Mercedes front grill had to be changed years ago.. always the same boring grill/rack, only on amg models its nice. But Japanese brands like Lexus and Infiniti are always beautiful, doesn't matter which price/luxury level

At first I was surprised to see all the comments and videos praising the Infiniti over the Mercedes Benz; however after sitting down for a through test drive it was obvious to see that cars are almost identical and that the Mercedes is only more expensive because of the badge. Even the exterior design language shows more effort, class, and style on the Infiniti.
You forgot that they also share the same engine, transmission, and drivetrain., so what is the significant difference? Could it be the maintenance cost such as paying twice as much for oil changes in the Benz?
I like that Mercedes brought back the circular vents. It reminds me of the Mercedes from the 80s like the 300d. IDK if it was intended as a nod to the cars of that era but its nice to see some nostalgia features like that.
Infinity looks more bold and out there...i have driven both. I wish the benz had touch screen, but i wish the infinity was taller on the inside.. im only 5"8 and the infinity seemed so tiny.
Touch screens get very dirty! They also force you to lean forward and change your driving position to enter things. The COMAND controller solves both of those problems!
I felt in love with QX30 Sport, which has different seats than this one. The power is impressive, the only thing I do not like is that QX30 do not have spare tire... i do not know why
A lot of new cars got rid of spare tires to save weight and because we use extended mobility tires. So, rather than park on the side of the road to change to the spare you can drive home or to the tire place. Safety!

Qx30 awd model is higher up, u must be showing fwd model. Seeing both of these vehicles in person , Infiniti looks better. Gla looks same over past 3 years.
I drove both cars multiple times. The Mercedes seemed smaller inside. The touch screen was like an after thought & really get’s in the way. It’s horrible. I couldn’t stand it. The Mercedes seemed more narrow. I detested the way the Mercedes has the column shifting to drive it was horrible. Yes, it is a low to the ground suv but, when I put the Mercedes & the Infiniti side by side the Infiniti had sleeker lines. I like how the gear shifter was inline with the console as was the other controls. So, I went with the Infiniti. It just was a better deal. I’m quite happy with my purchase. Underneath the car there are plenty of thing’s written in German & my first aid kit says Mercedes.The Mercedes does have a little bit more leg room but, that’s it.
I love the interior of the Benz. As far as exterior styling is concerned, both are great for their own rights. If I really am choosing either one of these two, I take the Benz for now. I am not in the market for a cute-UV, but perhaps not so far in the future though :) Thanks for the comparo video, I and my wife both enjoyed it! Cheers!
If you compare apples to apples, they are priced similarly. The Infiniti starts lower, with fewer options, but works its' way up to MB pricing with the increases equipment levels.
Go to the Merc dealer and get a push engine start button for about 40 bucks. My Iiii dealer said he doesn't know why it doesn't come with it but he gave the button for free to me :-)
Infiniti comes with full leather whereas the gla has mbtex even for the highest end gla. also, infiniti qx30 can be bought for 8k cheaper than the gla. Not to mention gla allong with c class are having recalls, transmission problems, even the brand new ones. go check NHTSA website safercar.gov
alot of commenters miss the point. they complain that the infiniti looks more modern thats not a good thing because modern in cars is outdated in 3 years. the mercedes will still be elegent in 3 years the infiniti wont.

Infiniti looks better but it's garbage. Had it for 2 weeks and nothing but problems with the screen that controls the navigation and backup camera. I had to take it back Meanwhile my girlfriend's mom has a gla and has had no problems with it

Both are great cars with a $20k difference. Just goes to show your are paying for the branding and the badge.

Merc has the AMG kit. the QX30 has the standard kit. compare the Sport QX30 and the Merc AMG
