Thanks for the insightful video. Definitely going to use this method!
Good video, thank you. Many videos show different methods. Some use heat guns, steamers and some use trash bags. I think you did a great job.
Hi Karelle! Great video! it helped a bunch!
that was so very nice and i learned something after I watch this video..
Glad you learned something. 👍🏽
I'm proud of you
So I guess not a lot of people know this but go get a bottle of nail polish remover put it in a spray bottle and it will take that glue off fast way faster than this. Also works on any type of adhesive and it works on superglue too.
Watching this woman peel the defrosted lines off hurts my soul. Just use a freaking hair dryer if you dont have a heat gun.
If I peeled the defroster lines off, then why do they still work? 🤔 There’s too many wanna be Know It Alls on RUclips. Smh
And a heat gun doesn’t work all the time. It all depends on the tint.
Trash bag method from the start is the best way. Starting without is very risky
Looks like you would hurt the rear defroster take some of the lines off.....idk
I just have 1 question please
What tools were those you used to like iron out the plastic onto the glass???
It’s called a tint squeegee
Or a Bondo card
Dude nobody else's tint comes off that easy lol
You also damaged the deforster pulling it off dry
Nope
She has no idea what she’s doing 🤦🏻♂️
@@bossman5161 Defroster works fine. Drama queens 😂
You can literally see where she pulled off some of the lines 🤣
@@d.l.9517 time stamp? And if I pulled them off then why do they still work? 🤔
Why you need the trash bag for??
For the glue to come off when you peel the tint off
@KarelleDIY in the video. It clearly shows that the person is pulling the tint not the bag. While the bag is just almost not doing anything. Just falling off.
@@user-ol3yd8mx3c Read my previous comment again. “For the glue to come off when you peel the TINT off”.
I clearly said peel the tint. The trash bag is used so glue won’t be left on the window when you peel the tint. I never said anything about pulling the bag.
@KarelleDIY In my opinion. The sun did it. Not the bag nor the 409. Because 409 will not penetrate the plastic tint. And the plastic is just there for show. I've had similar or better results using the sun and a hair dryer. 🤷🏽♂️
@@user-ol3yd8mx3c it does penetrate it. I had to wipe up that yellow degreaser from the window one it was peeled off. It was hazy
STOP!! If you’re watching this for tutorial on how to remove your back window tint you’re CRAZY!!
First off, what state do live in that the back window can’t be “too dark”? Only on driver and front passenger is illegal in most states. Second, you’re literally peeling off the defroster as soon as you started. I don’t think you even know what a defroster is. PLEASE delete this video to spare some people’s windows who’s thinking about following your terrible advice.
Shows how much you know. Lol. The state I live in the tint can’t be more than 40% and the defroster lines work just fine. I owned my own tinting company for several years, so you can stop with the drama. Don’t get your panties in a bunch 🤡
OK BOSSMAN
@@KarelleDIYhe said that she pulled off her defroster lines when she started, which she did 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Congratulations I bet the rear defroster doesn't work anymore
Actually they do, thanks for your concern tho
@@KarelleDIY O wow really? Was there any break in the defrost lines?
@@VictorWolf5146 I'll make a video when it's cold enough to show you since you're so concerned. 😂
