Abraham Hicks brought to me what 33yrs. of devotion to the Church could not! Abraham's teachings took me from despair and misery to complete joy! The Church took away my personal power, Abraham gave it to me! I am grateful!
I understand where this man is coming from. I grew up in the LDS Church and experienced much guilt in the past. The Church teaches that any movement "away" from the Church is from the Devil. I pushed against the LDS Church for a few years. Now, I know that my only responsibility is to be in alignment with my own inner guidance system. Alignment with Source is the answer to every situation.
I was raised LDS too. I always felt indifferent to many of the beliefs since I was young. I was beginning my journey into Source, and looking back I understand and see I was naturally trying to be in alignment, and punished by those around me for thinking and questioning.
That was helpful!! I'm a gay Catholic and I know I don't need to push against thousands of years and billions of people (or worse...my family) I can be very happily one with God regardless of fear-based teachings. I can hear the truth and Love no matter what. I like the part where they said the Masters are evolving as well!
I am so glad I came across this video. I don't call myself a Christian, but a believer. I stopped going to church about ten years ago. I stopped reading the Bible. Since I started listening to AH video of April 2019 I have been enlightened a great deal. I felt stagnant, I wasn't moving forward. Thank you, this video is the answer I was looking for. That whatever is working for me to use it till I need to let it go.
I have great peace since leaving the LDS church. I support my family in their belief. Accepting their path that is their own, and mine. Regardless of how they feel and think about me I don’t validate my life, my path, based on their guidelines for life.

Cognitive dissonance: feeling the truth of what Abraham is saying but not allowing or even wanting yourself to accept it because "religion says so" or my "parents say so". Talk about mental slavery. What a mess we've gotten ourselves into.

I was brought up in a very strict religion from a baby, completely brainwashed. We were not allowed to question anything, it was very controlling. I felt trapped and depressed for a lot of my life. I was always ill. I finally left when I was 38 yrs old. I lost all my friends (as they were all in the religion) and I risked being disowned by my whole family. It took years to get rid of the brain conditioning. But I have totally changed my whole belief system. I am 60 years old now and am more happy than I have ever been. I am free :-) And I owe a lot to Abraham xxx

Great! The last statement is truly what leading-edge people should remember. It is so easy to want to do a crusade against old beliefs, but we really don't have to. I've seen plenty of people who learned this and tried to be a savor or leader. Usually it didn't bring a good result to not only people who they considered 'not awaken' but to them also. WE DON'T HAVE TO DO A CRUSADE! Our job is only finding alignment. If you have to do something, the Source will assemble everything perfectly.

The reason I turned away from religion was because i had a spiritual awakening and I knew right then that that was for real, that this moment of connection I had felt with god was more real then anything ive ever felt in the 20+ years i was going to church and studying the bible, that nothing ive ever felt was I ever even comparable so I knew it was right and right for me. I thought it was my own unique religion ANF kept it to myself for a year or so then I started getting educated bout all this stuff and then I came across this awesome lady a couple weeks ago and it's like I am able to integrate this stuff into my life now for once. Every situation is different. Alignment with your higher self is the most important. If you felt good about name removal, then it was right. I have seen some people kick against the LDS Church and become extremely bitter... they resign out of a "I'll show them!" vibration. That is a sign that they are not in alignment with Source because they are angry and bitter. If it feels good, it is right.
I HAVE BEEN VASCILLATING BETWEEN VARIOUS DIFFERENT TEACHERS. Sounds easy, and I like her advice, but the problem is, is that once you become an independent source, you are cast aside. I guess it doesn't matter so much, as its just irritating. I realized a long time ago, that i just can't be boxed in. They will throw scripture in your face, well meaning to help you, but just do not understand your mindset. I am not knocking Churches or people, because there are good people everywhere.
And people should not live happily ever after in their religion because people deserve to and need to know this stuff, so cut the calm voice and the airy fairy shit, abe!!!!!!!! It is just WRONG.
