Okay, but I love that she has the same battle cry as her mother.
She is her mother's daughter
*she sure does have her mother’s eyes*
"He will never hurt anyone ever again."
Except in another timeline, he did hurt one last person, by taking from him someone he cared deeply for...
Does this count as ending 2 if you count the show?
I prefer this ending.
Rules of time traveling...it was her choice.
Fuck the shows ending, I prefer this one were they live happily ever after.
Alternate ending.
Jack: *Cuts through Robots.*
Robot 1: "...Should we stop him?"
Robot 2: "Nah, I ain't risking it. Just pretend you don't see him."
To be fair, that also happens in the show, so it gets a pass if you ask me
When he was fighting against the bounty hunters in one episode he was rapidly fast, unstoppable.
aku: you can fly
jack: no jump good
Ey, i remember that episode!
@@Crazylom yeah glad genndy referenced it and the twisted irony is that aku is now trapped forever between time he trapped jack so now jack traps him and best of all him and ashi can live in peace which is funny cuz i predicted it i said this is his (genndy's) chance to make an alternate ending cuz video games are famous for them i even compared it to ffr while still controversal im happy zack survived which means aerith can to yes having them not die removes emotional tnsion but i don't want a straight up retelling thats just boring in my honst opinion let fans of the original have what they want and remake fans enjoy a fresh new take instead of a retred thats what i wanted for this new jack game and i got it now weather the game fits in canon is debatable but i consider it part of the lore even the official twitter said it is
And yet, he no longer does that.
@@garthdavis4320there were many times after he could have pulled this trick, but never did, and they even brought back the monkey guy and his posse too, he even says the dang line but jack no jump.
Ah. That feeling of CLOSURE i so desperetaly needed for 20 years.
This is perfect.
yeah but it raises alot of theories regarding her aku's essense still left her body so here's my take i know this will sound strange but i believe all the scenes played out including her fading away (thank god they didn't show the full wedding i mean i could take it this time but it would still be very sad) except this time the lady bug acted as not only a sign of hope but i wish to have her back i don't believe she's a memory in his head i believe shes truly there resting in happiness with him the reason i say all the scenes played out is cause he was in mourning at first mourning the loss of his love but the ladybug comforts him letting him know everything is fine thats when she shows up i know strange headcannon and genndy could come out and say otherwise however if she was truly a nemory then he could of easilywrote that in the show
The game looks like a high quality fan game, but a low quality professional game at times
Yeah, another arstyle would have looked better, but it's way less ugly than i thought it would be based on the trailers, they are at least very expressive. It's not a triple A game, but it's a game from fans to fans, and i can take that.
Ya well its a game for the fans, hence they brought pretty much all the original VA's for this game.
@@BlueGuyTube I played it. Its pretty spotty sometimes in the Cutsecene Animation quality and it feels like they had nobody who could even try to emulate the cinematography. But they did the best they could and I am happy for them.
Kinda reminds me of those old movie/show tie in games that looked kinda janky, but slapped REAAALLY hard from back in the day
Fun fact I tried the mobile version of this game on my iphone 7 and this is before I got my android phone well how did I play that game for new members apple arcade would give them an actual 1 month subscription with no need for money to pay
This was what we needed. A final battle with Future Aku, the one that put Jack through so much shit, even more than the past version.
If they showed Ashi fading away like the ending of the show, my heart would’ve shattered
lol yea the game is like this is the ending nope theres nothing else this is the end.
@@saloz9483 Pretty damn deceptive lmao
Saloz94 They should’ve show an ending Jack and Ashi getting married and didn’t get Ashi fade away
@@rwb2011 they could've easily shown the rest of the shows ending since it's after this and its like 3 mins long but they decided not to. I'll take this as those behind the game saying this is the games ending. Jack and ashi survived and you can think whatever after.
@@Flamelance_Accendo I mean if they feel it's better to end samurai jack here then what the show did I'm cool with it lol.
This game really complimented the final season nicely and added in the elements that I felt were lacking in the finale, as much as I loved it.
Jack and Aku have a lot more interactions that showcase their rivalry. These interactions also added one final reminder of why Aku, while a great and funny character and villain, deserved to be destroyed. The scene where he essentially murders Ashi by pushing her to be impaled by Jack's sword was cruelty not even seen in the TV show.
Jack has an epic showdown with Aku in the future/present before going back to the past to destroy him there as well. Having a more fleshed out battle in the future, followed by a more brief one in the past complemented each other perfectly.
