Wow! Julie, you captured the scope and beauty of London's most amazing park. I was so fortunate to live blocks away. I remember walking through Kyoto Gardens, then Fukushima and finally the Dutch Garden where I would sit on one of the wonderful benches and catch up on my reading. After a hectic day or week at work this was my respite. Thank you so much for the memories.

Holland Park is one of my favorites, too. Love the Kyoto Gardens and the peacocks.
I think one of the things that surprised me the most first time I went there is that there is a hostel on the grounds you can stay in. I didn't expect to see that in a London park. I've never done a hostel, but if you're traveling on the cheap (£22 a night for a bed in the dorm), it's an option.
Thanks for sharing. I get to go back in 186 days for my 2nd ever visit, and I cannot wait!
Yes! It is unbelievable that there is a hostel here Safestay London Kensington Holland Park 4🌟 apparently.

Kyoto is my favourite as well. Personally I prefer to go there early morning to get a good dose of peacefulness. Still it’s amazing at anytime of the day.

@@tonyb9864 Holland Park is just a little over half a mile west of Kensington Gardens, so on a sunny day, (or even a rainy one), if you have free time, it makes a great walk to explore them both..
