Did you say, "go with stock"???? If I saw right on the video, the SLS 1:100 lost its fins right before apogee. Maybe the rocket reached MaxQ and the fins couldn't survive the pressure? :) Also, there needs to be a much shorter delay on the ejection. That guy was nose down and accelerating when the charge finally went off. The Vulcan Centaur was the best flight of the day (near perfect) with ejection right at apogee. Those last three rockets flew straight and true, really nice! So that buyers of MaxQ don't get surprised when they fly their rockets, you should always do first test flights with the MaxQ fins. Don't fix until you know it's broken :). Video work was awesome best in class!!!!
Boops baby delta 😊
Great load of flights buddy lovibg the new 100: SLS cant wait for the next flights take care buddy
We'll continue to fine tune the fin situation and make it even better!
And hugs sls
Nicely done! Different place than Maricopa, but a dandy field.
It is a great place to fly as well. Thank you!
Awesome video all great flights. The SLS flew pretty good without fins but honestly no surprise MaxQ is just that good
Amen! Thanks for the kind words!
Nice to see that your new field is better than the other one.
Despite the soft sand you have to trudge through to get to the rockets, it is SOOOO worth it! I love the wide openness of the new field.
@@KevinsModels It also looks like the sand is 'manicured'....no weeks or trash either.
Great day of flying. 4/4 will you get you into the hall of fame
Just as long as I don’t place any bets on my flights! LOL
You have to get that 1:100 SLS back up because all your flights today were very straight and true.
Still fine tuning the fins....... We'll get that SLS flying straight and true very soon!
Awesome rockets
Thanks Chris!

Appreciate the comments Michael! I wish Estes made an F15-2...........
@@KevinsModels Rocket may be too heavy for the engine to get it to glide to apogee.