More time with his allies, specifically the Scotsman.
Edit: and to think all of the above was before I even saw the true ending to the game (thanks james walker for mentioning it in your comment). Yeah, this is pretty damn perfect. The saga of Samurai Jack, a huge part of my childhood and life, is perfectly concluded. Thanks for all the likes my fellow fans!
Oh yes! This game really does compliment a lot of drawbacks the finale had! I was really glad we finally got too see aku getting his more outwardly malicious mood outward again, Jacks mental and physical endurance is just stunning in the face of this grand scheme against him. I’m so happy Jack got to defeat future again that put him through all that BS rather than past aku who was to confused and scared to process the gravity of the situation.
I completely agree! I loved the final season, but there were some things I was a little annoyed with. Jack not being able to have one final battle with future Aku was one of them. We also get to see most of our favourite allies and villians along the way too!
The secret ending we got was just the cherry on top! Now Jack's story has truly ended, be at peace Samurai, you've earned it!
@@jim2469 agreed on all subjects. Except mad jack. I was hoping for him, like in the shadow aku. Also Scotsman's wife.
A bit of a shame we didn't get to fight Aku in all of his shape shift forms like the bull and octopus though...
Ribbons Almark yeaaaah...
Aku’s body and movement reminds me of those ink creatures from Bendy and the Ink Machine...but with more fire...
The searchers
Or the Blotlings from Epic Mickey.
I didn't expect this game to be played by you but I like it!
Just judging by this clip alone, looks like Greg Baldwin got better doing the voice of Aku. Mako is irreplaceable and while Greg did a good imitation in the final season, it just didn’t feel right. But THIS, this feels like Mako’s Aku. Pretty damn close.
yeah and the secret ending makes it worth it
I known nothing about this game existence, but Holy shit these models and animations are well made...
Fighting Aku in the present for the last time was what I wanted. And it felt good
I think this game didn’t show the wedding because I think the ending is trying to tell us Ashi Doesn’t Die in this game
It feels like the game is saying to ignore that. Mainly cause the rest of the shows ending is like a few minutes more of footage so if they wanted to show that they would have.
I played the game omg terrible ending and so you have to think 🤔 about the future of Jack and is Ashi still alive or not
rwb2011 It still alive
Fernando G. Who alive Ashi
rwb2011 yes ashi is alive
Jack,on your left
(Portal opens)
Da Samurai: Yo, is that everyone?
The Scotsman: Ye wanted more lad?
Wow nice the ending we all actually wanted in the show but never got..... I much prefer this ending than the shows ending.
14:41 Suprme Advisor: Tomonobu Itagaki . Alright game, you have my attention.
Aku cannot be destroyed. You already know, without the evil, the good cannot exist, and turned around,
Aku can be destroyed. Just because he's dead doesn't mean that evil will no longer exist. Basic knowledge!
Aku is just a villian, not the physical manifestation of evil as a whole.
This is the alternative timeline where Jack never go to Taco Bell and he won't became Samurai Juan
This should have been the proper ending for season 5.
"In living memory of Yasushi Maeda"
Who is this? Google couldn't provide an answer to anyone with this name related to Samurai Jack
A developor of the ninja gaiden series(same team who made this game)
I think he died or some shit
@@fifipotato3772 thank you so much for a reply
@@fifipotato3772 im late but I hope you enjoyed pysconauts 2 it was worth the wait. Fr fr
When the 5th season came out, I was really hoping that Jack and Aku were going to kill each other.
I keep hearing that Ashi survives but it just shows part of the original ending, and doesnt hint at anything changing from the final episode. Iwas pretty much hyped over this games story for the possibility of giving my boy Jack a happy ending with Ashi and they didnt even bother to shoehorn the entire ending. This entire game was inconsequential in every way. This entire thing was just a fanfic recap of the show
Actually it gave us the climactic final showdown between Jack and Aku that was missing in the original series finale. I wouldn't say this game is worthless.
ruclips.net/video/UEXa17ah-S0/видео.html this is the secret ending, you get it by getting all the collectables
3:29 The moment Aku became Akuma
this Aku voice actor would be a good Dr. Robotnik in a future Sonic game
I didn't think the flames in Aku's lair were made of stone.
he sits on em a few times in episodes so I dunno
I supppsed the only problem I had with the final battle with Aku is that he didn't use any shapeshifting powers. Outside of just being puddles of fire and becoming bigger.
