Sammy Davis Jr was voted #3 of the top ten tap dancers of all time and this was from the professionals. Yes, Davis was that good.

Never heard of Mr. Laurence before. Apparently he died young at 53 in 1974 of cancer. Those two were just sensational. Can someone bring back tap with all these silly videos going around.
