Do you know how to look at a value from Excel multiple sheets ? In this video we will learn how to use VLOOKUP to look up the value from multiple sheets. We can increase the power of VLOOKUP by combining VLOOKUP with excel’ s another formula called Indirect. This is the magical combination that helps us to look up the value and extract the value from multiple sheets.
If we have data across multiple sheets then first we have to give a name to our data which is presented across multiple sheets and after giving a name we can use this combination of VLOOKUP + indirect.

Sirji, excel sabhi sheet same column ke Hoge ye jaruri nahi hai. Kisi sheet par 3 column kisi sheet par 4-6 column rahe toh uska bhi video banaye. Kese karege.

Sir , mere pass branch wise alag alag sheet hai, jisme invoice no to same coloum mein hai sab sheets mein, lekin Jo data baki coloums mein hai wo sab sheets mein aage peeche coloum mein hai, aur mujhe master sheet banani hai jismein mere pass colum a mein baranches hai coloum bmein invoice no hai mujhe invoice ke base per baaki sabhi sheets mein Jo coloum Hain un data fetch kerna hai,

Invoice number should become your look up value and based on that you can extract the data from multiple sheets.
You can use either vlooup+indirect or power query.

Second method is easier ..but wat was the use of name manager??

Name manager is very useful when you have to deal with complex formulas where you have to select cells range again and again.
Once you give a name to cells range you no need to select cells range again and again instead you can type given name in formulas to select cells range aromatically.
In this video we have total 5 tables and in vlookup we can not select multiple tables and to incorporate multiple tables we have to use name manager to give name to each 5 tables.
