What's actually shocking to me is how fast Magnus realises her move.

I saw another vid where Magnus saw the move sequence immediately in a sac situation, and took me minutes to figure out.

great analysis, i really enjoyed the fact take you included some non-chess elemnts into it - the conversation between them, her body language

Even if you're Magnus, playing Judit is like walking in a shadowy room littered with vipers.
The slightest misstep, and you're done. She is just brilliant in absolute terms.
There are maybe 5 persons on the planet capable of competing with Magnus in bullet.
Judit being a lady is absolutely irrelevant. She is one of the strongest players in history.
There are basically no grandmasters around she did not scorch at least once.
Having a time machine, I'd just love to see Polgar against Morphy and Tal.
    Imagine the sparkles...

I understand you are a fan but let’s not pretend she could ever beat a male super GM in a proper tournament.

@@Jjboxing like she did, when she was what, 11 years old? And again, later? There are few grandmasters she did not beat at least once. And all these games are wonderful. Document yourself. At peak career she was 8th in the world, in the absolute rank. This means only seven men (and no women) could beat her, at that moment. How many grandmasters are there in total?
And mind that very few of the big names never falled against Polgar, "in proper tournements".
      Document yourself.
Yes I am a fan. And Tal's, and Morphy's, and Ivanchuck's. I like attackers capable of thinking out of the box. Polgar is among the best, pointers or sitters.

@@ilmaio perhaps she beat some low level GMs, however my comment still stands. Judit has never beaten a *super* GM in a proper tournament.

I a 100 classical match Polgar won't even win a single game.. she might draw a couple but can't win... Carlsen will win lots and not loose one game

    • @MrNN85
      @MrNN85 11 месяцев назад

That's not true, Judit had a peak elo rating of over 2700, which would put her in the category of super GM:s, with todays standards. Magnus has never played 100 games against a 2700 + rated player and never lost a single game. That just does not happen. For example, Magnus vs Kramnik played 27 games, and Magnus lost 5 of those. Magnus vs Shirov played 27 games, and Magnus lost 2 of those. Magnus vs Nepomniachtchi played 23 games, Magnus lost 4 of those. The list goes on and on. So Judit would most definitely win a couple of games in classical chess if she and Magnus played 100 times.

She's not your average GM, even out of shape I'm sure she would win games against Carlsen

    • @gaborcsordas

Who knows, what would happen? Judit is btw. retired from chess so even if you were right, that wouldnt mean a thing. At her peak she beat Kasparov as the only woman to ever beat a world champion if im correct, so Judit 20 years ago vs. Carlsen would surely be a competitive match.
