- Fall is upon us and I couldn't be happier. What better way to celebrate my favorite season than by trying to catch the Angler, and by doing some organizing around the farm! Sounds like a good time to me.
Quick note: If my voice in this video sounds a bit different, we have some construction going on in the house so I had to record in a different room.

I'm still amazed with the way the creator just went about relationships. Demetrius giving you the "dad speech", no matter what gender the player is, is one of those moments that make this game amazing

Hi Chickady! I forgot to write it in the previous videos, but I remember you were waiting for big melons in the summer, but you weren't watering the middle row after they were grown. If you plan on having big pumpkins, make sure to water those when they are ripe, otherwise it won't work. Hope this helps! Big fan of yours! 💜 🎃

If it's raining, Elliott doesn't come out of his house at all. It always seems to rain on his birthday whenever I play so I try to make sure I get at least two hearts with him before Fall 5th so I can still get him his birthday gift.

You make me want to start a new file with the four corners layout but I haven't even finished my commuinty center in my current file at year 5 lmfao.
That's exactly what this series has done to me. I've only played one farm previously so I've been sort of using Chickedy Farms as a tutorial of sorts. It makes waiting for the next episode harder.

Well good thing my lazy butt finally finished the last episode. Also Wickedy at least your farm has some semblance of organization unlike mine. Mine is horrible, I'm in year two and I'm still super disorganized
I used to suck at farm decorations and organizing but recently I started to get good and now I’m decent at decorating and really good at organizing
Once you have the greenhouse you can run it for cash while you take out the system you have and redo it. Year two is still pretty early. Year two and you're still building up cash reserves and building relationships. Year three you should have grandpa's blessings and if so you don't need skull cavern and don't therefore need much other than wood and stone. If you don't, then year three will be skull cavern runs and building up those relationships so grandpappy can move on happy with how you are doing, so you don't need all the space you currently cultivate for cash and gifting, you just need to keep enough up to be able to gift and something to do.
For example, since not watering plants doesn't kill them, only the end of season does that, you can decide just to run one cash crop bundle like melons and enough to stock up on whatever of that season's produce someone loves, and leave it alone if you need to get stone or go fishing or whatever, because you can miss more than half the month watering and still get one crop of melons out.
Lightdragonslayer -- You get more time to do stuff as the game progresses, especially with sprinklers and animal product collectors. You can also sell up the animals for a season, or just use the greenhouse to grow stuff and concentrate on design.

Wickedy, might be worth selling off the gold ore and iron ore even to Clint and buying coal off him. You can't turn the ore into anything without coal, so it is only worth cashing in anyway.
Am I the only one who noticed the duck egg in the bottom right corner of the coop ?
I don't know if you're still doing the voice-over afterwards, but it's sounding a lot more natural over the last bunch of videos :) ( sorry for commenting this on an older episode I'm catching up!!!)

I believe she said in the first episode this playthrough won't have any mods. She's using the new 1.4 map called Four Corners.

Is it me or is the sellings screen telling wrong individual prices? Mayo definitely doesn't sell for 2g...
This episode came out before adjustments were made in a later update. Now adays we see the price per each, quantity and total on the sell sheet, but it used to show just the quantity and total, so it says 2 because I sold 2. 😉
