- He is a courser companion, available after Institute Quest "Mankind Redefined". You'll likely find him in the Institute SRB. He likes when you enter Power Armor.
There's only two actually, so included them both.
Highest affinity perk:
"Shield Harmonics" which gives +20 Energy Resistance

Omg I didn't know x6 swears
same 😂😂😂
He almost seemed kind of blank, but like the synths in the railroad, he has a personality, but due to the Institute it's suppressed
3:15
Man. I almost feel bad about nuking him. Almost.
After remembering how he treats Dogmeat... Yeah, not really.
@@succurro Wait who?
HERE IS A BIT OF HELP BLOW UP CIT WITH THE RAILROAD SEND HIM TO RED ROCKET
Is the best companion, and the best faction lol.
@@hellskull6667 nah the institute are just a bunch of delusional mad scientist who think the commonwealth needs them
X6-88 is too pure for this world. You know, even if he is a murderous, deadly, unemotional robotic assassin.
Ok maybe he isn't pure, but he's still a badass companion
Now ask if this is entering and exiting power armor 100 times worth this?
i mean you get that shield harmonics perk
I legit spent 15 minutes getting in and out of my power armour after Danse got mad at me for bringing him to Good Neighbor.
@@cakes4494 🤣
Bethesda really lost an awesome opportunity when creating X688. He is Courser. Trained to do alot of things and that is hunt renegade synths, kill anything that comes between them and look good while doing it. What Bethesda could really do with him is that by staying with the Sole survivor's side he gain doubts about the Institute and it's motive. He was tailored to hunt synths without asking any question but with the Sole survivor's influence on him he starts to change. He could get conflicted between what the Institute wants and what he wants. Imagine if X688 finally acknowledging his sentient feelings and decided to join the railroads.
He wouldn't really be a courser they'd let tag along with you if he could do any of that. It wouldn't make any sense lol
@Hello There LOL
That's kinda what happened with Chase in Far Harbor after talking to DiMA
Then there would be no true i stitute companion
Chase (Far Harbor DLC) is the only rogue Courser that we know of. It's rare, and when it happens the Institute probably doubles down on their programming and makes it even harder for a Courser to break free.
Losing some gen-3s is one thing, but Coursers are the muscle of the Institute. They're meant to be like Terminator's T-800s
What he's exhibiting would be classed as mind wipe material if Ayo heard it.
Haha omg I didn't choose the brown nosing option but after seeing his reaction I wish I had. Thanks for posting!
+Kayla Hernandez yeah, he laughs! haha. Thanks for watching!
Ironic that he is exhibiting a lot of emotion and the SRB would more than likely mind wipe him
PAM would have said "99% chance that Rogue Variable will destroy the Institute. Token dispensed "Well done agent".
Someone made this really funny by adding a super mutant sucider running up to x6-88 after he said Holy $h*t
Link?
I always considered his affinity speeches to be the most endearing. His trust and loyalty are pure and simple. And he might be the only one who truly gives his life, if it means to protect yours.
Really happy to choose the Institute for the 7th or so time.
Nothing can beat them.
Good evening, Director.
Except the Brotherhood
@@inkoofficial4752 Logically and lore wise speaking, the Institute is kinda unbeatable
They produce a soldier every 10 in game minutes, and have teleportation and local production of advanced weapons, and since they produce robots, not humans, their combat ability is just a matter of programming.
Compare that to the BOS, who rely on finite supplies of manpower, ammo and resources. It takes 18 years for a human to be combat effective, for a synth it takes 20 minutes.
Teleportation and robot armies are way too OP, the Brotherhood simply can't win
@@elvispresley2284 Honestly Bethesdas writing makes the F4 Institute completely retarded. I'm not stupid. Shauns retarded Psycho tests, their apparent disregard of human life, the FEV... In many ways the Institute is just another Enclave. And that fucking sucks.
Still, strip away all the shit Bethesda smeared on a gold nugget and you have a good Faction Concept that I could make wonders with. And that's why I keep joining the Institute, because there's gold there.