I would have preferred him becoming like other creatures and stuff. You know to challenge everything you've learned. As a way to put that skill tree to good use.
Like if he became a bird or bat creature you could shoot your arrows at him to get him down.
Or if he became like a bull, you could use the dive roll ability from the skill tree to move out of the way. He could've even become like a snake to challenge your countering when he strikes. So many possibilities!
Don't get me wrong, the final boss battle was great! But I do feel like it was lacking that Aku shapeshifting aesthetic, that made Jack's first encounter with Aku in the show so memorable.
Let me know if any of you feel the same way.
I agree with all of that. It would've also been cool to require you to "jump good" to land the finishing blow.
@@ramsesjfg7668 Yes! Like he grows to like a massive height that only the 'jump good' ability could allow you to reach.
@@Red-Renegade-Studios in shadow of aku i think he transformed into a fish but that could easily be dodged with timing
@@Ncholasbloom that's it? A fish?😂
@@Red-Renegade-Studios scratch that a dragon to i do see what you mean by lacluster but hey atleast its better then the final fight in the show
Is it just me, or is Aku weirdly,, small?
And less shape shifty
Yeah he should of had more forms for the boss fight!
They probably couldn’t give Aku any major transformations because making his already amorphous body teleport all over the place during the final battle was already difficult and costly.
I just love that Da samurai got a redemption
I like the graphics and animations. It's cool.
>All these comically outdated Robots
It was never about just make good indestructible robots like those 5 Samurai Robots that could only be destroyed by each other but just make exhausting amounts of Scrap Bots that could be recycled over and over again just in the desperate attempt to exhaust Jack which never ended up happening over the course of 50 years
Going thru that time Portal has somehow made Jack Immortal. Its like his very life is now forever apart of the Time Space continuum where his soul is time itself.
Wow Samoorai joining Jack too? That was my wish.
When Aku says "You're back already!" In this game he doesn't sound nearly as surprised as he did in the show
Why you guys type samurai Jack alternate ending and watch right?
Why does the portal sound like someone is ripping some hard ass farts
0:50 cue avengers theme
Ihazbestplan I think you meant the avengers portal theme
Through out the whole shows, many Jack side characters haven't forgotten Jack.
Oh man I forgot all about this game. How is it so far? Is it any good?
I actually enjoyed it for what it is. As for musou games go, its not near Pirate Warriors, but it does have its own style that made me appreciate it.
@@Cyberman65 Okay thanks! I'm definitely going to pick this up!
14:44 a wild stallion appears!
Wow the combat in this game actually looks pretty good, almost looks like they are actually fighting. Better than Battlefront.,
I hope you’re referring to the new school Battlefront and not the Classic Battlefront.
for samurai jack!
I am so hyped
The only thing I don't like is the textures on Aku. Rather than living darkness come to life, he looks a bit more like that magnetic slime people do videos with.
Like his eyebrows. That kind of texture, just black, to give him that extra animated look.
Agreed
I needed that moment between Irishman and he's daughter the best family of this show.
"irishman"
It's the Scotsman, my guy.
I don't remember the Scotsman teaming up with Jack in the ending, but this is the ending we deserved for sure.
So much nostalgia
Hey, you didn;t include the after-credits scene!
Well, its a secret one...
I think you have to meet the requirements to earn the true epilogue.
I always felt the boss fight should have been more like this, when Jack's Father fought Aku. At least Ashi survived this time.
ruclips.net/video/PdrFp6GIWoE/видео.html
Jack summoning his inner Green Lantern there.
This little diversion was a bad move for Aku, since all he ended up doing is making Ashi use her time powers enough to become unaffected by time as Jack was when he was sent outside of his time period for 50 years. Hence the true ending.
Man LEGIT just added salt to his own wounds
You know what would be cool if when you beat the game you get a new mode free roam where you can see all the people that you helped and kill countless monsters and find new weapons and get stronger and stronger and then you can try to beat the game again but with a different experience
What no alternate ending? Curse you Genndy!
No clue. Maybe if you play hard mode.
@@jturner2577 Are you saying there is?

Aren't you gonna finish Sonic Heroes and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle in Japanese soon?
He already did.
I know but when will he upload more videos of Sonic Heroes and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle in Japanese?
They way u fought was cool I wanna get the game now to be able to fight like that
I really want to buy this.
Will this run on intel Ice lake Irus Plus graphics?
While I do adore this game and what it brings to us fans...I am a little saddened that we never got to see the Spartans or X49 again...
