When they space is limited like it was here there is not enough room for the cast to wear the animal costumes and also they go right into he lives in you.
Not enough room. Not sure if you've ever seen it live, but some of the animal costumes, like the rhino and elephant, are huge. The elephant alone takes at least 4 people just for the legs (theater was dark so I couldn't see if there was anyone for the body)

The first is sung by Mufasa to Simba, teaching him about their ancestors who look down on the lions, ancestors plural, which is the “they” you’re talking about. Plural ancestors. The reprise comes after adult Simba has an existential crisis and Rafiki shows him that his father’s spirit lives on, hence the “he”. This show has been on Broadway since 1998. If you have issues with a pronoun, I wish my life was as carefree as yours seems to be.

There are a few clicking sounds in the Zulu language, but most of the clicking is done in the Xhosa language
This Mufasa is the best one I’ve seen and his voice is incredible 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥from makeup to hair to the costume just magnificent and stupendous
