi brother. 🇺🇸
Ty
Nice box
I have a kit bag similar to that. Great gear, logical and effective, if needed. Video is a great example of gear for a minuteman load out.
Thanks for sharing
Got pretty much the same case with my kit. Love it. Bought it for like $60 years ago. Mine however came with a kick ass net divider that sits inside the lid. Might see if you can add that as it holds a lot of little extras.
That Helmet does have ballistic capabilities, it’s got an outer layer and an inner layer…. The outer layer is made to penetrate slow the projectile , and then the inner layer will hold hopefully riding the projectile around your dome till it comes out the side or back….. That’s assuming if it works correctly, you still won’t know until you wake up in the hospital with a decent concussion..
I’m going to hang out with him in a battle. Because I can not Carry all that weight. An want to Live though a gun fight. But very cool stuff. For a young person. I have a battle belt slime plate Carrier. An carry 3 + 1 in AR15 an 2+1 9mm water an medical + 3 tourniquets. In do not want to carry that.

Awesome, well thought out and logical kit. I’m in the process of looking for a good duffel bag with wheels in order to do what you did and have all my equipment in a centralized place and organized.
Right on!
I know this is an older video, though ironically becoming more pertinent by the day regardless . . .
I was curious, do you have any potential problems with long-term environmental storage? How long have you had your gear stored in that case? Is it in a climate-controlled area? What about dissicants, do you use any of those for long-term preservation of ammo and such, or do you change the ammo out very regularly?
I'm always wondering about long-term environmental storage hazards but that might just be my conditioning to the rainforest parts of the PNW where humidity is high year-round and it rains 6-8 months out of the year. I know a lot of the more Minuteman-type people are from places like Utah and western Texas where it's basically just dry desert year-round and dont need to worry about moisture getting into ammo and the like . . .
I'd keep those rifle mags on the carrier facing the same way for consistency purposes.
8 month old comment, but something to keep in mind is the offhanded reload. Having a mag flipped the other way can make all the difference in not having to fumble
@@OakwoodMachineWorks Who reloads from their weak side? Most average guys aren't practicing strong sided reloads enough to be good at them, much less their weak side. Also, Most credible CQB instructors don't seem to even teach swapping shoulders anymore.
I also think if (for some reason) I've got my weapon on my opposite shoulder and it goes dry, I'm going to my pistol or getting cover and doing a strong sided reload.
Not saying you're wrong, but I am saying that I think that overcomplicates things and if I'm in a gunfight, then I want that stuff to be as simple as possible so I can focus on the fight. I don't know any professional who does that and thinks it's worthwhile.
That being said, if you actually train shooting, reloads, malfunction clearing, etc, with both strong and weak side and practice it in dryfire and live fire while weighing the pros and cons of all it, and have come to that conclusion, more power to you. I'd challenge you to try those things at the range with a timer strong and weak sided and compare.
It's just better for the average Joe who doesn't do all that training and dryfireing in their kit to keep it simple. I don't mean any of this in an offensive way and simply want to help prompt thoughts and discussion on how to efficiently, and effectively run a gun.
The Kevlar helmet will be better and more protected if you put the modern helmet pads in it
Everything is in multicam, except everything that's not 😂
I'll take things I'll never use for $300. 😅 The belt and the pack for sure. Everything else is extra weight. Micro rigs have become more popular than body armor. It's light. You can move quicker. I like that pelican case though.
You can move till you get shot and then your not 😂moving anymore
Get yourself a waterproof case for those batteries to help protect them better
Looks good.
Pelican = Waterproof and durable is a smart move.
Does anyone know where to get this stuff
Glock. You run a Glock. I see. I'm sorry.
Go NAVY!
Nice gear..I need to get my stuff in one place.. 60 round mag in a barrel. Huh rural King has a 60 round banana in stock
That’s a heavy load. Stream line the carrier . We didn’t Carey that much gear on our plate carrier in the Marines .
War chest aok more stuff than we can carry
What’s your AR capacity on the mags
Most likely 30 rounds
That helmet may have delaminated after all these years. So it may not stop fragmentation anymore.
That is the MCU-2P gas mask. I suggest replacing
This guy needs some more amo😂
👍🇺🇸
What if you get shot in the neck?
