    Video: Is about parts of the rivers and doesn't explain how the rivers are formed at all.

      High levels of rain and snow, combined with steep slopes in the upper course, causes the river to start flowing downhill in the upper course and then it goes through the other courses until it reaches the sea. That's what the video tells you. That's how a river is formed.

      @@Grammarsaurus If that were true, the rivers would go dry immediately after a rain. Or in summer, after the snow in mountains would melt entirely.

      @@dasik84 This is exactly what would happen if it never rained again, but precipitation is common in highlands, so it continues. In the summer, rivers can reduce in depth because of hot temperatures and a lack of precipitation. www.ceh.ac.uk/future-flows-river-flow-changes-season#autumn
