i thought the point was that they would be cheap?

That price tag is ridiculous, unless you're getting to live there on the taxpayers dime which is what I think the endgame is for this overrated shipping container.

They meant cheap to make. Not cheap to buy. This allows the makers to increase to prices. Duh guys. 😂

if it has wood in the structure, then it's not a 3D print

3d printers use filament, not ink.

Reporter didn't have a clue about the subject. Not an ink printer but a 3D printer that uses plastics. This one prints like desktop 3d printers but uses concrete.

So… a $200k home for sale in Detroit. Huh. They forget to mention that most insurance companies refuse to even write policies in Detroit. Kudos to this building method. I just don’t understand why they’re building them in this city.

Not true this is not Florida plenty of nice homes in Detroit and plenty of
Home owners who take pride in their
Home. And yes they maintain their home owners insurance. Get your facts straight before you comment.

Why would you pay $200,000 when you can have a pure brick built from the ground up not some 3d? For $200,000 you should be able to have up to five bedrooms this is ridiculous😮👎🏼🧐🤪

It's not the first and it's not cheeper this is not the way to build a house. This is not going to last. This is not news. This is why I don't turn on my T.V. for news.
