Absolutely great video you really get a fantastic view of the trains and I like the way you zoom in and out i mean this is just a great video fantastic job
Wow! that's lots of ACTION! One train after another, you must've been there at rush hour. It's too bad that MTH or Lionel didn't model the M-6 as that would've been nice. Thanks for your upload, good job!
It's not that busy except maybe during rush hour. I've used that station before and trains only stop there I think every hour or so (when it is not rush hour). Also, when I was there me, my Mom and my sister were the only people on the platform! I didn't see any diesel there - those go to Wassaic or Danbury and only operate during rush hour. Most trains skip this station, only the locals to North White Plains stop here.
I was going to mention something about the old small power substation that looks like it dates back to the days of New York Central just north of the Wassaic-bound platform, but I see you have some shots of it already.
I see traffic slowed the 1st few trains down. Oddly enough, the speed limit there is 75mph (just between Botontical Gardens and south of Woodlawn) where the speed limit changes to 60mph.
@Nexis4Jersey yeah speed limits for the New Haven at least since Woodlawn junction is at the next station (Woodlawn) which splits to the New Haven and the Harlem line.
Hudson Line - GCT to Croton Harmon & Poughkeepsie Harlem Line - GCT to North White Plains, Southeast & Wassaic New Have Line - GCT to Stamford & New Haven New Cannaan Branch - GCT to New Canaan, CT Danbury Branch - GCT to Danbury, CT
6 trains in the first clip. That is impressive!
Really nice cetches! Great shot with the Metro-north p32 in the old paint scheme!! Great video in my opinion.

Are they running the P32AC-DM in third rail or prime mover mode?

Could do with a little less zoom-zoom-zoom-ing. Otherwise, great vid!
Metra in Chicago is a lot better! The Metro North and NJ Transit are too expensive and their services are not that good, but nice video.