Those synthetic "humans" of yours are a offense to mother nature and simply disgusting! Technology should be controlled and not run amok! You are kidnapping, killing and replacing people all across the commonwealth and as a soldier of the brotherhood of steel, I a disgusted by your ideals! You just cower in your underground bunker and let terminators do your bidding, while not helping the struggling people of the commonwealth! Your own creation here said it himself, you don't care about the people above, you see them as scum and you want to get rid of them!
now before u give me shit for going all emotional just let me finish (I fukin died😂😂😂)
and the bit with I preference shooting ppl
holy shit I was wrong about u 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😄😄😄😄😄
Very nice, know I just need to find out what he likes and max his affinity without backstabbing my railroad friends.
get you power armor next to a bed and sleep 2 hours then get into the power armor and repeat
Power armor and weapon mods
Railroad is a bunch of hippie assholes.
@@SlothyProductions That helped me so much! I hope other see this comment as well!
Scary to think I've played this game this launch and still know absolutely nothing about this character because I never join the institute
01:26 Humanity's best hope for the future my ass.
I feel like the institute were supposed to be a "the ends justify the means" faction, but unfortunately, not only are their means to get there garbage, their end vision is too.
Better than railroad pussies o BoS bitches.
Gonna cry boS b*tch?
@@maxeisenach1771 exactly what i thought, i get that their purpose is noble but their way of doing it is just way out of line. One or two death is fine by me, but kidnapping people and replacing them, broken mask, cpg massacre, university point, i dont understand how some people actually side with these psycho. I'd take brotherhood anyday, at least they still draw the lines on sacrificing innocent
X6 is a great character. Shouldn't have given him this stupid holy shit line. But overall good job Bethesda on this character
X6 is gawd
Felt bad getting his trust and approval only to destroy the Institute with the Railroad lol. At least he stayed friendly since you are technically never officially declared an enemy of the Institute if you successfully complete Underground Undercover.
3:06 "Has You Opinion Approved?" TODD PLEASE STOP THIS NONSENSE!
Thanks. You know you've got to come watch it on YT because the fuckin' game can't avoid glitching long enough to hear the whole dialog in-game....
All two of them.
Lol at the affinity message showing up during a response option
So THAT was the Institute's endgame! Kill everybody who isn't them! Glad I joined the Railroad.
+Anthony Ringgold all praise the BROTHERHOOD
Minutemen best ending, Save the brotherhood of steel ( paladin Dance ) and the railroad ( Deacon ). No more Fucking institute, and Shaun Goes To Hell :) X6-88 is a Fucking Psychopath.
Actually if you only do X6-88's first mission and don't take him as a companion then you play the Railroad ending, you find him at the Libertalia. He still talks about the Institute and Father as though they exist but happily kills 1 and 2 Gen Synths. You can't take him to Railroad HQ though.
screw the railroad they want to steal x6 I was happy to kill them all except... deacon😟
railroad is the fucking worst they'll bitch out at you for just visiting the institute des and glory and tinker hell all of them are annoying brotherhood is just obnoxious at least they won't bitch at you for just visiting though minutemen are the best in all of it despite their radiance
Do these dialogues trigger after Father dies? I don’t remember getting these but I have X6’s perk
The only true one who will protect the sole survivor tell his last breath and do it well no hate towards codsworth tho
honestly really like x6 but you have to side with the int. to have him :/
I'm sorry, I would give you the information in English but I'm a bit lazy
You don’t have to, if you max you’re affinity with him he will stay with you even if you blow them up
The institute is the best faction.
@@hellskull6667 no es cierto >_<
PD: ¡viva los minuteman! 😜🤠
This Institute is awesome, they’re the Empire of Fallout
420 blaze it weed
Do you have to become enemies with the brotherhood to get max affinity with X6-88?
+LOLcheeseORZ Nope.
No just avoid taking him along when you meet up with either them or the Railroad. He will turn them hostile towards you both.
+JohFri_17 kinda funny when dismiss X6-88 at Boston Airport spotlight will spot him and alarm will on but nobody giving a shit about him
+JohFri_17 strange, for me he is nutral on the bortherhood and railroad factions while following me, he dos turn hostile to them only if i release him or swap him with someone else.
recent change maybe?
心音希月 Guess he behaves when he's under your watch. Dunno.
