I know I love how she does all the harmonizing on this and deeper and deeper and X process and then it's all Blended together it's a beautiful idea. Of course she has backup singers on stay but on her album all the harmonizing is her singing different verses
as someone who grew up on this album, like listened to death could still sing every word of every song 23 years later to death, it was so interesting to hear this. it's like a new dimension added. a fresh take on a song i'd become numb to. thanks.

But then again Madonna's style is different & what she does works for her & has it's own uniqueness which is why she stands out from the above. It's really up to the listeners preference, but everyone is different. I think she had a VERY pretty voice & her ballads next to her pop hits are untouchable. Her voice was made for both & she in turn made it work for her as we see.

Meaning, they aren't known for their vocal prowess, but they do a great show with singing and dancing. Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Patti Labelle, Celine Dion, Kelly Clarkson are vocalists and notice most of them don't dance or "perform". It's not a diss on either group. I enjoy ALL of the artists I listed and love their songs but I respect them for different reasons.
