SAFE Workers Aren't Born, They're Trained

SAFE workers aren't born - they're trained.
That's the message we want Manitobans to embrace with our first campaign of 2012.
Campaign materials show young workers in common workplaces listening to adults talk about their job role. These young workers will not understand what they are being asked to do because of their inexperience and lack of training.
We want the campaign to promote awareness of SAFE Work to the general public and encourage them to test their training at safemanitoba.com with SAFE Work's newly developed training tool.
With the training tool, users can select their industry and answer five quick questions about their safety training to get an overall training score.
It is important to remember EMPLOYERS are responsible for providing workplace health and safety training.