The Fallen King/Lava Warrior was a lovely surprise, though; I gave the biggest cheer when I found him in the game.
...I just love my Spartans...and maybe fighting the Ninja in an all black/white battle because that would be awesome.
I've been wondering... what happened to the previous timeline? Did it disappear? Was everyone erased from existence? If not, are they still being ruled by aku?
The original ending to the series, before the secret ending in this game, shows Ashi disappearing as time catches up to her. I would presume that Jack erased and overwrote the future ruled by Aku, but I can't be certain.
I am confused if Jack defeated future Aku and past Aku won’t that cause Ashi existence to never happen.
Una excelente adaptación de esta magnifica serie.
Its werid to hear aku without the sound of branch's
Iroh underestimates Earth King Kuei.
Aku is The God of Demon
Funny moment between the scotsman and daughter. Lalalalala! so proud😭😆. For samurai jack! And the samurai. I was hoping to see him again. He's funny😄. This ending is better. I wish this was live action.
As I’ve said before, this game could definitely use some downloadable content.
Just a quick question the game is amazing but I just want to know who is yasushi maeda?
Disregard the question I found out who he is the game still rocks though
I still want to know
It’s the early 2000s I’m a kid glued to the screen, it’s dark outside and I’m watching cartoons. Samurai Jack intro plays and the flashing black and white burns into my mind.
This ending is much better, he defeats aku in both timelines saving both the past and future, the shows ending just simply erased the future one.
Does anything even happen if you collect everything???
ruclips.net/video/UEXa17ah-S0/видео.html yes, u get the secret ending
A Video Game Based A Famous Cartoon Network And Adult Swim Show I Haven't Played The Game Yet But This Seems Cool
Guys Jack defeated aku in the future and past so ashi and Jack are getting married and they lived happily ever after.
Did he die in the future cause I didn't see it?
I played the game omg terrible ending and so you have to think 🤔 about the future of Jack and is Ashi still alive or not
It could’ve been a better ending if they show the wedding scene and she didn’t fade away in the wedding scene
@@rwb2011 That would've been so great I didn't know why the fuck they didn't add that in the end of the game.
Andrew Cabral exactly thank you
This game for anyone asking is canon. He made it seperate from the main show. I remember early on in the reveal him stating how the ending would be different than the tv shows but it still counts.
I accept this over the shows ending
At least Ashi is alive
I will miss there rivalry...
wow? aku vs jack? why didnt this happen in the actual ending of the show? lmfao
also glad this game explained why aku didn't do anything in the season 5 finale to stop jack and ashe.
How do you beat this level in Master Samara Mode
So this game is technically Cannon?
The secret ending does makes more sense because if you erase Ashi from the existence everything of her interaction with Jack is supposed to not happened also that would also erase her help against Aku and would undone everything she had done for jack like transporting him back in the past. The argument of Ashi being gone is because of Aku being destroyed so everything Aku did is undone, Then it is also applied to Ashii, So everything Ashi had done will also need to be undone, So Jack would not had return to past too and defeat Aku. That's why it's better to treat this one as a new timeline that Ashii lives instead.
A law is in general and works in domino. When you applied something on Aku it should be with Ashii too. That's why it doesn't make sense to erase Ashi because what she had done stayed in Jack current timeline. It's more logical that this is a new timeline and also remember that because of Time Travel Jack doesn't aged anymore and Time Travel should had effects also to Ashi as well.
is this offline game No need wifi connection ?
So Ashi didn't die?
I hope so
I think she still does. It's just a dark foreshadowing that fans who saw the final season will already know is coming anyway.
I played the game omg terrible ending and so you have to think 🤔 about the future of Jack and is Ashi still alive or not
After that scene she should.
Rex4Smash you think Ashi is still alive
My favorite cartoon when i was a kid.. 😂..

There's gonna be a mobile version of the game

Im surprised other weapons can harm aku in this game
Wait the dog didn't appear for me
He did not kill aku here.
nope in this game future aku is trapped in his own pocket dimension forever thats some nice twisted irony aku trapped jack in time for 50 yrs but now he is trapped between time and best of all jack gets his happy ending now weather the game is truly canon is debatable but in a prediction i said that id want a proper final battle and a different ending for the samurai i got both so im content genndy could one day make a sequel where aku escapes but i doubt it plus i really don't want that to happen jack and ashi deserve peace
Samurai Jack can't kill Aku, but Samurai Juan defeats Aku easily
I think this game would have looked better if they did not use motion capture.
