Corona virus has scared away a lot of travelers but not my Viking. He had whole hotel staff to himself.
You must have realized by now that the safest country for the COVID is SriLanka. because of the heat and other factors. so he made a wise choice
@@MotoTrooper yeah he made good contact with the Comunity even better than most of the Natives. so he was like simply stepping one of his home
@@MotoTrooper Exactly...

Right!! 🤟🏼
How gay is this 😂😂 meethe gud
9:25 - "TUNA" is now going to be my standard response when anyone asks me "how are you?"
Haha 😂
TUNA is a mood
Your humour makes it hard for me to kipper straight face.
Well, be happy at least he knew the name of that fish! Cuz they aren’t so educated like you guys.
so how are you yash
Love the food Sagara has cooked, lovely Mango curry and would like to go to Galle for buying some fresh Balaya fish. Missing you Sri Lanka and lovely people
HHaaaaaa yes Balaya indeed, and Bonito in English. Especially made into Ambulthia.
Sri Lankan people are really nice and friendly, I would love to visit soon. The chef was a really cool dude and that mango curry looked delicious. Stay safe Harald and keep up the great adventures!
Harald is back in the driver seat with this video! Absolutely stunning street market scenes and the Master Chef picking out ingredients for Harald's special prepared meal. Life is so raw and exotic there compared to here in the West. Really liked the Chef's personality and he has done his employer and himself proud. Just incredible food video, that hotel and the Chef is going to get a lot of attention and new customers because of how inviting, friendly and interactively the Master Chef was with Harald. Simply a knock out of the park!!!!!!
Hotel needs to give this man a bonus....thats flipping awesome taking him to the market and talking over everything and produce....i LOVED this video!!!!!
I buy ceylon cinnamon from Sri Lanka through Ebay. Only place this type grows i think.. good for diabetics.
@ Walter, yes Ceylon cinnamon is the only kind good for diabetics. If you consume Chinese or South American cinnamon for a long period of time ,it causes LIVER damage. Ceylon is the way to go :-).
SL has the worlds best cinnamon.
you have try cinnamon tea also... its very healthy hot drink specially good to use it winter.. 👌👌👌
Hey walter perry, i am produce the Great Sri Lanka cinnemon.. if you like to buy direct with cheap price (cheap than ebay price) comment your contact details i will contact you soon sir. Thank you so much
And bitter goad that they took from market
.. Its one of the best vegetables for diabetes
I feel a sense of happiness whenever o see him travelling and interacting with the locals. I love him and his persona. My bucketlist is to travel like him and who knows maybe one day i could be a part of his vlog.
That chef is so friendly =) i like his attitude =) ❤ . Thankyou for sharing your talent on us. Godbless you! ❤ .. Keep Safe harald
This guy has such a great energy. Would watch if he had a cooking show!
@ Jacob, Thank you VERY MUCH! he does have his own cooking show now, Named CHEF SAGARA. Check that out please :-)..
Harald It must now be not so unusual for you
to get recognized by locals
While travelling in south or south east Asia!
Your contribution to this region is immense
And we are thankful!
Here's the funny thing. In places like Sri Lanka and India, people often stop to say hello regardless if they know you or not. So it's not that different from before too be honest. So yes it's not that unusual. It happened on the first trip as well
Ok @harald so that is something we call xenophile.
People here are definitely attracted toward foreigners and all the custom and belief they bring along.
So yea akash approves!
Ps- reply from creators are rare, so it's always good when somebody does.
If someday you travel to north India
Remember the name- thanks!
@@akashgupta1980 Yes I want too see Harald try lots of North Indian food, north india curry is different right? You have different spices and chillies etc
@UKbeats yes buddy!
We have no. Of spices used
In different proportions to make wide variety of Indian cuisine.
Harald definitely got a lot to try, whether you talk about food or varied landscape of northern India!
@sarthak yadav
Please respect someone's curiousity to learn or know something new!
Im proud for that chef ... 🇱🇰🇱🇰 cool..
Harald: Hello dear, how are you?
Me: Tuna

The chef was so friendly and passionate about his work. That's so cool to watch! Great videos!
Chef Sagara is a Rock Star ! What an absolute pleasure to hangout with someone who is passionate to share his craft. I'd make him Captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team !
From beginning to end, Harald's mind is on getting a good thumbnail.
-'Thumbnail', the lure that sets the hook. ;)
Love Sinhalese, once I swam in an Indian ocean where I saw Srilankan land. Hopefully one day I'll visit Srilanka just to taste sea foods first. Love from Telangana India.
The chef is a great host . Loved the positive atmosphere , Would love to eat the Sri Lankan food
Finally. My favorite RUclips creator has returned.
Beautiful and interesting vlog with Sri Lankan Chef. Lovely and enjoyed thoroughly. Also, the man at the fish market selling fish and giving you information speaks very good english and well. Interestingly and calmly, guiding and giving you info of the nearby what's happening. So nice and sweet of him. Thanks for him too and making and covering a nice vlog. Cheers. The food looked awesome and of course the taste too.
When you try a Sri Lankan Rice and curry next time, you should add rice much more than curries to your plate and mix small amounts of all curries with rice and eat.. That's the proper way to eat sri lankan meals...
Yasintha Yomesh And lose that stupid fork and use right hand would add alot of flavor👌🏻
@@bandar4498 left hand even more flavor :) :)
What's the taste of that mango curry? Sour, sweet, spicy all at once?
@@McFourSeasonsDiscovery all mixed perfectly 😋
@@McFourSeasonsDiscovery actually it's not sour at all it has a sweet taste even though the mangoes weren't riped. if you add black roasted curry powder to the mango curry it enhances more flavors from mango
It's good to see Haraldo back blasting out videos again!
I never been to Sri lanka
When I see the chef at work

Oh wow so it mean 2nd visit to srilanka. Kind man to people. I started watching all videos by harald and I'm from 🇳🇵. Vote for Kumar 2020 request by harald 😀
Harald always finds the best people, this chef deserves some mad respect
The drumsticks are the seed pods from the Moringa tree. The little drumsticks are more tender than the bigger ones. I know this because I have a Moringa tree in my backyard and it also has "drumsticks" hanging from it.
What do they taste like?
@@leathercheerio1 Taste like OKRA but bitter.
The Man from Fish Market.. I like the way he Spoke English 😃
Finally a sri lankan video i haven't seen yet!
Herald knows that Srilanka is the best safe place for Corona with their traditional immunity boosting herbs and spices!!!
The chef is so professional
Harald you are absolutely amazing . Are you filming, YES we are! 🎓🔭❤️❤️❤️
Harald: "Hello there, how are you?"

So happy to see you back in Sri Lanka. Perfect timing. Now I can binge watch your fun travels while we are in self isolation with all kinds of travel bans in this part of the world. Happy travels. 👋🏽
Sagara = Ocean, a great chef like ocean.
11:21 damm that man's english is clear af.
Dinera Bulathsinhala yeah..!! 👍🏻 nice
Yeah , im surprised too
Exactly, as a Sri Lakan that was very surprising for me. Super clear. Amazing. Must have worked outside of the country. It is sad how some of these people do not use their full capabilities.
I'd say it's indian accent 😎
his throat is just making an illusion to the ears that he is speaking good english
Wow Harald !
You really found the best of Our Hospitality in this Chef! Even I feel like cooking these dishes today here in Colombo.
He was literally looking at you and chopping at the sam time 😱 , what a beast.
